The courtyard Pullman has a modern vibe. It's your typical commuter hotel, but on the nicer side. Rooms have a fridge and coffee maker and the lobby restaurant is perfect for morning coffee, happy hour and even a meal. We enjoyed breakfast here both mornings, which was much better than anything on the go, and the happy hour bar was nice to unwind in. Check in was fine, although they forgot to acknowledge my Bonvoy rewards. Once I asked if they had bottled water, they remembered my reward snacks. The beds are hard and the pillows are soft, so that was a bummer. They provide soap and shampoo in the shower but no extra amenities/vanity kits. Location is key, right on campus makes it easy to get around for WSU events. Parking is convenient and free. read more

I spent one night there. The room is ergonomically designed. The lobby is modern. There is a restaurant. There are facilities and they're nice. Parking wasn't a problem. The rate was decent. My sole complaint is that whoever designed the ventilation did a bad job as the attached picture will illustrate. The bathrooms, which are very nice, generate a great deal of moisture and steam. The moisture and steam does not get sucked out of the bathrooms adequately by the ventilation. Consequently there is a great deal of moisture and mold in the walls and, in this case, on the ceiling. Those who have health reactions to such conditions should avoid this property. read more

especially. The dining area was always bustling, which was new for me as most hotels I'm in have quiet lobbies. I ordered breakfast there each morning and it was great. My room was nice and specious. The biggest drawback was my fridge and shower. The fridge had the power cool button covered up, so I wasn't able to keep things relatively cool, especially my breastmilk, so I had to leave it because it never froze. This is the 2nd court yard I've stayed in with the shower wall not keeping all the water in while I shower. It's frustrating because half the bathroom floor is sprinkled with water. The front desk was always polite and helpful. The common areas are clean. The elevators are responsive. The rooms are clean. The bed was okay, but the pillows were uncomfortable for me (all four pillows were too fluffy). Room design had a few failures (4-inch sink spouts should be illegal IMO, shower design sprays water on bathroom floor, and wall switch had a two-way switch in a 3-way application). I like to sleep with air circulating, but the thermostat doesn't allow a fan-only mode (and the unit was very loud when it did start); I think I'll go buy a cheap fan for the room next time. Security was lazy (exterior entry is supposed to be key-controlled after a certain time at night {as signs indicated}, but the doors were zip-tied open so they didn't lock). Will likely return because Courtyard seems to be the best value in the area (avoiding the rate spikes during local/WSU events). read more

This Courtyard is much better than another one I stayed at Los Angelos, and exceeded my expectation to a low-cost brand. The lobby and room were clean and modern. There were a few issues. Firstly, the mobile key couldn't be relied on, because it requires a physical key to activate room power. Secondly, it requires a parking sign to be put on the dash, which I was only told after talking to the front desk. Thirdly, the complementary bottled water was not present in the room - I had to ask the front desk for them. Fourthly, the parking cost was confusing. It said that the parking was $8 per night, and since I booked two rooms, the front desk assumed two cars without checking with me. I figured out myself and had to tell the front desk that we had only one car. But the final bill didn't include any parking charges. Lastly, they don't have complementary breakfast (even if you are Platinum), and the bar had very limited food selection and were overpriced. I would stay here again despite these complaints. The hotel is very clean, friendly staff, conveniently located on campus walking distance to almost everything. So happy this hotel is here but it sure is expensive, and I feel parking should be free but they charge $8. I actually really liked this hotel! I was only going to stay 2 nights and extended it to 3. My room was comfortable and great to get work done in, with a desk and a couch. I slept very well in my cozy king bed too! The lobby bar gets the job done for food and drinks. The bartender I met was very nice and we had a great conversation. There is also a little market off to the side if you have a craving or need outside of cafe hours. The prices were very reasonable, and I liked this hotel better than any of the others I have stayed in while in Pullman. They even gave me a late check-out because I had a conference call during regular check-out time. I would definitely stay here again. read more

The check in process was smooth, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, there was no housekeeping, the body wash container in the shower was empty, and no complimentary breakfast. A bistro in the lobby is open for breakfast and dinner, but the service in the morning is awful!! We ordered Starbuck-like breakfast sandwiches that took an hour to make and then were given to another customer. When I asked, there was no apology offered. Other guests were receiving the same lack of service. It was crazy! It is orientation at WSU, and this location is convenient, but I don't think we will be back. read more

