Bao Yeah offers not only bao but bowls and fried chicken as well. Their ordering (via tablet) is convenient, and they turn around orders quickly. I went with a three-piece bao, which allowed me to sample the two fried chicken varieties (K*Bomb with gochujang and Garlic Gang with soy black garlic) as well as the bulgogi. All of the bao were amply stuffed with meat and pickled vegetables and slathered with tasty sauce. The thick buns held everything in place, so eating was not too sloppy an endeavor. Everything delivered the expected flavors - sweet heat from the K*Bomb, a tangier note from the bulgogi - and the fried chicken boasted a thick, crunchy batter. It was quite tasty though the chicken was definitely a bit dry. At least the bulgogi was nice and tender. All told, Bao Yeah is a promising newish addition to the Triad food truck scene.
