I brought my wife in for Mother's Day and it's taken time to remember to write a review. The women who work here seem miserable. I sat and watched the ladies get their nails done and nobody looked happy mostly the staff. The workers seem pissed off and like they argue a lot. Especially the woman near the front who answers the phone. I think she is the owner and she seems downright mean. I would not work for her if I was a nail lady and I won't pay for my wife to come here again. She will go to a nice salon where people treat each other with respect. This is a hen house with a lot of pissed off hens and as I waited for my wife every single customer complained about the price. Seems like a lot of bait and switch and smoke and mirrors with inflated prices. Geez who thought nails could be so much drama. My dip manicure was the worst I've ever had. Very uneven and so thick. The pedicure was amazing, which is why I'm giving 2 stars. I tried giving this nail salon one more chance, and let's just say I give up on them. I took my mom here for mothers day for pedicures and made sure to make our appointments a week in advance, I even called the day of to confirm. We walk in 5 minutes early and of course there was a walk-in party in front of us getting pedicures as well - they are seated right away. I walk up to the counter and tell the lady that I have an apt for 2 - the owner comes over and says "oh so sorry it will be a 45 minute wait and to come back later" I informed her that I have had this apt booked for the past week and that I even called in to confirm it that morning, she said that she was sorry and could fit us back in her schedule in either 45 minutes or two hours. So my mom and I rescheduled for 2 hours, we figured we could get some lunch and then come back. Well again we show up 5 minutes before our second apt for the day, they told us it would be just 5 minutes to set up and 40 minutes later we are finally seated. We had ordered the deluxe spa pedicure and only received the basic, it was incredibly rushed and not relaxing to say the least. The paint job was not the best either and they filled the water for the footbath from a bowl that they heated up in the microwave. Needless to say I will not be going back there again read more

I've been going here for years, and it is hit or miss as to whether I will get good service. I would rather them tell me they are busy, or to come back, vs rush through the job. I do the dip nails and if I dare splurge for the manicure, I hate it being rushed. I'm currently paying the extra for the dip nails because I have a big split in my nails, and they keep telling me it will help heal it and so far, it is not at all. By the time you are done with the soak off, the re-do and the manicure, it has been close to 2 hours and $100.00 later. That's a lot to spend to be rushed in and out and treated like you are just money in their pocket. Just when I want to go elsewhere. They end up doing a better job the next time. But then back to the rush. Making an appointment honestly doesn't help. You still have to wait if they have a full salon, and you can still be rushed through as they want to get as many in and out as possible. read more

I got a fill and shellac done on a Sunday, and this was the result after one day. The shellac started to peel off of all of my nails, and the actual acrylics starts the chip off. They were so weak that all the nails eventually started loosing chunks until I had to file them all down and get them removed. The lady I saw only came on Sundays, so maybe she just didn't want to put much effort in? I also asked her to file down the nail underneath since they had grown out from my previous set, and she didn't even bother to file them down well. She answered her Bluetooth during my appointment and was more focused laughing with her friends than doing the job I paid her for. Never been so disappointed by this salon. Every other time I have come here, they have been great! I don't recommend coming on a Sunday though in case you get the nail technician I did. read more

