From paint nites, baby showers, photo and video shoots, art exhibitions, and a pop-up shop, this place can accommodate all and every type of event. It is also a beautiful co-working space offering free coffee and snacks and is steps away from the Barclays Center and Atlantic Avenue train station. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was on site for many of the events, a rarity in Brooklyn, as she gave me a rundown of the space and explained its an inclusive space for everyone. You can't help but be mesmerized by the red storefront color that pops out at you as you walk down Atlantic Ave. I'm impressed! Can't wait to see what other fun events they have coming up as I am definitely looking forward to stopping by again and again.

Everyone was polite. The vendors were so nice/ kind/knowledgeable about their products and giving. The venue was good on how every vendor had plenty of space. They had little sitting areas. Bathrooms were clean. Elevators available for whomever needed them. The event hall was perfect for the expo. Seem as if the event planners thought out everything. Look forward to going to more events at this event hall.

There's plenty of space for the sponsors to set up tables and talk to the runners and their families. The most memorable visit for me was meeting the GEICO Gecko! I didn't get my photo with him but if you look at my old profile pictures I met up with him again later. I was my daughter's biggest fan going with her to all her races. After a few years she quit running to my disappointment. This venue is still a great place to create happy memories. Maybe I'll see my running friend Thomas here soon. We did not move forward with Events at Stone Park due solely to the behavior and response times of their Event Coordinator. I wish I had seen a review like this one before I got my hopes up. The space, the food, and the budget all worked for us. The only reason this is not 1 star is because it wouldn't be fair since we did not end up holding our event here. If you'd like to know all the in and out details here we go: I feel I gave the coordinator Barbara a lot of grace - this is an insane time for the restaurant and event industry and people in general - but ultimately I couldn't continue pursuing an event with her in charge. I reached out via email - no response for 10 days I followed up - she responded I reached out again - she didn't respond for 7 days I followed up again- she responded, apologized, gave me info, and said she'd get in touch with me again shortly with her availability for a meeting 2 weeks pass I follow up again - she responded with no acknowledgement of the time gap We schedule an in person walk through - she emailed saying she'd be a few minutes late. After 15 minutes I emailed her back letting her know we were waiting in front of the event space. After 30 minutes of waiting we knocked on the door of the restaurant space and there she was inside. No apology. It was baffling why she didn't look for us at the event space - we realized then that we had seen her walk by 15 minutes before, laptop in hand. Because it bears repeating I'll repeat - she never apologized. She only hurriedly said she left her phone in an uber and then rushed us through the meeting. It was obvious that she was not taking us seriously. She was patronizing. She seemed amused that I had brought a list of questions on my phone to ask. The only positive to give is that she knew something about the space. I came to the appointment happy to give it a chance (even if she was running a few minutes late), and I left angry and insulted. 3 days later she reaches out, apologizes lightly for being late, and asks if we have questions. 5 days later I email her for a sample contract as she had mentioned in our meeting. I've never heard from her since. We are now working with a different local place.

The staff was so easy to work with and were beyond accommodating when it came to customizing our event menu; not to mention went above and beyond to create special dishes for our guests with strict dietary restrictions. We just enjoyed an 8-day Summit with Gary's Loft as our venue - 32 global peace-making teens and 32…read moreglobal mentors and 32'ish other global team members and facilitators - making use of floor 11 and 12 (Penthouse) and occasionally the Rooftop (opening and closing ceremony days) - and wow - we all came away rejuvenated and smiling. For an event this long and this intense and with this many people - it is hard to find a "perfect space" in nyc. We have been hosting this annual event since 2008, and while it is true, no place is ever absolutely perfect (nor does it really have to be) - this place totally rocked. Large. Spacious. Clean. White walls (great for photos and videos). Bright. Beautiful ambience and decorations (almost like spending a week in someone's nifty home - with kitchen and library and family room and even laundry room decor and furniture). Trendy. Aiccessible (even for this power wheelchair user). Safe and secure. Well-staffed (with friendly folks - who allowed our teens a bit of bonus access to the rooftop on a lovely day - st no extra charge, but it provided them and a needed mid-week recharge during intensely long work days. Front door desk assistance. Working elevators. Space for us to bring in "a full kitchen" (really - 3 meals and 2 snacks home cooked each day by our team - representing global cuisine across the week!). And so much more... (including the nifty convenience of being just steps from our host hotel - Executive Le Soleil! Yes, there are a few tweakable this-and-thats I could offer. But those are more the type of things that our team and the Gary's Loft team can consider and tend to for future events (2020 Just Peace Summit - only 11 1/2 months away!).
