I came last week to do my laundry and it was already 9pm, but I had just left work when I arrived. I started to pile all $6.00 in quarters into the machine hurriedly so I wasn't asking them to stay open late or leaving with wet clothes, but I didn't notice someone had shut the machine door causing it to start without my clothes being loaded into it. I knocked on the door of the service counter with no response & I searched the entire store for an employee with no luck. I waited a while and then realized I was probably not going to see an employee to get my money back, so I left. Fast forward through the week of wearing dirty clothes because I work 70 hours/week and do mechanic work in the side. Same day of the week, same time frame I enter and look around for an employee for a good 5 mins and knocking on the door to the customer service room to get a refund for last week, but of course nobody answers and nobody around. I start my laundry knowing I have to use the $6 speed washer to get my clones dry before they close and now I'm standing there waiting for the washing machine to stop spinning as I've actively watched it saying 1 minute remaining for 6 minutes straight, so I'm opening the handle and resetting it every second or two hoping the machine is glitching out and the handle might cancel this never ending 6 minute "1 minute remaining" spin cycle to end when a lady opens the entrance door and starts telling me rudely (before she's even through the doorway) to "stop trying to pull the door open", so I say "do you work here" & she smugly remarks "as a matter of fact I do". So I tell her what's happening and tell her about last week and that I wanted my money back from last week, but the lady so so stuck in her head about the door that she stands right in my face continuously repeating herself "I told you to stop trying to pull the door open when machines running" & I finally say "shut up and go get my money or I'll show you what it looks like if I were to try pulling the door open. She gets right in my face like I can't understand her dumbass and said she say outside watching me trying to pry the door open. I told her if she says another word to me other than "here's your referring sir" I'm going on Yelp to leave the worst review, & I'm filing a formal complaint with the manager. I bet you can't guess what stuck on stupid had to say in response..... You guessed it. "I'm not going to tell you again not to pull on the door when the machine is running. So I demand her name, which is supposed Errrrmmmaaaaaa because it took her about 15 seconds to pronounce it from start to finish. Needless to say, my clothes didn't stop spinning for that entire 10 minute ordeal, so I just started opening the handle and shutting again hoping to break the cycle which to my surprise actually worked the first time I tried it after arguing with someone with the intellect of a feline right after suffering a grand mal seizure.
Not only did I have to leave with wet clothes, but I didn't get my refund. I'm going back tomorrow to speak with a manager & I'm filling a formal complaint again ERRRRMMMMMAAAAA.
This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever endured. I'm a 15 year customer service industry worker and I would have lost my job for behaving with the insolence she displayed.
Truly a pathetic wait to treat people. read more