We had an awesome visit at this Courtyard by Marriott! It is incredibly convenient to WSU- literally you walk out the door, turn right and you're on campus. It is super clean and the staff is excellent. We had the nicest shuttle driver pick us up at the airport, check-in was super easy, our room was immaculate and the bartender was friendly and had great recommendations. We have always enjoyed our past stays here at this hotel. Since our Coug graduated with her masters we made sure we wanted to stay here a last time. Ben and the front desk workers are always nice, patient, and accomodating. We also like the conveniency of having a bar, starbucks, and a little store downstairs. The perfect stay for anyone coming to Pullman! The rooms are spacious, bright, and extremely clean. They provide you with chargers, free coffee, and any toiletries you might need. They have a 24hr fitness center as well as a restaurant/bar that's open late. This review is for the front desk person, Ben. He was working the night shift and helped us so much during our stay. Our TV was broken and he got us a new room in no time! Even came up to hand us our keys. Thank you for making it a memorable stay. I had an exquisite time here. Seriously, one of the best hotel experiences I've had, especially as someone who travels a lot. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Free HBO is excellent. The food at the Bistro is good and includes a lot of vegetables, which if you travel a lot you know is a rarity and which I super appreciated. One of the best places to stay in Pullman. It is a short walk to campus and Martin stadium. Super clean and great staff.

The facilities are very nice, it's quiet and comfortable. The problem is that they charge you $12 to park your car in their parking lot. They don't tell you that you will be charged this, they just put it on your bill. Never in my life have I ever been asked to pay for parking in the parking lot of a hotel I am paying to stay at. Tell them you won't pay it. We made them remove it. read more

I'm a Marriott fan, however I just got to my hotel room to fall asleep after a long work day, to find BLOOD on the sheets of one of the queen beds, and someone's BLACK HAIRS all over the sheets of the other bed. I was perfectly fine with moving from the blood stained bed over to the second bed to get a good nights sleep without complaint, but moving over to find someone's nasty black hairs all over the second bed means that this cleaning crew could care less about actually washing the sheets, so I'm assuming the rest of the room is most likely unclean as well. I called down to let the front desk know but he was too busy at 10:30PM to even offer an apology. I can handle a lot as I travel a ton for work, but this was completely unacceptable. read more

We just had a great experience there. We went to Pullman to see my wife's grandmother and stayed there. The room was awesome, my 3 year old wanted to live there. Currently Closed due to COVID. But you can still book it on the website. You'll be greeted with a note on the door saying to go next door to the Residence Inn. Be aware that the Courtyard does not charge for parking but the Residence Inn charges the WSU parking fee of $12/day. You will be automatically charged (they fought me but finally removed it when I told them I booked the Courtyard). Residence Inn rooms are big. Bed is hard. Floors and thin and not well built so I heard all the footsteps, jumping, stomping and conversations upstairs late at night and very, very early AM. Even rattled the appliances. read more

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I will preface this review that the hotel was only 50% full at the time. This location looks just like any other Courtyard. The hotel staff were all welcoming and very accommodating. I asked for a shuttle to the local Walmart. Although they don't normally drive there they heard I needed to go to get medicine for my son so they made the trip for me. My son was very ill and there wasn't anything on the menu that was plain enough for him to have for dinner. The staff were able to pull bread from breakfast and some peanut butter to make him a special meal that he could eat. The menu is just like any other Courtyard for reference. I used their laundry facility and purchased the laundry soap from their store. I made several trips to their market and it was really convenient. The laundry facility was very clean and well kept. The only downside is that their credit card readers didn't work and I tried several cards. The machines accept coins and I had enough. The room was very clean and again what I would expect from a Courtyard. In summary, you get the normal Courtyard experience but every member of their staff is so nice and accommodating that is why I gave them a 5 star rating. I would absolutely staff there again. read more

Stayed there last night. $200 booked through Expedia and did not realize there were 2 Marriotts next to each other, stayed at the other one previously and had an enjoyable stay. Started out at the other and was told to go to courtyard, "lots of people make that mistake." Was barely greeted and was told where the bistro was is where breakfast is served. NO MENTION OF COST! Also no pool, but was told there was a hot tub. Neglected to say it was outside. Went to go get Breakfast and a Starbucks is setup and NOTHING IS FREE. After staying on first floor and had drunks knock on our door last night, I complained to AUSTIN. He told me it was my responsibility to pick a floor I would be comfortable on and that the Courtyard is known for NOT serving Breakfast. I told him, I did not realize that I was even staying at a Courtyard until last night. HE NEVER SAID HE WAS SORRY! My fault I picked the first floor. My fault I did not know about the hotel. I just stayed at a Holiday Inn, for Mom's Weekend, off campus, Pleasant personnel, cheaper, and with milk and cookies at night, and free breakfast, My advice, stay off campus, worth the 15-30 minute drive, and stay away from the Marriotts. I will never stay at a MARRIOT EVER AGAIN ANYWHERE. read more
