Luckily I came across Kay at Sound Choice and she couldn't have provided a better service. She handled everything for us, all at a very fair price. I honestly didn't have to really do anything besides sit down and talk with her; otherwise she took care of everything. I had my dad cremated, and we had a service for him to celebrate his life. The service area is modern, clean and very pretty compared to some of the other places that we went to (they were dark and smelled). She also ordered a locket for me, which have my dad's cremated remains and finger print on it, so that I can take my dad everywhere with me. Attended a funeral service at Griffith-Cline in Bradenton. Everything was rushed. People were still…read moresigning in and they told everyone to sit down and sign in afterwards. Throughout the service people were told to make it quick. Does any one have a quick story: in sharing antedotes about the deceased. At the end of the service one grim faced employee stood up and announced that it was the end of the service and you should exit if you've already said your condolences. Wow. Really. The other thing I found disturbing is when you come into the funeral "home" you walk through a hall and past a large room that is set up like a gift shop. The room was full of Urns and Caskets and other various funeral items. How very tasteless.
