I am a senior and a veteran and I do not feel this firm represented me in my best interests or to…read morethe best of their ability. When I first interviewed them, I was concerned that my divorce involved inheritance monies that I had placed in a joint account, thinking my wife and I would be together until the end. Matt told me that there was a new district court looking for cases like mine, that his firm could handle it, and that they had the right attorney for the job. The attorney assigned was Peter Sekulic who did not perform well at all. Communication with me was poor and when he and the opposing counsel went to court for a mediation hearing, the judge asked why we were there. He admonished both counselors for wasting the court's time, and asked why the attorneys hadn't communicated about the case on the phone. I had an11th hour meeting with Sekulic, just before the scheduled court date, and both he and Matt talked me into a settlement that was not in my best interest! To top it off, he told me that the other attorney made an error in a calculation and that I had 18k I could take out of that account. This was not the case. Had this meeting happened sooner, I could have recouped that money. They also did not want to help me obtain the quit claim deed, which was part of the divorce settlement, and I had to fight with them to finally get that. So it's a big fat no here for Men's Rights! The girls in the office were all great. It's too bad the attorneys were not!

She takes all your money and then ghosts you. never responds to emails or phone calls. she completely screwed over my case when I had evidence and witnesses. she refused to call in one of my key witnesses and then when things weren't going my way she said "I told you so". she didn't read through any of my paperwork and didn't fight, object, nothing. she was so unprepared. I lost and she's the reason why. DO NOT go with them.

Linda, the female half of this group, 2 times in one year we spoke on the phone, both times she was short with me, would not let me explain and kept cutting me off insisting that if I was going to keep cutting her off she'd disconnect the call. Absolutely refused to listen to me and my concerns. Sent DOZENS of emails with no response. Absolutely not professional in anyway. Herb, the other half, as nice as a guy as he is, he also bumbled his way through the court sessions we did have. My ex who has NO LAWYER, got literally everything she wanted. The Judge, Judge Swift, very clearly has an issue with men, the most egregious example I can give is my EX filed an injunction on me Dec 2022, she claimed I abused my child, there was a DCF report done the month before which was closed because there WAS NO ABUSE. Once I got that report, I let these 2 know, Herb and I went to court March/April of 23 along WITH A DCF CASE WORKER, the Judge LAUGHED at ME and the LAWYER asking us WHY DCF was there and what RELEVANCE they had to this case when the WHOLE REASON my EX got the injunction was claims of ABUSE, the DCF report PROVED there WAS NO ABUSE. Herb just kind of shrugged it off like it was no big deal. I feel this was HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE on the Judges part and asked my lawyer to address it and they just completely ignored it. I question what did I really get for my money? I get my youngest daughter every other weekend, which is great, but it shouldn't have taken ALL OF this back and forth considering it was based on a LIE and a LIE that I could PROVE was a lie. My ex is still failing to comply with court ordered therapy for my oldest daughter, to which I filed a contempt on my own as my lawyers have withdrawn from the case which is why I am leaving this review, which I know have to do without them. I got nothing substantial for the money I paid and I am highly disappointed in these lawyers.
