What an amazing property with an outstanding staff. My girlfriend and I visited over Valentine's Day weekend. Where routes 78 and 33 meet, the location serves as the gateway to the Lehigh Valley. Although the property will undergo a renovation, the hotel is clean, well-kempt, and welcoming. It's clear that the entire staff takes care of this place from top to bottom. At the front desk, you may meet Danny who is kind, professional, and helpful. I may not have had the chance to meet the other team members (from front desk personnel to housekeeping), but they all worked well together and there were smiles all around. That makes for one amazing group of people who care about what they do -- and it shows. Mark was the bartender our two nights at the property. He makes an excellent gin martini as well as a cosmopolitan. Like Danny, he's kind, helpful, and pleasant, and he served our meals at the bistro. Although one must pay for breakfast (served in the bistro), the hotel does have quiet hours, which only made our weekend even more special. Room was freezing when entered with the curtains blowing because the window was open. Heat didn't work, and when I called the desk. I was pleasantly told to turn it off for 15 minutes for the heat to reset or they could call someone in. I knew that could take a long time, and was not offered a change of room. During the night, I woke up 3 times to turn on the heat. When I informed another pleasant desk attendant in morning, he informed me that this happens in some of the rooms but would "make a note." In other words, it seems to be a brushed off and I was not compensated for a very poor nights sleep. read more

Typical stay. Room was ready at check-in when we arrived. Friendly staff. Free parking. Breakfast was NOT free. Pricing was about $15.00+ for adults and half of that price for children. Televisions in room could use and upgrade. The television picture was very dark and could not be corrected. The volume on the tv randomly turned extremely loud at every commercial. You try to turn it down, you are unable to hear the movie when the commercial ended. The guy working at the bar Saturday night made great wings. Stay as expected. Small issues. read more

I stayed here for the past weekend for part of my birthday celebrations. The hotel needs some renovations. I noticed there was lots of scratches and damage in the room. It was also really dark. No overhead lighting in the room. Carpet looked old in the hallways. The highlight of the my stay was honestly the bartender. She was excellent and friendly. This is the worst Marriott I've ever stayed at. And I've stayed at a lot around the world. I had two rooms here for 6 nights and they didn't clean my them once, even after requested. The guy working the front desk on Sat, June 18, 2023, just laughed at me when I went downstairs to complain. My husband is a Marriott rewards member and will never stay here again. Don't stay here if you want to stay somewhere where they respect your money. I just put the trash and towels out in the hall because I got tired of being inside. So gross. read more

This is a basic Courtyard hotel. Check in was fast and they let us choose which floor we wanted to be on. Our room was a decent size and included a couch, desk, rollout table, and fridge. I wish we also had a microwave. 2 stars because the room was not clean. We found a couple of M&Ms behind the door and a fork and crumbs beside the bed. There were also ants crawling on the desk. The gym was very small: just two treadmills, an elliptical, a bike, and free weights. But the treadmills had TVs, which was a plus. The gym also had a water filter so you could fill up bottles instead of buying bottled water while traveling. The hotel also had a pool. For the most part, it was quiet. There is a Ruby Tuesday's in the same lot so it's convenient to walk to get food if you're in a pinch. read more

Stayed in this Hotel on. 8/23/-8/24. Got a room last minute coming from Dorney park.. Upon entering our room My husband, my Son and I were hit with an overwhelming smell of marajuana & cigarettes. mind you NONE of Us smoke ! We didn't want to complain as we were tired..On checkout I did mention it to lady in front .. My Huband got hit with the incidental charges 300$ .. I immediately called the hotel to speak a manager to explain the situation .I spoke to Tylon a manager who agreed with me .and said he would approve the refund, but it has to go through a Named Bill Kao..So I emailed and phoned several times to No response ! I spoke to another manager named Shanice, who said she would help after looking into my matter she stated there was evidence of weed in the room ! Like WHAT? No one had weed or smokes ever in my life ! Obviously left by previous guest and the room wasn't cleaned properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally outrageous ! On top of this My adult Son is military and didn't even wanna stay in that hotel after the horrendous stink of weed . They are totally unprofessional and uncaring. I feel like they were just looking to put the blame on anyone ! I still have not received a call or email back from the Gm Bill Kao. We will be disputing these charges to full capacity .. Went for an overnight getaway. Was extremely disappointed the bathroom still had a dirty washcloth on top of the shower curtain and the bathroom was freezing literally shivering while doing my makeup. The room itself was cold and never warmed up. And it was Soooo loud in our room all night we were on the first floor and all night long it was nonstop banging. I was really disappointed in the "amenities" of this hotel. Like other Courtyard's (and as listed on their website), I expected there to be a coffee/tea available in the lobby. Also, I was expecting complimentary breakfast (although I later on the website that they don't offer this). Either way, they have a small "cafe" in the lobby that they mention serving breakfast lunch and dinner on their website and in posting throughout the hotel. It has a VERY underwhelming selection for breakfast - think muffins and scones. They also don't provide lunch or dinner. After my long travel day, I got in late and was hoping to pick up something quick at the cafe. Unfortunately, I was told that they only serve only serve drinks in the evening so I ended up having to ubereats dinner. The rooms were very clean and spacious. My main complaint is the food options. They should not be advertising lunch and dinner at the cafe if they don't serve it. read more

