No customer service at all. Treat their customers poorly could only imagine how they treat their employees. Constant missed pick up and no clear answers as to when they will pick up. Wish there was another service we could use. Would give zero stars if that was an option. read more

Terrible Service. Out trash was not picked up on Thursday 12/5 as scheduled. I called the office Friday morning before 9 am. At first, I was told "they would pick it up the following week. "I expressed that that would not be acceptable as a solution as both containers were full, and that we would be having company this weekend for a funeral service on Monday. Then the office worker said, "Oh, I see your route will be handled today." Called back at 1:00pm to share it still hadn't been picked up. New woman on phone said "if it wasn't picked up by 3pm to call back and they would submit a request. " I asked if she could please submit the request now and explained our situation. "No" " Call back if not picked up 3:00PM" Terrible service. 3:20pm called and first woman said she would submit the request. The garbage was NEVER picked up. We have people coming in from out of the country who have never been to our home. Nice first impression! Nice impression of America's business ethics and service. I will not pay for service we did not receive. This is not the first time either. Will be expecting a credit, and will definitely be looking for another provider. read more

Good morning, and it is Friday. I have been using County Waste Management for over 20 yrs. We have been waiting for a pickup now since Monday and -- NO PICKUP! I have been calling the company everyday now to ask what the hold up was? No one can tell me anything. I asked to speak with their boss -- he wasn't in, but I left a message anyway. The next day, after speaking with the receptionist, she told me that she'd look into it and have someone get back to me? No word came. I spoke with a gentleman Thursday and Friday, who said he would get back in touch with his dispatcher and to find out what was going on. I also got the same answer as on Tuesday from him. No satisfaction. I think it is time for a change, unfortunately and will be signing up a new company. This is definitely, poor customer service. regardless of their internal problems. We were customers for 10 years with no complaints. Always paid on time and tipped our drivers. In August 2019, the truck left a huge oil stain with tire marks leaving the driveway. This stain will not go away and we are now looking at an expensive re-sealing project to fix the driveway as it is right outside our door. Not only is County refusing to compensate us to correct the stain, but they were EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. I called multiple times with no call back or help and sent emails/photos (at their request) with no reply. Then we terminated our contract but continued to be charged for service we were not receiving! This company is fine - until you have a problem! read more

WORST TRASH PICK UP COMPANY EVER! My family has used this company for years, and it has been horrible. Firstly, they ditched their garbage truck in the front yard, causing the grass to be all torn up. They said they would fix it - they never did. Secondly, THEY DIDN'T COME FOR 2 WEEKS. Every year, after a large party, they we request a special pick up so the trash doesn't smell. This year, they didn't come. We called every day asking them to come - they still didn't come! Then they didn't come on their normal pick up time! We kept calling and calling for days to no avail. At one point, they said that our gate made it so they couldn't pick up our trash. WE'VE NEVER HAD A GATE EVER! Unbelievable. Now, I just got home to find that trash was strewn all over my driveway - immediately following their normal pick up time. DISGUSTING! I recently chose county waste as my garbage company when they were soliciting in our neighborhood. The price was right so I joined and canceled my other service with Star disposal. Everything was great for a few months up until today. The truck picked up everyone on my street who are customers of county waste except mine. I called right away and 20 minutes later I spoke to a nice dispatcher. She told me she was going to have them come pick up my garbage today. Hours later still no garbage pick up! It's now Friday evening after 6pm so when I called back to inquire I can't talk to anyone. I left a detailed message with my complaint. Their customer service must be lacking since there is no follow up. They must tell customers what they want to hear. I will definitely be going back to my previous garbage company. Its not fair customers pay for a service and it's not delivered. Horrible experience! In my opinion it's worth a few extra dollars to guarantee your garbage is picked up. read more

So, since it's dark when the kids have to be up at the bus stop, I drove them up our long shared driveway. While we were waiting for the bus, this garbage truck comes and sits with turn signal on, so I pull out to let him in (even though the bus is due any second). He pulls in, bus comes, I turn around and pull to the top of the hill and see he's sitting in a driveway, so I drive down the hill. I'm in a Mazda, with FWD only. He pulls out of the driveway, RIGHT out of the driveway, and stops. I stop in front of him, seeing as he's right outside the drive; all he has to do is back in again. I'd have to reverse a good 500' on icy, hilly road. The road is icy and I only have FWD, as I said. I could easily slide down the slope directly into the road and be hit by somebody coming up the other hill. He got out of the truck and came up to my car and was YELLING AT ME for not backing up 500'. He could have just backed into the driveway again. I don't need to be yelled at by some lazy ass garbageman on MY (private) road at 6:30 in the morning and be ordered to back up. Then, as I was backing up, he kept the truck no more than 6-10' in front of me the whole time. I guess he wasn't concerned about it being icy anymore at that point. The house they were servicing isn't even legally allowed to use this road, so technically, he was trespassing. We let our neighbors use it as a courtesy, as it's a shorter route to the main road. However, being treated this way by this guy causes me to want to report them for trespassing the next time. read more
