    Car was broken into outside the hotel in the parking lot. Front desk was very little help. Thankfully nothing was stolen.

    Beware!! My car was broken into when staying here. AND the car NEXT TO MINE TOO. Two broken windows were laying on the floor like in the picture. Thankfully I had nothing valuable inside, but my day was wasted trying to find a quick replacement window. The front desk was very little help with the situation, and said the manager was off duty so they couldn't help. I had to call Marriott corporate instead.

    This is the nasty breakfast they tried to give us instead of what we paid for.

    Horrible Experience. I booked through Hotels.com and booked a King size bed with a sofa bed. When we arrived, they said no kings were available and they gave us a double queen. I wasn't happy but I had a party to get to so I obliged. When we entered the room it was balmy hot. They had only the fan on. I turned down the AC & turned both units on. We left for the party, hoping by the time we returned, the room would be cool--nope. The room never got below 72°. I can't sleep in any temperature above 68°. It was a one night stay and I just wanted it to be over. We paid for breakfast through Hotels.com, but when my husband went down, he was told we needed to pay for it. He informed them that we did & I sent him the receipt with breakfast. They lady was extremely rude and told my husband she wasn't arguing with anyone about no breakfast. Now, if you knew my husband, you'd know he is not an argumentative person. Me, on the other hand, would have probably went off on her & left her in shambles. The overall stay was miserable. We smelled weed and smoke in the hallways and there is no such thing as customer service. For what we received, we could have stayed at a trash dump for free & gotten better service. I don't recommend this place at all.

They also had caesar salads plated at the end. There was a delicious charcuterie spread on a separate table as well as a scrumptious dessert table. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive, clearing empty plates prompty and checking in on drinks/refills. We had a microphone set up too to announce awards and everything flowed smoothly, all were in a good mood. This event was a hit. It is a simple venue with adequately spaced tables and chairs. The decor is likely up to the renter. We had heavy hors d'oeuvres. What I ate was delicious, and I fondly recall the flavors of the tiny crab cakes. The dessert bar was ample, and the few I enjoyed were delightful. Service was excellent, as they kept the food bar stocked throughout the evening. We had a cash bar in the back that was popular amongst the guests. The venue is appropriate for weddings and other parties. We stayed indoors because it was a cold night. It is conveniently located in Huntersville, next to the emergency animal hospital. The only question left to ask is, what is the cost?

    This hotel and their management caused me a great deal of stress. I had two rooms booked for this…read moreweekend and they would not let me authorize my card and allow two of my staff members to stay there. I do hotels virtually every weekend, some 100+ a year for my organization and never heard of such nonsense before. I said just send me a credit card authorization form and they said we don't do that. Absolutely laughable. Was forced to cancel my hotel rooms and have more stress finding a different hotel last minute in the same evening. Unbelievable.

After attempting to connect over two days, I contacted the front desk and was informed that this particular room was known to have connectivity issues. That meant the issue had been documented prior to my arrival, yet the room was still assigned without disclosure. When I requested to be moved, I was told the hotel was sold out. The response I received was repeated apologies, but no proactive service recovery or alternative solution. Additionally, the bathroom sink drained at the speed of molasses. Water pooled in the basin and residue built up because it did not drain properly. While neither issue alone was catastrophic, together they reflected preventable maintenance and service gaps. This was not about streaming being essential. It was about paying full rate for a room with known deficiencies and not being informed upfront. Transparency and thoughtful service recovery matter, especially for loyal (Platinum Elite) guests. For a newer property, this can be an opportunity to revisit internal communication and service recovery training early. Assigning rooms with documented issues and defaulting to apologies instead of solutions was something that could and should have been corrected.

Her name is Brigette, she was the best part of what was overall great service by everyone we encountered. We were able to get checked in quite early (not at 9:30 AM when we got there but earlier than the normal 3pm). Brigette remembered our names, chatted with her everyday. We now try to only use the digital key option. Upon opening our room door we noticed a slight musty smell. As we began to unload our suitcases my wife began her ritual of wiping down hard surfaces with cleaning wipes and she immediately noticed that the wipes were removing a light layer of dust. Neither of us could remember another time where we actually wiped dust off of hard surfaces in another Hilton property. The bedding appeared to be fine but our experience made us leery of the overall cleanliness of the room. Over the course of the night we noticed that the details of the room were dingy. The dish containing the soap and shampoos was clearly dirty, the carpet needed steam cleaned and the desk chair was dusty and had clearly not been wiped down with any frequency. The room was quiet and the bed and bedding were really comfortable, which did help us get a good nights rest. Not sure if we just happened upon a dingy room or if this is a consistent theme throughout this particular hotel. When we find ourselves in need of a hotel in Charlotte again we will look for other Hilton properties rather than this one.
