This is a new and excellent Marriott property. This courtyard show the direction in which Marriott is taking courtyard franchise....which is very nice. We've stayed here a few times on the weekends. The rooms are very clean and new. Nice amenities in the room like an open shower and tv with streaming Netflix, Hulu, and others. Great customer service at the front desk and very friendly service at courtyard cafe. Serves Basic Starbucks coffee and espresso---this is not a full service bucks. read more

This place is a disaster. Totally short staffed. Housekeeping every 5 day of your stay only. Trash cans overflowing. The whole place smells constantly either like a vanilla scentsy candle or a urinal puck. Room AC never gets below 71 even when set at 59. read more

BOMB THREAT and FIRE ANTS! WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! My spouse and I attended a wedding in Dallas and we booked 3 nights in the hotel block. It was the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel experience we ever had! The morning after we checked in, the entire hotel was evacuated due to a BOMB THREAT. We were awakened by fire alarms and quickly exited the building. I thought we might be outside for 15-20 min, but the building was locked down for 4.5 hours and everyone was stuck outside - with no explanation of what was going on. The entire parking lot was roped off by police tape. When we were finally allowed back into the building, the fire alarms were still blaring at full blast, so we couldn't even stay in the room. It was another couple hours until they turned the alarms off. To top that off, the front desk staff would not even disclose what happened but tried to reassure us we were safe. I spoke with the manager who was at the sister hotel next door and he did provide some information about the bomb threat. We tried to change hotels but there were no vacancies nearby that night, so we were stuck. Little did we know the worst was yet to come. The next morning we woke up to a FIRE ANT INFESTATION in our room! My husband's suitcase was full of hundreds of aggressive, biting ants! They were all over his clothes and crawling around on the floor! I spent the next two hours trying to get rid of as many ants as I could from our clothes in the bathroom. We were both bitten multiple times by the ants. The rude front desk staff (same from the previous day) was completely unsympathetic to our plight and offered us no help at all. We'd have to wait several hours until the manager was on duty. We had enough, so we decided to check out 1 day early and move to the next door sister hotel, the Fairfield Inn. The manager was slightly more helpful, but after all we'd been through, we only got a partial refund (I asked for a full refund) and changing to the next door hotel (also owned by Marriott and under the same manager) was not compensated. Not once did anyone apologize for anything that happened to us! Staying at the Courtyard was an EXTREMELY TERRIBLE experience the entire way through. If you run into any problems here, don't expect any help or understanding! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! read more

*lengthy review* I stayed there with my family/friends in late July.we had a total of 4 rooms. The hotel itself was very nice. But we had the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel in my life!!. While we were very excited to meet up with family in the area and We all got dressed and fancy up for a dinner outting. Had an amazing time in the Dallas area. To wake up to these disgusting little red bite marks ALL OVER OUR BODIES. I spoke to the manager via email about the issue to only be accused of getting hit by fire ants. FIRE ANTS!!! There's NO WAY my family and I got bit by fire ants and DIDNT know. We were fine when we went to sleep and woke up covered in these Insanely itchy bites. When we got back home I was advised to wash everything we took into the room. I check our luggage with a flashlight Which there, I found a dead bed bug. A disgusting BED BUG!!! I've never in my life seen one of these or even been bit by these. The manager at this property obviously didn't believe me and customer serve didn't seem to care either. They just said a claim was made. The property supposedly had someone "check" the room to find "nothing" I don't believe that at all. There's no way we got bit by fire ants or anything else (all over our bodies) without knowing. It obviously happened in our sleep. I'm furious with the dismissal of our situation. I was a Marriott employee at the time and I thought soo highly of my company and how great we took care of our customers. UNTIL this stay. I wouldn't recommend staying at this property to anyone. I find it absolutely unacceptable that whenever I woke to in the customer service center claimed WE were the ones that brought it with us. I have children at home and now have to pay an exterminator to make sure my home isn't infected. I can't imagine how many other people have had to deal with this and get the same response from there in-caring management. read more

