Second place we visited was cupcake cuties, Brad assisted us and we had an amazing experience, he was so accommodating and personable. Totally different experience from the last. This is the second time I have visited cupcake cuties Café and bakery, and the second review that I am adding for this location... Everything about this place is absolutely positively amazing! From the overwhelming amount of scrumptious looking pastries that they have to the extremely friendly staff and delicious espresso based coffees this place is spot on and a hidden gym! I ordered the mocha Frappuccino that's made with Ghirardelli dark chocolate powder and I added two shots of espresso to it. Mason, the barista made it perfectly! It has the best blend of flavors and the right amount of coffee boldness. I also got three shakes of cinnamon powder, which is my usual. Brad, who also worked in the Coffee area was also very friendly and helpful. The girl who gave us our pastries was also very sweet and knowledgeable about their pastries. They get most of their sweets from Cheesecakes By Alex a local Winston-Salem and Greensboro shop that I visit very frequently. I got the New York style cheesecake which is always delicious. If you haven't visited cupcake, cuties Café and bakery in Thomasville, you should definitely make it a point to go! It's only about 15 minutes from Winston-Salem and worth the trip! Warburg is going to be my new favorite place for food and desserts! Such a super cute little bakery and ice cream shop! The variety and quality of items they have was extraordinary! I had a hard time deciding so we asked what the most popular items were and the friendly employee said the strawberry cupcake was their top seller. We had a coupon for BOGO cupcake so the strawberry and chocolate lovers came home with us. We also took home a chocolate croissant because they looked so good in the case we couldn't resist! I wanted to get so many more things but we had just finished eating lunch and had no room in our stomachs for more. Since I plan to go back I'll be trying many more things in the future. When we got home, I took a taste of the strawberry cupcake. Wow! It has great flavor and texture but it was a bit too sweet for me. My sons liked it a lot though. I'm just not a huge cupcake fan. The chocolate croissant was simply amazing! It had the most chocolate in a croissant I've ever seen. The dough could have used a bit more time in the oven but you better believe I ate ever bite and left no crumbs. Recently, I went back and tried a couple of their gooey butter cake flavors. We got the Lemon and the chocolate chip. Both had good flavor but I would have preferred them room temp vs cold. never been all i know is I called to ask a question and the young lady i was speaking with was completely clueless...almost acting like she was high or something....like i was talking to a kid who didnt want to be there or had no clue what was going on. This is my second visit to Cupcake Cuties. The first one was last year during Ice Cream Month Yelp event. Thank you for sponsoring the event, otherwise I wouldn't know about your place. My visit with my husband and granddaughter was as great as the first time. They were quite busy but the staff is efficient that they helped everyone in no time. We drove more than an hour just to get ice cream, which is very creamy and flavorful! Yummy! Cupcake Cuties is for sure a 'sweet tooth' haven! So to start I absolutely love the environment and atmosphere. They have rocking chairs and tables out front and chairs on the side to sit and play tik tak toe. The inside has a nice seating area with even more board games to entice you to stay and play while enjoying your sweet treats. I enjoyed the key lime gooey cake which was the perfect texture, it was gooey with a nice base that provided a texture balance. It tasted fantastic but I wanted it to have just a little bit more of a key lime pop. You can totally taste the sweetness and tartness of key lime bit I wanted a bit more of the tartness and brightness factor of key lime My son got blue raspberry Italian ice and he loved it! He also got the vanilla cake pop and the vanilla cupcake but didn't eat it because it was cold. I do understand having them cold but I wish they were a little less cold as that does change the texture of cakes. I'm sure once it comes to room temperature it will be amazing but from the little taste I had, it was a little too sweet for me. We went on a Saturday night around 630 pm and it was only a little busy-- meaning I didn't get to stand at the cake window and be as indecisive as I normally am. After seeing a review from Mikaela B. tasting a fall-flavored coffee flight, I knew what we needed to do this weekend! We were not disappointed. This little café offers so many goodies that it's hard not to find something for everyone. They have ice-cream treats, slushies, cakes, danishes and pastries, and a full coffee bar. Response to the OWNER'S reply below: Wow! I DID NOT LIE in my review. I wandered around waiting for my niece to arrive, and I spoke to three different people. The peanut butter cookies were the only keto/sugar-free option that day! I specifically even asked one sweet woman, "Are you sure you don't have any keto cheesecake in the freezer or something?" The reply to me was, "No, I am sorry." In my honest review, I shared my observations and my opinion. Yes, there are other bakeries that offer better choices for me. That is true. But since you have had delicious keto cheesecake in the past, I had no idea until I came in that visit that unless I felt like peanut butter cookies, you wouldn't have anything for me. I was told you didn't have any other choices and the staff didn't know why you don't carry decaf. One girl did state that sugar free ice cream just didn't sell enough for you to carry it. Calling someone a liar instead of apologizing for lack of options that a person desired when they came in your door would have shown a greater level of personal character rather than getting on the defensive and attacking. Yes, you were busy and must stay busy. I'm very happy that a locally owned bakery is succeeding in today's economy. That means a lot. This is an awesome little bakery/dessert right off Highway 109 in a really small town/village called Wallburg. Simply put...they are awesome! Not only are there some of the best cupcakes, and regular cakes being sold, they have some ice cream too. There is also cheesecake on the menu and other pastries for sell. Did I forget to mention the have coffee too! I can imagine this place as a great place to stop and get something on the way to work or a great place to stop and have a cup of coffee and a sugary snack after work. They have a few tables inside, and a few tables on the outside sidewalk, or you could do like several people did and drop the tailgate on the pickup truck and eat the ice-cream while swinging your feet to the music coming from the radio! I've heard about this place for a while from a friend of mine but it seemed like it was some distance away...except it really isn't. I had to make a trip up to Wallburg and realized it's only 20 minutes from me. I knew I had to drop by Cupcake Cuties while I was in town! This is what every bakery should look like- the quaint feel inside, pretty porch patio seating outside, great customer service, and an amazing selection of goodies to choose from. They had several cupcake flavors, cake pops, croissants, ice cream (along with milkshakes and sundaes, cake, cheesecake, and several other desserts! I ordered the Cheerwine cupcake and the Chocolate lovers cupcake for my kids and the chocolate malt milkshake for myself. Both cupcakes were decently sized and full of flavor. I am the pickiest of pickiest when it comes to frosting but I did like the frosting on both of these cupcakes. Both of my kids ate the entire cupcake, instead of just eating the frosting which they normally would do. My milkshake was thick and creamy and frankly, I can't find a lot of places to make malts anymore. The total was $11 for 3 desserts which was very reasonable. The staff at Cupcake Cuties was amazing. Both of my very young children were so excited to see all of the cupcakes when they walked in. They immediately pressed their little faces against the glass and pointed to everything, putting their little fingerprints all over the glass. I tried to get them to step back, but the young man behind the counter just waved it off and said it was fine. He humored my kids as they pointed to multiple cupcakes and exclaimed they wanted all of them, waiting patiently for my approval of just the two. They each asked for a cup of water, and he not only got them one, but made sure they had lids and straws as well. Both employees there were very friendly.
