A few of my favorite things: + Cider and fruit from Wilson Banner Ranch (local) + Flavored caviar from Two If By SeaFoods (from Bristol Bay, AK) + Wine from the visitor center. They normally close at 5pm but I recently learned they stay open until 6:30 on market days.

Serenity Ridge Farm & Equestrian Center: Wonderful trainer, facility, and horses! I started taking…read morelessons with Katie a few months ago (in early November) and I couldn't be happier. She's an excellent trainer--extremely knowledgeable, patient, explains things well, matched me with a dream horse, and she's funny! I'm an older rider and still a beginner, yet this is not an issue at her facility. She trains riders at all levels & I'm making good progress in a short time because she's great at what she does. She has an indoor arena so I've been able to ride through the winter, and the center is only about 3 miles from downtown Pullman. The horse she chose for me is extremely well-trained & responsive, and she's content and affectionate, which is very important to me. You can tell a lot about a facility and the trainer by how the horses behave. When you come into this stable, the horses here have their ears up & forward, and like to have their necks or faces scratched. It's clear that they are used to be handled kindly & competently, and that they like people. I've only had one other trainer, and she's at the L.A. Equestrian Center. I moved here from California in late August and was worried I wouldn't find anyone else like Jacq (Toadstool Farm), but Katie is fantastic! I feel very lucky to have found Serenity & that Katie is taking new students.

Love visiting this farm stand…read more So far I've enjoyed the cucumbers, radishes, tomatoes, marinated labneh (soft cheese) from Brush Creek Creamery, and Love's Kombucha (White Rose). My husband drinks milk almost every day so he's had quite a few jars of milk from Viola Farm. I use venmo to pay but I think you can also leave a check or cash.

Safe to say I've been to quite a few in my time on this Earth. This is the best one. Seriously. I've never been to a better one. The quality of the vendors was top-notch - from the produce, hand made products, and food vendors, to the live entertainment. The whole thing was so well put together. I would honestly make a special trip just to go here for the day. Specifically, two booths to mention. One, Brush Creek Creamery makes incredibly smooth and delicious cheese - not too salty, but packed with flavor. Second, the Swedish bakery booth! What beautiful pastries, also packed with flavor. Not pictured, the countless produce booths were amazing, offering samples of absolutely delicious produce of all kinds.

It occurs right downtown and it's fun walking around and seeing stands for produce but also cool art items as well as excellent food places. We had the crepes and they were delicious. There was also a very cool heritage apple sampler that the University was putting on - overall, would recommend!

A wonderful little specialty shop in downtown Pullman…read more We sometimes pick up cheese, chocolate, and/or hot sauce but the focus is typically beer, hard cider, sake, and/or Prosecco. I like that they tend to have new things to try each time we stop by. They frequently have wine tastings on Thursdays (4-7pm) but we haven't stayed for any yet. Maybe next year. We used to frequently also buy lemonade here but sadly they stopped selling Fentimans Victorian Lemonade several months ago. They have 1-2 other similar options but we don't like them as much. I believe we've met two employees and the owner so far. Everyone has been really nice.

The proprietor was so very helpful helping me choose a selection of wines that would appeal to a varied group of people, and the proof was in the number of compliments from everyone at the party about the great wine selection. This experience is night and day better than what I get from the wine shop on Main St in Moscow. They also have a great beer selection with beers not available elsewhere on the Palouse. I highly recommend this place!
