Unlike many here, I really like the owner Josh, and the humidor is amazing. The problem I have is with the click of people who smoke there. You are either "in the click" or you are not. You have one guy who thinks he's a mafia boss, another is a financial advisor who gossips about his clients net worth and gambles all his money in Vegas. So many of the group meet in each other's homes for party's, but you have to be part of the click. All I want to do is smoke a stick or two, but it's like the regulars go out of their way to let you know...YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! read more

This Guy is a Duche Bag. All 4ft of him is rude and Cocky. Out of all the other Lounges Robusto and Briar, Royal 10, Cigar Cigar, and Havana Choice. All are really cool if you buy a stick you can smoke. You dont have to smoke what you buy there. He came out to us our first time there after being recommended by their other store. He comes out and tell us we can't smoke other cigars there. We said really no signs anywhere. He says yeah you dont bring food into a Restaurant do you. We looked at each other and said well this is not a Restaurant. But after spending almost $100 bucks on sticks and was gonna buy a 10 cigar Herfador this Duche lost all of our business and our Friends. We go out 3 times a week and spend at least $100- $200 each. We will not be back. The other places are much more Hospitable and the staff are not ---holes. read more

My experience was similar to a lot of the reviews. Overall, the owner was helpful and helped me find the exact type of cigar I wanted without breaking the bank. I was in and out within 5-10 minutes. This was good for me because I have difficulty making decisions when given many options, and there were plenty of cigars to choose from here. The humidor is among the best in the area. Great selection, and they do a solid job keeping it well-stocked. The seating accommodations aren't huge. There are probably enough seats for maybe 20-25 people to sit in there, though that would probably be pushing it. Pricing is average. You're not going to find a deal here, but you're not going to get gouged, either. Several of the comments have mentioned the bald man working the register as being rude. I've been in maybe a dozen times or so, and he's always been friendly enough. I've even brought friends and family members in a couple times, and they got the same impression. Not outgoing, and his answers are farely short, but he's never come across as rude to me. Just seems a little awkward. All in all, I have no problem going back once in awhile. However I avoid going here because Josh is such an unpleasant person. I know he has worked here for some time and I don't understand why. I don't get what anyone's appeal to this place would be. They have a pretty good selection of cigars but the space is tiny and the person who works there, who I believe is one of the owners is a jerk (the bald headed guy who wears a visor). Shop local! Cigars included. This is a great local brick and mortar shop. There are many online retailers but having that real experience is hard to beat. Walking into a humidor and getting that fresh cigar smell is amazing. The selection is great and their humidor is a good 10 feet tall with cigars on all sides. I found exactly what I wanted and I had the chance to talk cigars with the local guys. While I was in there, a group of gentlemen was watching a game and chatting about everything. It seemed like a god time and I might explore some of thier cigar club options. There is nothing better than socializing and smoking a cigar. Reasonable prices and a really cool interior make this place worth a try. I was in Avon for a wedding with a few hours to myself on Saturday afternoon. This is a fabulous cigar store. The humidor is enormous and chock full of every amazing cigar brand and product you can imagine. I browsed for a while and sought the advice of the owner who was enormously helpful. I settled on a couple of premium cigars he recommended based on others (Arturo Fuente Don Carlos and Hemingway Collection Best Sellers) that I liked. He also steered me to the house brand $4.25 Churchill Cameroon's that were outstanding. I lit one up and sat in the comfortable leather chairs and watched many happy customers visit for the next 70 minutes. This is a great cigar shop everyone who cherishes a quality cigar should visit. read more

The absolute rudest of anyone I have ever seen operating a cigar store!! The one star is one too many! I usually do not take the time to do reviews, but I'm fed up with people that have no business, trying to run a business! I entered the store, said Hello to the guy behind the counter, no response whatsoever. Only one other person in the store, so it wasn't like he was busy with other customers. Later he walked into the humidor, where I was looking for some of my favorites, once again, no acknowledgment at all. I have never experienced any cigar store staff that doesn't at least ask if you are looking for something specific!! All I can say is, if you're an employee that doesn't like your job, go jump on the back of a garbage truck, for this guy, that would be considered "over employment "! Oh yeah. Was thinking of trying this place again. But, after reading reviews here, my first impression, from a few years ago, apparently was correct. Unfriendly, visor-wearing, creepy, sneering "I got my eye on you" person was a real downer. Acted like since he didn't know you, he didn't trust you. Hell of way to run a business. Went in with my dad to get him a pipe as a Christmas gift - I won't go back. The bald guy at the register was a prick and treated me (the only female in his store) with a belittling dismissive attitude. Replying to my comment of the price of a pipe stand with, "uh OH kay", which could only be topped if he were a teenage girls rolling his eyes in disgust and annoyance at the girls who don't fit into his click. One star because the rating system requires it at a minimum. We were visiting from Chicago and wanted to check out a local cigar shop or two. The first thing I noticed when entering is the guy at the register wasn't very welcoming. He offered no assistance and continued his conversation with what appeared to be one of his regulars. I can't speak as to the regular patrons because we didn't stay to smoke but they didn't seem very cordial. The humidor was well stocked with a good selection but considering the cost of living in Chicago vs. this area we were surprised to see the prices seemed to exceed those of various Chicago area cigar lounges. Judging by the first impression many of the previous ratings definitely seemed accurate. Seems like a last resort stop when there's nowhere closer. read more

I had a good experience here. I found it through Yelp. I was out of town on business and wanted a good cigar. They have a nice shop. The humidor is definitely on the larger end of shops I frequent and the selection was really good. They do seem to be priced a little higher than most shops i am familiar with but it wasnt out of line. The guy working the shop took the time to ask about what I like to smoke and offered a few suggestions. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. I walked out of there with a great cigar. I went here to check out their cigars and as I was viewing them, one of the store associates (Bald Guy, red faced, prick) asked if we needed any help and we said "No, were probably not going to buy anything but were looking around for future purchases" then he replied "If you arent going to buy anything don't touch the cigars" and I just was stunned.
