The check was written out perfectly fine and they could not give me a good excuse as to why they could not cash it. So I ended up going to US bank where I have recently opened an account and they had no problems with it at all. They cashed it immediately. This is not the only problem that I have had with the Bank of Little Chute. I would not suggest ever opening up an account here. I would highly recommend US bank instead.

My landlord requires cashier's checks for rent, which were free with my account. After the downgrade, they told me to pay $10 per check, which I found extremely frustrating. I took my money, closed my accounts, and went elsewhere. I kept my credit card because it is my oldest one and helps with my credit score. After closing my accounts, I was not using that card until I accidentally swiped it at a store. I tried to make a payment online, and the system asked me to add a non-Wells Fargo account. I was informed they would send me two deposits that I needed to verify, but without instructions on how to actually do it. I received my deposits along with an email stating that my account was blocked and couldn't be used to pay the card. I called customer service; the first person was very rude and not helpful. The second person told me that I verified the deposit amounts incorrectly, so they blocked the account. I tried to explain that it was impossible because I was calling as I didn't know how to verify. I was told I would need to start the process all over again. I asked to be transferred to the department where I could pay over the phone. There, I had to provide my routing and account number, not just my debit card number like at other banks; that went smoothly. There was no survey after the call, and although their website says they welcome feedback, there is no place to submit it. Leaving this bank was the best decision I've made in a long time. I am cutting up my Visa card so I won't use it by accident again and to avoid dealing with this less-than-reputable organization.

I've been with them for years now and never had a problem until about a year ago. Their "overdraft…read moreprotection" includes charging you $25 for $1.70!!! When I placed an online order they took the money then 2 days later half of it showed back up so I thought my order was reversed because the store didn't have it in stock. So I didn't think anything of it then a WEEK later it's gone again and a couple days later shows up finally it was taken and now resulting in a $25 over draft fee they refuse to fix even though they admitted fault. I had to cancel my card and then because they wouldn't issue a new one I was forced to get a gift card that had another fee attached to it so I could pay bills!!! The number of problems I've had with them is ridiculous I'm moving my money to a fee free account immediately!
