I waited 15min to text Jessica if we still had an appointment. After I sent it another stylist phone rang and it was Jessica.( I concurred from the discussion they had) All I know is the other stylist said she would do my hair for me. I asked if she forgot No explanation. She did mention while I was waiting she thought Jessica was on a trip. I never got a text or call back from Jessica as u can see in my photo saying sorry or anything. Tho I know she got it because of the phone call to the other stylist. Very unprofessional. I made my appointment about 1 1/2 weeks before. Won't be back. Glad the other stylist took me. She didn't have to. Never got her name. I scheduled an appointment with Samantha, and it was about 6 weeks to get in. The night before I texted her to confirm my appointment. She said since I have dark hair there would be an extra fee. I asked how much and she said "$195 and up"!!! I balked at how expensive this was, and she just said, "it says there may be additional fees!". Who would expect the "additional fees to be 4x the price of the Groupon?! Additional fees to me are like $50, not an additional $200 on top of the price of the Groupon. Ridiculous! read more

I love my new haircut! I've had super long hair for as long as I can remember, but recently all the female celebrities are going short, and they all look super hot with pixie cuts, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and get mine chopped off too. Lindsey did my cut, and she was very careful and sweet. We talked about what I wanted before she started, and she gave her recommendations based on the shape of my face and easy of maintenance and styles that will suit my lifestyle and professional look. She was definitely an expert on what would look good and what would look too boyish and attract the wrong kind of attention. She chopped off my hair to a bob first then did a deep conditioning treatment on me. Then she proceeded to shape up my new do, and asking me for feedback with every snip of the scissors. She talked me through the process and gave me tips on how to style my new hair, what products to use, and gave me lots of versatility with it: I can be edgy or sweet. Went back and had my hair styled again with Lindsey for my engagement session. Since I was able to show show photos of how my hair turned out the last time, she took another approach and it wasn't as frizzy this time. I was really happy how attentive she was and even though we went WAY past schedule, making me a little late, she made sure it was exactly what I wanted. She had another stylist jump in to help curl since it was taking so long. I have difficult hair, I always have. She did the best she could both times and really listened to what I wanted to made sure I was happy before I left. Still highly recommend Lindsey no matter what. I also have to note that she came in and kept her appointment with me even though her grandfather had passed the night before. I was shocked she was working, but she is dedicated to her clients and didn't want to cancel. That right there shows you just how amazing she is. She cares about what she does. read more

I'm rating a 1 star because I'm at a loss. I purchased a groupon for this place to get a cut and partial hilights and saw they got good reviews. (I am cutting my hair for my 3rd hair donation to wigs for kids). However I scheduled an appointment online last week and have yet to receive a confirmation. I have called several times; no one answers. I have left voicemails; no one returns my calls. I am a nurse, mom and student and I don't have much free time. I just want to know if I have an appointment or not. I'm open to suggestions from anyone who sees this post. I also went down there, but it was closed. read more

I bought a voucher from Groupon. When I called to make the appointment the perdon was very short with me. I got the feeling shhe was annoyed that I went througH Groupon. I was 15 min early to my appointment and unknowingly came in their back door and walKed right into the middle of the salon. Stylist said she was the one who made the appointment. She set the conditioner and as she walked away she said to another stylist that the place had someone come in to give a (yearly?) review. She went in to say that although the salon itself was s "good" two of the stylist were fined. Naming the stylists she said one had two infractions and another had 1. (Why would you have this conversation in a salon full of clients? She comes back to rinse my hair and tells me it''a going to be ANOTHER $25 to have my hair blowed dry!!! I guess this is how she makes up the price.. I asked for 6 inches to be cut bbc my hair was pretty damaged. She said that's a lot- so I showed her how short. I normally don't like getting my hair cut, I stick to trims mostly but wanted to refresh my look, a friend referred Tristen to me. He is great with thick and wavy hair- he asked for photos of what style I wanted and my hair currently so he could figure out an approach which was nice. Once I was in the chair, he walked me through step by step on how to style and manage my hair for growth which was my main goal. She was early to the 7am appointment, offered me a mimosa and coffee and took her time to make sure the style was perfect before letting me go. I didn't want to write this review but I've taken some time to try to warm up to it and I'm still so unhappy with my hair. The picture on the left is what I wanted and the picture on the right is what I left with. (Obviously I understood I wouldn't have any high or low lights like she does but I was hoping for something close to it) If I wanted the dark ash brown/almost black that I'm left with I would've gone to target and bought a $3 box dye because that's what it looks like. She looked at my picture for maybe half a second and said "oh ok brown" and went to get the dye as if there's only one shade of brown... I realize you get what you pay for, but I bought a Groupon because I've been looking for a new hair place since I moved to town and I wanted to test it for a reasonable price. After the Groupon price, tip, and "long hair charge" for hair barely past my shoulders... I should've skipped Groupon altogether and gone to a better salon to have it done right in the first place. OH, not to mention all of this happened after I was rescheduled twice and then called AGAIN to be rescheduled for a third. When I got frustrated for having to move my schedule around 3 separate times, she agreed to still see me that day. I hate to leave bad reviews but it was not a good experience in any way. The price turned out to be more than any other salon, I left at night with soaking dripping wet hair in the cold, and the cut was so quick I didn't even realize she had cut anything and that I was done. Was hoping to find my new go-to hair place and treat myself a little, but I'm left extremely disappointed. In a town full of salons, it's surprisingly difficult to find a good stylist. I am fortunate to have found Renee. I tried to book an appointment online, which was disappointing. It only books appointments for the owner who confirms slower than you'd like. Note that the number listed is hers as well. This isn't a fault of the salon but due to a law that has been in effect since the beginning of the year. The stylists were very friendly and accommodating. The shop was very clean and pretty. This place is the best. Our 5 year son gets his hair cut by Jessica every few weeks and her patience and attitude has been positive from day one. Monique is the owner of this salon. She has a very unprofessional attitude. She quotes a price over the phone and then charges fifteen dollars more after services are completed. She is also bad at mixing color. I could overlook a person's lack of talent but not when they give you an attitude on top of it.