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. This stay was special though because I was getting married that weekend. I stayed in the hotel from Thursday through Sunday and the entire experience was delightful. The staff was very observant, helpful, and they were always courteous. The rooms were clean and my guests shared that they enjoyed their experience. It was easy to set up room blocks and for my guests to reserve their rooms. I came in town for a family gathering. I searched within the area and read reviews on this hotel! I'm super happy I picked this location. The staff was super friendly from check in to check out. I received daily text messages to make sure my stay was going well. This hotel is located in a very convenient area. Food choices and shopping are within walking distance. Everyone friendly - from the front desk to the shuttle driver. Newer, nicely furnished newer hotel. The only issue is that it's right on the freeway so if you have a room facing the road, you can hear it. They give you ear plugs in your room but if you're not used to or don't want to wear them, it may not be the best nights sleep. read more

Kinda bummed the suites don't have a microwave in the bedroom, usually when I'm out for business trips and like to order take out, microwaves are my savior! Has a fridge but not a freezer. But other than that, hotel seems very nice. Will update this thread later. read more

They are trying, I'll give them that. The staff always smiles and so far we haven't received any bad rooms they always very clean no issues in that department. The design is pretty good and hotel feels welcoming. The bad things that took away 2 stars, none of the rooms have microwaves (first time I've seen this), they don't offer any complimentary breakfast (not even a free muffin), and the AC units are odd as they keep the room cool during the day but have issues at night and the room ends up being really warm. I had to purchase a box fan from walmart on this last stay just to keep the airflow moving. If you don't get a special on the pricing I would have to say this hotel is a little over priced for what amenities you receive with your stay. On a side note, their cafe "The Bistro" doesn't really produce good tasting food and they take quite a long time to get you your food. I tried them twice and have learned my lesson, I go out to eat away from the hotel. Some of the rooms are still under construction and the. Windows to the bedrooms are dirty with white paint they just need to get some details of the hotel right. Overall just an "A-OK". read more

If I could rate this experience a 0, I most certainly would. I have been a Marriott Rewards customer for close to 2 decades and I have never been treated with such disrespect. I was given an accessible room without requesting it, the shower water pressure was low, the toilet would not flush, several trains passed loudly throughout the night and I did not complain at all. However, the worst part of the stay is when I reported my property as missing and the front desk staff refused to assist with locating my property. In fact, the staff became rude and disrespectful when I became frustrated that they would not contact housekeeping after stating that they would do so several hours prior to my arrival. Simply put, Jennifer is an incompetent desk agent who is easily overwhelmed by customers. Becky, the other desk agent has a poor work ethic in that she refuses to check in customers. Instead, she prefers to act like a supervisor when she clearly maintains no leadership qualities. Becky has terrible customer service skills and does not belong in a customer facing role. She refers to frustrated customers as "angry" and actually referred to me as "sister". Her behavior is condescending, unprofessional and worthy of termination. I would never recommend that any human stay at this property...ever. read more

We stayed here for the Frisco Classic and we loved it and fell in love with this area! We will be back!! New, Clean, innovative! So many plugs for electronics, nice big comfy bed and I personally loved the lounge and bar area! Great price too!!! And they offer a shuttle service to near by places. I had hopes since it was a brand new hotel. I'll start with the positive - the staff is GREAT! Tenesha (sorry if I spelled it wrong) at the front desk and Hershey in maintenance are wonderful! The not so positive - the air conditioning is SOOOOOO loud. Advice - request an even number room. If you are in an odd number room, you will hear the cars on the highway and that noise combined with the noise from the AC is unbearable. read more

