I would might go back to Plattsburg just to drive around to see the many, many historic homes, predominantly fancy Victorian style. But I'd eat at a different restaurant. The architectural treasures may be a well-kept secret, as none of us homes-tour-and-historic-architecture junkies knew about them or about Plattsburg's rich history before learning of the tour. Ask someone there what was discovered about one of their famous, never married, supposedly childless forefathers at the town's first big reunion when many ancestors got together!
