Clean clean clean.... from the moment you walk in this place smells clean. The furniture was colorful and updated to suite the color coordination of the room and hotel. Dawn at the front desk is knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Great place to stay!

Short Version: Very affordable hotel with good offerings, clean rooms, and good service from the staff. Everything was functioning properly, and despite the really-odd elevator placement, I'd definitely come back. Pros: -Gorgeous lobby. Lots of seating to take advantage of as well as a nice TV. Definitely gives a pleasant first impression of the hotel. -Fantastic staff. I mean, fantastic. I was checked in within minutes and checkout was just as painless. At 1 AM when I was pretty hungry and feeling it, I came downstairs to see what food/vending would be available. There wasn't any milk in their market cafe, but the staff at the hotel desk was happy to let me purchase some of the milk from the closed diner area instead. She was really nice about it too. (Her great service is what pushed this from a 4 star to a 5 star) -Room was good. We had a 2 Queen Bed. Decent amount of space and everything was clean and picked up upon check-in. The room looked great and pretty modern. Lots of full-sized towels (4 or 5 I think?). -Prices were very reasonable. $79 a night on a Saturday night while a King-only would have been $69 a night. -Awesome-looking view of The Lodge hotel that's right next door (looks gorgeous but Yelp tells me that it's not such a great place to stay). -Pool and gym area are nice and clean. Pool is pretty small - almost too small to really "swim" for any fitness purposes but kids seemed to love it. It starts feeling crowded after 4 to 6 people, though - small. The hot tub was very warm and clean as well. The gym area, for some reason, was carpeted. Couldn't figure out why. They had free weights, two treadmills, and an elliptical. Nothing too expansive, but it worked. The machines worked perfectly and had those television fixtures on them to entertain yourself as well. Small room, so the fitness area feels a bit cramped if you're here with other guests from the hotel. Washcloths were provided in the gym area while the pool area had full-size towels. -According to signage, the fitness area is open 24/7. Pool and fitness area require your room key to get in. -The downstairs diner/bar/breakfast service serves Starbucks coffee. They don't have a full menu (no frappes, etc.), but they have more than just black coffee. When we came back from our event near midnight, they were still happy to make coffee or any of the food or drinks for us as well, so I imagine this service area has a pretty wide range of open hours. -There are outdoor chaise chairs for lounging/tanning/etc. Cons: -Elevator is in a REALLY weird place. I'm used to the elevator being right off the lobby. It isn't. You check in then have to walk through half of the hotel to get to the elevator. Really weird elevator placement - and frustrating if you're checking in and didn't expect to have to carry your luggage quite so far. -Entrance to the parking lot has a steep "bump" on it. It won't damage your car or bottom it out, but it's uncomfortable to drive on. -The downstairs eating area boasts "cocktails" for purchase. As far as I can tell, their menu had a single cocktail drink available - for $8. -There are no vending machines in this hotel. They have a small market/convenience food area near the front desk that you can buy things at, but as you can imagine, it's much more expensive than a vending machine. This is odd because they definitely have vendor service - you can see the vending machines clearly in the staff lounge from the front of the building. -Some things in the room weren't working. One of the bedside outlets was dead (which is where they assume you'll plug in a phone, so that was frustrating). The mini fridge also wasn't plugged in for some odd reason, so we spent a long time trying to figure out why nothing was chilled. Would definitely stay here again without any qualms and would happily recommend it to others. If it was more expensive, I might not be as wow'ed, but for the price, this was a fantastic value and feels closer to a nice business hotel. I'm impressed. (Note: It looks like some of the Yelp photos may have been taken before a renovation. The rooms and hotel look a lot more modern and crisp now)

I had my wedding & reception at the Abbey Station last Summer. We were very happy with the customer…read moreservice. Tonja, Al & Colleen were so helpful in planning our event. The price for rental of the venue was cheaper than most places and included all tables, chairs & linens (minus chair covers). The only downside is that you have to use their caterer (Bridges Catering) and buy alcohol from their bar. Our guests were very happy with the food and said it was some of the best wedding food they have had (pasta buffet). We had a very tight budget and they were willing to help us find the best selection for the price. We also held our wedding here to save some money. It was neat having the trains in the background. Luckily none came through while we held our ceremony. There is a covered place to have the wedding if you are planning something small. We had about 50 guests and it was pretty tight. My only complaint was the service on the night of the reception. The people they have working didn't offer any refills on water and didn't offer the coffee that we paid for. Some of the guests told me later that it took awhile for them to clear the tables. Other than that, this was a great place for a wedding. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a unique reception or needs a place that will fall into a tight budget.

I had to find a new venue and caterer a month before the wedding. Mr. Lemon refused to answer any of our calls. Absolutely would not recommend. This was a nightmare.