I walked into the hotel after a 4 hour drive and made reservations ahead of time thru Priceline which I use often since I travel for business 2-3 weeks a month. The person at the desk was rude, unprofessional and a downright hateful person. She checked us in very slowly as if since she was uncomfortable to be there we would also. Got to our room me and my male cousin and it was only a king bed. We went down and let her know the situation and she said the we are locked into that room and there is nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager she said that was not possible at all acting as if she was the final word for that hotel. I asked if the problem was that there were any rooms with 2 separate bed she said that there were plenty available. She said I should call Priceline and see if they could fix it. Called Priceline and they said give them a couple minutes so they called to hotel and when Priceline got back to me they said that they couldn't get anywhere with her either. The thing that made me upset is when Priceline hung up with her she made a chuckle implying that she had won and I was not going to get an accommodating room. Very disappointed. I have never been asked to leave a hotel! WTF? I drove up to the hotel and there was a firetruck ambulance and ER in the parking lot. I was greeted at the front desk by four firefighters dressed in full uniform. A representative from the Marriott came to the desk and informed me that I was asked to leave because my room was unavailable. I thought for a few minutes? No, she offered no other explanation just that they made me reservations at another hotel about 10 minutes away. OK I was in a parking lot with three Marriotts and they still were unable to find me a room? Then they put me up st a Hilton property. Said that they would pay for my room but that was not a convenience considering I was traveling on business. So I asked for points instead. I asked why they didn't call to inform me before my check in but they had no answer for that. I was extremely tired after a long day of traveling and this was a major inconvenience. I checked in at the new hotel did I mention it was a different property. I receive no follow up call from the Marriott nor any information about my points. It drove me crazy all day because I had no information why I was asked to leave. The curiosity got the best of me and I actually returned to the Marriott property the next evening and asked what happened. The manager on duty informed me that they were going to give me 5000 points for my inconvenience. I told her I have received way more points for missing a wake up call. She called the manager on duty to ask for additional points I felt like I was bartering to make the situation right now. What an absolute disappointment that a company would put me out and then not have the courtesy to make things right. I informed the manager on duty that I cannot even get a hotel room for 5000 Marriott points. I felt like I had to let her know what the proper point value would be for putting me out of the hotel for a two night stay. When she called back the manager to ask for additional points she said that I was a customer that was asked to walk. I was so surprised to learn they had a term for the situation that they asked me to leave the hotel they refer to that as a walk. Well they have a name for the situation they sure as heck should have a procedure on how to politely corrected the situation and make the customer feel taken care of not like I was an outcast. I went out of my way to book at the Marriott hotel since I had been a Hilton honors member for a long but I was definitely disappointed in the customer service I received from this hotel. I recently read a customer service article that said the number one complaint customers say it the worst thing to do - lack of communication. They didn't inform me of the situation. They didn't contact me prior to arrival. They did t make it right. Come on Marriott! ‍I don't know how you dropped the ball! read more

We were in town for a wedding next door at Chapel Ana Villa (so convenient!) and loved this hotel. It was extremely clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious. Our room and amenities were great, but the customer service was even better. I had to call and ask for housekeeping to go to my room to check if my straightener was left on and They sent Edna right up to check, and leave us fresh towels. I realized upon leaving that I had left my watch on our room, but we were already in our Lyft to the airport. I called the front desk and Robbie/Robby (sp?) answered and was very kind and helpful. She went to our room immediately to look for it. She found it and called me to tell me and held it at the front desk for our friends to pick up and send to me. Our wedding crew was high maintenance and Courtyards staff were extremely patient with us. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and so appreciate the excellent accommodations and wonderful service!! read more

The rooms are fine but I cannot even begin to explain how infuriating their little Starbucks cafe is!!! I am 0 for 3 on good experiences there. They have forgotten my order each time and it's taken 20 minutes to actually get my order...so plan accordingly. The hotel needs to invest in training for the workers at the cafe, because it is painful to watch, and even more painful to be a customer of. This is the first Yelp review I've ever written, and it's because I'm this annoyed by the service! read more