Called at 6:15 on a Thursday evening wanting to get 2 sets dip nails done when they close at 7. They were really accommodating and said yes, got there and they were prompt with service and not rushing at all, made sure my daughter and I were taken care of and probably the best dipped set I've had in WA. I'm admittedly a picky client and they exceed my expectations you're greeted with a smile and they offer you such fabulous service with a complimentary beverage and soothing music so you can sit back and relax in a peaceful environment. The technicians take time with you and make sure you're satisfied with your services. The salon is very clean and they always keep up with the latest trends. I also like the advice and help you get here if you want to change up your looks or add a little pizzazz to your nails. I'm allergic to wax so they will pluck my brows for me. if i could do 0 stars I WOULD. this is the 3rd time i've taken a friend there and was embarrassed to do so...they did a horrible job on my friends nails after saying it would cost extra because of the "design" and shape she is getting. not only that but it didn't turn out the way it was supposed to for how much they decided to charge. and on TOP of that they kept saying they couldn't do it but proceeded to anyways. now when it came to my nails i asked for a specific length...they kept making excuses saying my nail bed is too small but to us it sounded like they just didn't want to do it.. I like my nails long and have always gotten them long..i've even gotten them done LONG THERE.. at THIS salon and then all of a sudden it wasn't possible. she had to remove my nails twice because (in a liquid that was burning my cuticles) because she kept cutting them at the length she WANTED to do. but you should never go against what the customer wants done on them especially if THEY are paying YOU. In all i paid $118 for bad service and bad work. and they already look grown out after a few days. i left the salon with my nails looking worse than they did when i left. we will NOT be returning. I've held back from writing a review on my last few visits, but my most recent visit was absolutely unacceptable on every level. I came in right on time for my appointment (dip polish change), but my technician had just sat a different client so I offered to wait. Knowing it would be a while, I decided to get a pedicure. Rather than seating me in a pedicure chair and starting the soak-off process while my feet soaked in a massage chair (several empty), they sat me at a nail station to soak off my existing dip polish. Okay. About 45 minutes later (the technician that I had an appointment with was still busy with a different client) they moved me to a pedicure chair. This was the most awful experience. The girl who did my pedicure (Cindy) absolutely butchered my toes. She cut out a corner of my right toe and it started bleeding. It's now three days after my pedicure and I still can't put a sock on. I have a bloody scab, it's sensitive to the touch of even a dessert and very, very painful to walk. I have never in my life had an ingrown toenail or any reason whatsoever to cut into the sides of my toenails, but this salon insists on cutting the sides of your toes on every visit. It was absolutely unnecessary and she took it WAY too far to the point of blood and immense pain. She then proceeded to take the rough / abrasive flat side of a nail file and saw across the tops of my toenails excessively. Typically they use a buffing block or something more suitable for that purpose, but she went back and forth for a long while with the coarse flat side of the nail file. This process left my skin raw to the point where even the warm water in the bowl made my toes sting in pain. There was no massage involved with this pedicure. She simply rubbed oil and lotion onto my feet and legs with very limp hands. As rough as she was on cutting and chopping and sanding my toes, she was as weak or weaker during the "massage" part of the pedicure. There simply was no massage even though the pedicure description specified a 10 minute massage. During this time my nail technician took another client so when my pedicure was over she was then busy again with someone else. It was now 90 minutes after my initial appointment time and I'm close to tears in pain, plus running late. When it was finally my turn, knowing she made me wait, she rushed me over to a table and began my polish change at record speed. She always does a good job and I hesitate to write this because I like her but the end result was disappointing (see photo). I have polish all over my skin and still can't get it off 3 days later. I don't have time or the desire to go back. With a 20% tip (yes, I still tipped) my bill was $119. This wasn't even including a manicure, it was the worst pedicure I've ever had, and I left with polish all over my skin and a bleeding toe for $119. Dip polish change, the mid-level pedicure (they have 6 choices and I chose the 3rd), plus 20% tip was $119. I do not recommend this salon. I will see a doctor for my toe after the holiday weekend and possibly seek antibiotics to avoid infection. I'm very disappointed and wish to warn others to be very careful if you do choose to patronize this business. Do not let them cut you, or spend your money where they honor appointments and don't leave you bleeding with polish all over your skin. read more

Not one to leave reviews but ...Used to be my FAVORITE place when I first moved to Monroe 2 yrs ago, super nice nail techs too. As the years have gone by the nail quality has gone down too and prices way UP. They're ALWAYS busy.. not sure why? ANYWAYS my go to is shellac acrylic full set nails (short-medium length), and only last me 1 week and they start peeling! I'm not rough with my hands at all (at home nor at my job-work front desk). A week for shellac and acrylic to last a week is a joke, honestly for what you're paying for every 2 weeks. Also, you're probably thinking why not get something cheaper like regular nail polish? No, DONT recommend AT ALL! Super cakey and thick.. you loose the shape and honestly look like blobs. I recently have gone back to my fave old location prior to moving out here and they were shook at the quality. ANYWAYS was a great place 2 yrs ago, now their quality of nail has gone WAY DONE in every category but their clientele has somehow risen? Recommend going elsewhere; don't waste time nor money. Was not happy with my nails. I asked for a full set of square acrylic nails and the finished product were oval nails with a different shape for almost every nail. I also asked for crystals at the bottom and some of them were just thrown on and not even centered. I came in an hour and a half early before close and they were still rushing to get everything done. I was charged 60 dollars for work I am not pleased by at all. I would not reccomend. read more
