I go every 4-5 weeks for root touch-ups, treatments, highlights, and trims as needed, and she never disappoints. Other stylists in the salon frequently ask her opinion on formulas, and she even travels across the country to teach coloring techniques. That's how respected she is. What I love most is how she mentors beauty school students and recent grads. She's incredibly detailed when teaching them. Sometimes they assist her, and if she has them shampoo or do anything independently, she always checks their work and asks me for feedback. She's also constantly making sure I'm comfortable by offering me something to drink or checking if I need anything. Tina really listens so she can make sure you get exactly what you want, and she genuinely cares that you're happy when you leave. My mother was a hairdresser, so I ask a lot of questions, and Tina is always happy to answer them thoroughly. Both of my daughters see her too--one for regular trims and the other for highlights, money pieces, and trims. I've even watched her kindly offer her arm to older clients and walk them over to the shampoo bowls. She's thoughtful like that. If something is outside her specialty, she doesn't try to force it--she'll recommend another stylist in the salon. She's not just out to make a buck; she genuinely wants the best result for you. Amazing! Absolutely amazing! I've had long hair my whole life and recently bleached the bottom half at home and decided I wanted my whole head bleached. My wife booked any appointment with Mayra for me because she specializes in color and color corrections, I am shocked at how great my hair looks! She was able to get my almost black hair to a beautiful blonde in one session and it seamlessly blends with the bottom half. Mayra suggested I do a root tap so the grow out would look nice until I could come back and get a touch up and I'm so glad she did because I love how it looks. I am sooooooooo Happy with the results! Thank you Mayra! Oh and the vibe was perfect, chill, relaxing, and fun. Tiffany was there too and made me feel like I was hanging out with friends lol. I walked in with paint covering my hair (I was inspired by Pinterest and painted my ceiling with more than a few droplets falling on my head) and with it completely frizzled from trying at home methods to get it out! Tiffany and Brooke were so sweet they delicately took their time to remove all the paint then gave me the best haircut and treatment, to repair the damage I did at home. I took my daughter (9) here and they also gave her a nice shampooing, kept engaging conversation with her made her feel like a little lady and then added Tinsel which she felt so sassy with ! What an awesome experience it is everytime I come here :) the Salon is clean and always welcoming. Im always greeted with respect and treated like a special guest. Staff is amazing, and my experience with Bretina is always wonderful. I told her how my personality was and the look I waa going for and she created a look that fit my hair style and needs. It is a little pricey, but remember you get what you pay for. You get a scalp and neck massage and your haircut. I had a fantastic experience here! I called last minute to have my hair coloring fixed before my sisters wedding and everyone was so kind from start to finish! Claire fit me in day of and made me feel so comfortable. She and Brooke were precise and knowledgeable and constantly checked in with me about what they were doing with my hair. I absolutely adore this salon! The communication through the Yelp app was seamless, making it so easy to set up a quick appointment. I had the pleasure of being booked with the amazing Breanne, who worked wonders on my unruly bob. I inquired to see if a Demi permanent product was used but was assured that a permanent was used. 5 days after notifying her that I was unhappy with my hair Dianna finally reached back out to me to offer to correct my hair at 7am on one of three days (my original appointment was at 11). When I replied stating that yes, I would take the second day offered she responded stating that it was already taken and could have the third day. I informed her that I was scheduled to work and that would not be possible to make. At this point I made an appointment with my regular stylist (who does not do balayage) for a root touch up as I am unwilling to be seen in public with the hair I was left with. I reached out again to Dianna, this time to see about refunding me the price of a root touch up, not the entire service, as she was unable to accommodate me in appropriate manner, and she replied that she does not offer refunds but would redo my hair. At this pint I have already had to have someone else redo my hair and I will no longer be going to someone who cannot stand behind their work and handle their mistakes timely or appropriately.