Courtyards used to be nice hotels with comfortable beds and nice sheets. This hotel was nice when it first opened but now it is not nice kept. The are carpet stains and dirty sheets and pillows. The towels were horrible, they were paper thin had blood stains and extremely small. The pillows are also small and so uncomfortable. The beds feel like there is a hole in the middle. I can never get a good night sleep and I feel like everything is dirty. read more

We travel a lot due to my son's travel hockey team. We typically stay at Marriotts when available. We like the standards of this restaurant chain and are typically pleased! This location in particular deserves recognition! The staff was beyond friendly! From the front desk staff, housekeeping and bartender! I will also note I have not stayed in a hotel that was this clean in a long time! I failed at taking photos, however I do take notice when there is seriously not a spot of dust on lampshades and NO dust on tops of doors etc. I think this housecleaning staff deserves recognition!!! We were in a nearby town for a baseball tournament. We had a great experience from booking to check out. The hotel manager and staff were all friendly and accommodating. The food at the bistro was delicious. The teenagers had a blast in the pool and played cornhole outside in the garden area. I cannot say a negative thing about this hotel. In town for our friends wedding, so we all were staying here. I have to say every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was near the highways. Not many things in walking distance but there is a shopping plaza not too far away. The lobby was clean and enjoyable to sit in. The lobby had two sections. One section with tables and chairs near the bar. And another section with comfy lounge chairs, couches, and seating. They had books available to read as well as a huge TV to watch. The remote was accessible so you could watch what you'd like. The lobby has a bar/Starbucks. The hotel has breakfast, which is pretty good, for a small cost. They have a beautiful outdoor garden area and an indoor pool The room was spotless. The bathroom was clean. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room had a modern couch. The only thing we found a little odd was the positioning of the TV in the room. It's perfect if you're on the couch, but hard to see if you're in bed. Would come back! read more

Quick note to express gratitude and appreciation for the Engineering team. The big vortex snow dump occurred and when I went to my rental car in the morning expecting a foot of snow on the windows, there was no snow. I stared at the car trying to figure out what happened as it was piling up like monthly bills. I called the hotel and asked if someone removed the snow as it didn't melt naturally at -15F. Yup. The lobby was somewhere you could hang out for hours with a fireplace and bistro. Our room was slightly small but very warm and comfortable with the furniture and decor. The bed was amazing and I was asleep quickly. This hotel is close to a lot of chain restaurants, but we always try local places. Don't cheat yourself, go into town and enjoy it. First time I've ever visited downtown Bethlehem and I can't wait to go back. The casino is a short drive and you can even use the shuttle if you want but we drove. The staff is very good and willing to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. read more

Recently acquired and upgraded hotel. They have all the standard Courtyard amenities, including pool, whirlpool, and gym. Note: breakfast is not included. But you can purchase items at the Biateo between 6-10am. The walls are fairly thin. You can hear your neighbors next door and steps from the room above. The doors are also thin. As you can hear the slamming of other doors, conversations, etc. Housekeeping also starts their rounds around 8am every morning. If you don't want to be bothered, place the tag on your door. The hotel is close to 2 major shopping centers and restaurants. read more

