I had DIRECT interaction with this company, and am sharing my experience with the crew and foreman of this company. My neighbor hired this company to cut several large branches off on a completely diseased Elm Tree on their property. They felt it was acceptable to drop these a large limbs onto the top of our garage. They dropped many other smaller branches all over our yard and onto our garage. Instead of knocking on our door and getting permission to clean up the mess they made, they climbed over the neighbors fence, trespassed into our secure backyard, climbed onto our garage and used their chain saw on-top of our garage to cut up the limb. My security camera alerted me of the trespassers and the police came out. They left us with a damaged garage roof that was newly installed in May. They dented our gutters with their ladders as well. They worked directly over a live ComEd power line, and dropped a large branch directly onto the live line. They are are completely unprofessional and unsafe. None of the crew was wearing hard hats. Some of the crew thought it was acceptable to take turns bouncing on the trampoline while this all was occurring. read more

I would hire this company over and over again to take care of trees that need to be removed or trimmed. They were super knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and came to my home to look at the trees the same day I reached out. When the day to trim 5 large trees came, they came with a crew, walked around with me to confirm exactly what I wanted, and did periodic check ins to ask if I liked the progress along the way to ensure we were on the same page. They also cleaned up very well, and even helped do a last minute trim of a tree my neighbor requested while they were packing up. The team was 10/10! They were also super affordable. Hire this team! Brian came out to provide a stump removal estimate the day I called for a quote. Not only did he provide quotes that we're at least $50 below competitors, but also provided very cheap rates for my next door neighbor who wanted some additional stumps removed since they were already here. They grind the stumps deep, to ensure roots are fully removed and regrade the area for you leaving it very clean and level. Worked with Brian in the past to remove a dead tree in my backyard and everything went well so I decided to use his services again when I needed to remove two stumps in my backyard. Brian came out and gave a estimate and proceeded to finish the work. The issue is he chopped up all the logs and stumps but LEFT ALL THE WOODCHIPS BEHIND!!! I called him to inform him that his crew left the chips behind and continued to lie to me and tell me that someone was coming out. Well it's been almost 3 weeks and nothing. Don't appreciate being lied to about services that a company provides especially if it's stated on the invoice!!! Brian stopped by to give us a quote a few hours after request made. Price was very reasonable. His people showed up on time and in full force a week later and finished cutting/clearing a very large fallen maple in less than two hours. They hand raked and cleaned the back yard as well as the path taken to haul limbs to the street with a mini tractor. Unexpected but appreciated, especially when it was time to cut the lawn. Edit: day this was posted, sales rep called me and he and a couple folks came out that day to correct the issue. At the end of the day, I do recommend this company. They are willing to work with your price range and your concerns. Original post: Sales guy was VERY knowledgeable about trees and impressed me with details of what would be done and gave me a fair price. Overall, the work they did was fine and they cleaned up the site nicely, I just I don't believe the workers did "exactly" what I was told would be done, which I'll get to later in this review. First, I want to mention was that I was kind of off put that I looked out the window and the workers were in my neighbor's yard cutting their trees instead of focusing on my project. Is it normal to get other sales while ON a job? I feel like my project could have been done faster if the workers I hired were focused on the task at hand. Back to the project - I had 2 buckthorns in the backyard that I was told the roots would be grinded out. They just cut them at the stump. They said if we grind it, it can damage the roots of the trees so they "recommend" not to. Then why did the sales guy and all the other sales people from the other companies I had quote me say they would grind out the roots? After they left I noticed they didn't even cut the stumps low to the ground (pics below). 4 more buckthorns by the garage were supposed to be grinded out and a mulberry bush by the shed was supposed to be dug out. The buckthorns were just dug out .. they said the grinder they brought was too big and the smaller one is broken and they ordered a new part last week. If the tool they needed was broken, why did they schedule to come on this particular day? The mulberry bush was just cut and they said they can't dig out the stump because it's too close to the water lines (again, then why was it sold to me that the stump/roots would be dug? And why did the other companies say they'd dig it out...). I could have called the sales guy to ask questions, but wanted to avoid any uncomfortable situations so just left it as is. read more

This company delivers. How often do you have to remove a 50ft tree and a number of 25ft pines, not often. Looking through Yelp and took a leap of faith. These guys came out and gave an estimate the day I called, showed up 20 minutes early on the day of tree removal and finished the job by removing and cleaning up after themselves like I would have done myself. This was the start of returning an elderly family members yes to to its former glory and I am grateful for the help done the right way.
