When I first interviewed them, I was concerned that my divorce involved inheritance monies that I had placed in a joint account, thinking my wife and I would be together until the end. Matt told me that there was a new district court looking for cases like mine, that his firm could handle it, and that they had the right attorney for the job. The attorney assigned was Peter Sekulic who did not perform well at all. Communication with me was poor and when he and the opposing counsel went to court for a mediation hearing, the judge asked why we were there. He admonished both counselors for wasting the court's time, and asked why the attorneys hadn't communicated about the case on the phone. I had an11th hour meeting with Sekulic, just before the scheduled court date, and both he and Matt talked me into a settlement that was not in my best interest! To top it off, he told me that the other attorney made an error in a calculation and that I had 18k I could take out of that account. This was not the case. Had this meeting happened sooner, I could have recouped that money. They also did not want to help me obtain the quit claim deed, which was part of the divorce settlement, and I had to fight with them to finally get that. So it's a big fat no here for Men's Rights! The girls in the office were all great. It's too bad the attorneys were not!