The hotel is definitely a bit dated, but the rooms renovated. There is always a party in the bar - as there are not too many places in walking distance and the Ruby's closes at 10. They stayed open late since we were drinking and paying. As with most Courtyards - a decent breakfast (not free). The bed was comfy and the room clean, plenty of parking, Additionally, the typical tiny fitness room, sundry shop, etc. I'm bummed as my Marriott Rewards card couldn't be run (not a limit issue) so I couldn't get my bonus points for staying....boo hoo. read more

After my last hotel review (see Radisson in Happaugue) I was so afraid of what we would be getting once we checked in. We have stayed at other Marriot locations before and this is definitely one of the nicer ones we've been too. The lobby is modern and inviting. There is a small cafe/bar (which also services Starbucks), a business center (which you can use for free), and lots of seating (including lounge chairs in front of the TV and fireplace. There is also a small market near the front desk selling food, beer and toiletries. The room was clean with a nice sofa, desk and desk chair small end table and ottoman. There was a mini fridge (no need to call and request one) and a coffee maker in the room. Bathroom was big (for hotel bathroom) and clean. After our last horrifying stay at the Radisson I looked everything over 3 times and could not find anything "dirty" or wrong with the room. They have a pool and a hot tub(!!!) which we used after some (ok... a lot) of wine at the bar. The area was clean and totally empty at 10pm on a Friday evening. There is also a fitness center. They also have a big seating area, with a covered deck/gazebo seating in the back accessible from the pool area. All of the staff we interacted with was pleasant and friendly... 5 stars to the bartender (no wimpy pours from this guy). The food was surprisingly good at the cafe. They serve everything from a quick breakfast sandwich to ribs and potatoes in the evening. The only reason why I did not rate the hotel 5 stars is because the bar area closes at 11. The area is pretty dead at night and having a place to relax and have a drink late night would be nice. read more

Other places to eat around, or find a place that offers it. For a higher end place I find it odd because the the quality of the food is not good at all for $13. I stayed up here last weekend for a weekend long event. I really liked it here. I wanted a clean, quiet, conveniently located place to stay. Check, check, and check. The staff was very friendly and this place is within walking distance of several restaurants. If you need a place to stay up here then why bother looking anywhere else. Here's my nitpick list -- They have a little hotel shop and $7 for a bottle if beer is kinda steep. The hotel pool is only 4 ft deep, bummer. Their "normal" rate is pretty exhorbant -- make sure you look for a discount code. Whereas I'm thinking "free breakfast" theirs is $12 and doesn't open until 7am. So bring your own snacks (including breakfast), don't bring a swimsuit, and look for discounts and you're good to go. read more

Been here a few times and have always had a good stay for corporate meetings. Clean rooms, good breakfast and a bar that opens in the evening. Area for computers and printers to help do some last minute arrangements. Great Staff. Local restaurants in the area and not a lot of road noise. read more

Great hotel, convenient to I-78 and very close to the city of Bethlehem. Room was very cozy, bed very comfortable and priced right! Lots of Uber's to take you to and from town, and many places to eat close by the hotel.. Oh, and if you fall down and go boom, St. Luke's hospital is right across the street as well lol.. The bistro employees were very courteous and professional in the morning when I ordered my morning cups of Joe. All in all, great stay and very comfy. Highly Recommended Marriott! read more

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Courtyard in Bethlehem, PA. I did get a room initially that made a weird noise (possibly the air conditioner fan located on the roof?) but they changed it right away. Yes, it is right next to the highway but I didn't really have an issue with noise. My daughter really enjoyed the indoor pool and it was generally clean all-around. They also have restaurants nearby so it's a great place for families to stay. And if you are visiting Crayola, it's about 10-15 min drive. read more

Surprisingly better than expected. Very clean everywhere including carpets in hallways. Bathrooms were well lit and up to date. Amenities in bathrooms were lame but I bring my own toiletries anyway. Pillows were typically tiny. That is a negative. Great multi item charger bedside required no outlet. I want one of these things. It was a radio, nightlight, USB port mini charger port. I'm a long-time Marriott loyalist. 2019-pre-COVID I spent over 150 nights in Marriott hotels. I stay with Marriott because usually their service and hotels are impeccable. Clean and comfortable. However, this one is HORRIBLE. At first glance, it seems fine. However, I'm posting pictures of the bathroom. It is DISGUSTING. Like something you may find at a side-of-the-road roach motel. These pictures are after I has already scrubbed it down with my own Clorox I brought. I now have it currently soaking in its second bath of Clorox. The shower curtain is covered in mold, mildew and stains- I thought the cloth curtains were supposed to be changed between guests per COVID protocol. THIS ONE WAS NOT. Then I pull back the sheets and curly black hairs EVERYWHERE!!!! I've now sprayed down the beds in Lysol. We'd leave but we stopped here due to an emergency situation so we're here for at least the night. I'm so upset and FREAKED out. We have a medically fragile child who does not need to be exposed to germs because the hotel staff doesn't care or clean or do their jobs. Do better, Marriott! Do better! read more

