Clean rooms, friendly staff, great recommendations. Our family enjoyed our stay here. Next to Accor stadium and across street from Gare de Lyon. Fantastic bakeries nearby and close to the Seine so you can walk to many things in the other side of the river if you need to. We had a family room that had a sofa that turned into a comfortable bed. The bathrooms were roomy. The tub was elevated which is something I had never seen before. Great to bathe kids but tricky for adults if you are elderly. Restaurant on site which we didn't get to try. But it looked really nice and had a big bar. On Sundays they have a big brunch that looked appetizing based on the flyer in the elevator. We stayed on the 10th floor and the view was wonderful.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Buffet is fantastic! Views from room are jaw dropping. Metro is steps from hotel and fantastic restaurants near by. We really enjoyed staying here and grateful it was available however I feel an obligation to tell my fellow spoiled elite reward members to be prepared for no extras like room upgrades or breakfast being included.

Great hotel + great location when visiting Paris + wanting to see the sights! Right off the GARE DE LYON train station which gives you access to every major sight and very easy to use! Rooms are great and clean. That's a plus. Area is filled with restaurants for late night eats and typical breakfast cafes for the A.M. The hotel staff is very nice, HOWEVER, there needs to be a better way to do check ins. We have arrive after a long overnight flight from the US (Los Angeles) we checked in way before check in time. We were told our room wasn't available but to try back around 12. No big deal. However we come back at 12 only to see tons and tons of people waiting to check in! The hotel needs a pre check in list or some sort of list of people waiting to check in.. so we can see when people got here versus their check in time. Of course status's and different room type matter but the front desk was not on the same page. We sat and watched. Some people were able to swipe their credit cards and get the check in process started while others were simply told to come Back.. they need a better way to alert you when the room is available! Luggage room: needs better security we were able to put our bags in but when we returned it was full and we were simply just allowed to walk in and grab our bags which is alarming bc we really could have grabbed anyones bag.. Once we got in around 330pn we were excited and rest of the stay was easy.. just check in needed to be better

I was unsure whether to give this hotel 4 or 3 stars...if 3.5 was an option I would have chosen that. Luckily I was able to stay using points. The positives: The front staff is polite and they do speak English so that was a plus. You are entitled to a complimentary drink on the day of arrival and the staff made me a nice "mocktail" with juices. It is also very secure with security in the front and an elevator system which requires scanning your room key to go up. I also arrived early and they let me check in early into a different type of room than I had originally booked (but at the same price point). Now for the negative: whilst public transportation is nearby, it is extremely difficult to get an Uber or taxi from this location. I am not sure as to what the cause is of that but it was extremely frustrating and wasted a lot of time on both days I was there. While the room may look clean, it's not. There was a lot of hair (that wasn't mine) all over the carpet, crumbs, etc. One of my mugs (for coffee/tea) was noticeably dirty (from a prior stay)--when I asked for it to be replaced, they simply half heartedly rinsed it in the bathroom sink and put it back. Yuck. I didn't feel like using any of the cups/mugs after that. Housekeeping was also overly assertive knocking on my door at 10 am on a weekend. Not sure if I would go back to this hotel but considering it was nearly free, I shouldn't complain too much about it.

Great hotel. - great location next to the train lines and Gare de Lyon - clean rooms - safe area - staff are courteous although check in took a long time - free welcome drink - good Wi-Fi Did not try the gym or any food.

I had a great 3 night stay here! All of the Marriott properties in Paris have a ridiculous points redemption rate of 50k+ per night and the Courtyard is the only one with a reasonable redemption rate of 35k/ night. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and my check-in process was a breeze. The front desk attendant spoke perfect English and we were checked in within 10 minutes. This property is located near the metro station which makes it perfect for traveling around Paris, you're only a 10 minute walk away from the metro station which will get you to Versailles. We were on the 14th floor and had a gorgeous view of Paris, our room got a ton of light. If you have elite status breakfast is not included as a complimentary which wasn't a big deal since there are a bunch of patisseries nearby (and even a Starbucks right next door). If I come back to Paris I'll likely stay here again just due to the reasonable points redemption rate!

Busy, clean and welcoming hotel steps away from Gare d Lyon station. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room wasn't ready until 3pm on the dot. That was good for us, which meant we were forced to stay up after the red eye flight from the states.

It's clean. Little dark and dated. The wings and beer are fine. Service is friendly. The locals are a hoot to watch.

Although I had a rear side room, so no view of the street, I was very happy with it. The windows were able to open to the other building however you could have coffee by the window and the room was incredibly private. The blackout curtains were a game changer too! I slept peacefully each night and although the rooms aren't large, they use every inch of the space and was very well planned out. The breakfast was actually one of my favorite parts about being here. You are able to have breakfast in your room or downstairs in the breakfast room. The breakfast rooms decor was lovely and I looked forward to my breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, the staff is lovely and the hotel is clean and my favorite small hotel I have stayed at thus far in Paris. The location is awesome, there are many places to eat and shop (must go vintage shopping while in the area as well).

We had a double room with a small balcony that faced the street. It was perfect in every way. The employees were so kind and helpful and spoke beautiful English to our sad French (but we tried!). We did 4 days in Paris and 4 days in the Loire Valley, returning to Paris for our last night. After staying here during the first part of our trip, I cancelled our 2nd Paris hotel and rebooked this one for our last night. It was that perfect. We can't wait to return and without question we will stay here again. Many thanks to the staff at Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais for making our stay so lovely.

After a lot of researching and back and forth I selected Hotel Diana for my 4 night stay in Paris…read more I booked directly through their website which was super easy. I selected the queen size bed room - my close friend selected the full size bed room. We arrived in the early evening and check in was quick. Fortunately the lift /elevator was working as we had a lot of luggage it all fit as well as myself . The room was small and basic, which I expected being in downtown Paris. The bathroom was simple with a bathtub shower combo. The bed was comfortable and there was a working a/c however it didn't really get the room super cold but kept it comfortable for summer. Fortunately the heat wave was over by the time we arrived. Tne bathroom did get very warm if you were styling your hair or doing your makeup. I would suggest bringing a small portable fan with you if coming in tne summer . The location is the selling point of this hotel. Walking distance to so many cute restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Sienne River. Felt perfectly safe walking around day or night even solo. Usually there were young men working the front desk. They were always polite however I wish they were able to provide a little more suggestions where to go or how to get around for a first time visitor. Great budget hotel in the 5th.

When reading this review, you must consider the typical budget Parisian hotel: small, cramped…read morebathroom, lack of AC, etc. This hotel more than adequately addresses them all. The room that we had was relatively spacious, with a double bed and some room to move around. The mattress was very comfortable and linens were perfectly clean (no gross bed covering that you typically find in hotels). There was also a relatively spacious bathroom with a nice bath tub (a good find in Paris). The room had quiet, perfectly-working AC and the Wifi was free. There was also a safe in the room. We were basically on a roll. The room also had double windows, which eliminated the noise from the adjacent street (this was amazing). The location is also quite nice. It's in the Latin quarter, walking distance from Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Sorbonne. Metro access is easy as well, in fact it is on a direct RER B line from CDG airport (station St.Michele) Plus, I haven't even gotten to the best part, which was the breakfast. It was 8 euros, and there was a plentiful selection of breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, and cereals. All was super tasty. Plus the coffee and hot chocolate were delicious, brought out in small cute pitchers so you could have a nice servicing. We went all around France during our trip and I still remember the drinks there. Yummy. Overall, the price was right, the location was good, and the rooms were great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic stay. Location is great: convenient of course to the Louvre but also excellent shopping…read moreand dining within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Heated mirror in the restroom and the HVAC was good. Comfortable bed. Service was friendly - excellent welcome by Floridita (I may have her name wrong) but she gave us a tour of the important areas of the hotel when we arrived and consistently greeted us every day when she saw us. Maid service and turn down services were also friendly as were the bellmen. Only negatives: our room faced the direction of the Louvre and on Friday night there were street performers singing until close to 1am. Wasn't a problem on the other nights. Also, Brasserie du Louvre, the fancy restaurant in the hotel, was a disappointment. Overall though we would stay there again next trip.

Our bedroom was spacious, the bed nice and perfectly made, the bathroom was also beautifully decorated, and comfortable with good products. We stayed a week, the room rates are steep, but for the lovely rooms, amenities and location it receives 3 full marks, the 4th star was the service team at L'officine that single-handedly made me reconsider and ultimately saved them from a lower " grade ". We had an unfortunate incident with the concierge service, whose staff member was not interested in giving us specific instructions. They were dismissive of my husband (who doesn't speak French) when he asked for directions to the bank for foreign exchange. I had to return to the hotel and speak to her directly in French to get results. We were, for the most part, impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the staff at their bar, as I mentioned above they were the reason I found all their front of the house redeeming qualities I'm not sure if I will stay here or try a different hotel- jury is out. For certain, I'll go back to their lovely bar.