The only reason why I would stay here is because the client has a special rate with the hotel. Currently staying here, but not getting much rest. The AC/Heat system is so noisy it wakes me up every time it goes off each night. One night the power went off in the hotel and there was a poor unfortunate person who was stuck in the elevator. The patrons were telling the person at the front desk that this happened and her response was, "the general manager is coming in and he will know what to do about it." So the patron called the fire department about the situation, since the person in who was supposed to run the hotel at that time apparently was not up to the task. I have to return here and stay another time for my client, but not sure if it would get better. BTW the only reason why I did not give one star was the staff that attends the people for breakfast, they are really good and attentive, they deserve better management to work for. read more

This Courtyard Marriott is pretty new (I can tell just simply by the decor since I travel so much). The staff is prompt and friendly, although when we asked about extra sheets for the pull out sofa, they did mention where we'd be able to find it in the room, however there was only a blanket; no sheets, no extra pillows. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and it was in a convenient location for us. read more

Very comfortable, good location-, at least for some shopping : ) , with Best Buy, Barnes and Noble, Bed Bath, and Lowes all right next door. Rooms are very quiet, didnt hear a noise in halls or anywhere. Beds are comfy, rooms are bit smaller is a downside. , Also, breakfast not included which was a bummer- but I had a great omlet and buffet for $10.95. Stayed here for NYE 2013 into 2014. I have always been a Marriott fan and this hotel has further secured my loyalty with the Marriott group. The free NYE shuttle service to Sands Casino was the main reason I chose to book. The employee operating the shuttle that night, Ryan was beyond wonderful. He was courteous, on time, attentive, and I found it to be extremely gracious that he spent his NYE driving others around so they could ring in the new year safe and happy.The front desk staff were all extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. A clean & polished lobby, warm decor, proper and spacious rooms, Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner provided (a nice change from the junky stuff), quick and easy access off of I-78, and a value greater than the price you pay all make the Courtyard by Marriott I-78 the only place I will chose upon my next visit to Bethlehem. [I have only removed one star because it is extremely important to me that a hotel is pet-friendly. If this place welcomed pets, the fifth star would be undoubtedly added.] read more

We stayed here after snow tubing at Camelback. The hotels closer were high priced and I was thinking we would be really tired after the tubing and not wanting to drive all the way home. This hotel is about 35 minutes from the mountain but the ride goes fast. There are also restaurants in the area so this turned out to be a good choice. I don't know if I would stay there if I would be going back and forth to the Poconos. The hotel was very nice. A small bistro serves food and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If staying in this area I would surely stay here again. Great hotel. Very comfortable beds. read more

Staff was so friendly! Gentleman that checked us in at night was so kind and thoughtful! Bartender was equally as kind and the other staff in the lobby very helpful. From offering a roll out bed, to carrying our luggage and offering a table for my drink while I read my book in the lobby to comping my drink when it was the end of the bottle. They all had smiles and were a pleasure to be around. The hotel was clean and fresh looking. We will stop here on our next road trip. Also, easy access off the highway! read more

I've never complained abt being in any Marriott. But this is definitely not a pleasant experience I leave with. Victor at the front desk spoke with such 'hostility' that it's unbelievable if I heard it from someone else about a 'Marriott chain of hotels'. Pointing fingers, walking away while being spoke to, telling me off that his supervisor spoke abt the situation to him.. Maybe a little more training in service and humility might do you some good. Was working @ Easton Hospital for a couple of weeks. This is a newer and very nice Courtyard. Always greeted as a Platinum member and always upgraded. Rooms are clean and beds comfy. Check in was efficient. Price was around $125 read more
