I've been a resident here for three years and I have really enjoyed living here. The leasing staff have always been nice, responsive, and supportive whenever an "issue" has come up. The maintenance staff are all also nice and knowledgeable, and have always been tentative when I've placed a work order. The buildings and the grounds are maintained, and cleaned regularly, and even when there's an occasional "issue" like side walk ice, a broken door, or an overflowing dog poop trash can the problem is take care of quite fast. I've had great neighbors, above and below me, and naturally when your sharing a building with a diverse range of people and families you get random load noise, funny smells at dinner time, the occasional load movie/music/or kid crying, I can't complain about living here. The pool and the facilities are great (sometimes crowded just with all the families in the community over summer), and the gym is 24/7 - though small it has everything you need. The lock boxes for packages are great, and I appreciate that your personal mail boxes are right in your building lobby. The neighborhood is clean, I love all the trees, and with the complex being well lit, and actively patrolled by the local police for presence, I've always felt comfortable and safe walking during the day and at night here. A lot of the residents I've gotten to know over the years have been here in my building longer than I have, and have all enjoyed it as well. The leasing company has added things to the community over the years to enhance living here and I've appreciated the community. I've had a great experience here, and I hope all the new and current residents do as well. read more

Ok guys, after living here for 3 years and moving next month due to a new duty station I need to update my review. So my previous review, the people upstairs ended up moving out and luckily we got a single man that was hardly ever home. Now, the management and overall living here was a great experience. When we had issues, maintenance was very quick to respond. The only issue here but I think this is the issue with most apartment complexes is the upstairs neighbors because you can hear everything thats going on upstairs. You know where they are, what their phone conversation are about, and what they are watching on tv. That was our only issue. If you do move upstairs just be mindful to your downstairs neighbors. I would definitely move here again if we get the chance to come back. read more

AVOID RENTING HERE I'm a long time resident and quite frankly it's past time that I left. As others have mentioned management has changed hands several times and has gotten progressively worse each time with the new management and staff being horrid. The management is unprofessional, inattentive, and rude. The pandemic has given them an excuse to do even less than they were doing. The walls are thin, the ceilings are thin, you can hear your neighbors walking, talking, watching tv. The appliances are literally the cheapest "HotPoint" brand available. I have a unit with its own entrance which is supposed to be nicer, but I can hear my neighbors, bathroom habits, shower, washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum, and when their baby cries. I also know the local train schedule by heart because you can hear it every time it rolls thru Any request about improving anything do to with the noise is ignored. It takes days for responses for something like a broken toilet. The management and staff seem to be concerned with how to do as little as absolutely necessary, with their primary duties being putting packages into the new mail lockers they put in, and sitting around collecting rent checks. Management can't handle their disputes with waste management company, the lawn service, or other care-taking services such as lawn care, parking lot maintenance and building cleaning. It's a race to the bottom. Since I've lived here, I've had my vehicles broken into, and items stolen. At least one other resident had their vehicle stolen. The Chase Bank there was robbed and tobacco and liquor store was put in across from the CVS. We've had to request extra police patrols since management does nothing, not even closed circuit security cams. The autobody repair has gone in which add extra noise and traffic. The cost of rent has increased while the service has continually decreased. read more

I came in as a potential resident, scheduled a showing with Maria, showed up for my appointment this morning and was told Maria doesn't even work on Mondays. I showed the manager my email stating otherwise, and was told they don't even have any available units to show and was dismissed. 1100 bucks a month to be treated like that? I lived here for about 5 years. The previous owners and management were great. Now that new owners and Eagle management took over we have had no choice but to leave. The sidewalks and parking lots are ALWAYS covered in ice. The pool is freezing cold in the summer to the point that even kids won't go in the cold water. The pool water is always dirty. Don't get me started on the management team. The supervisor is extremely rude and lies. The buildings are not taken care of like they were with previous owners. I had a final walk through when I too was told everything looked great and I would not be charged then sent a carpet cleaning bill. I even asked if we should clean the carpet prior to moving and was told "no it looks great." Save your money an move elsewhere. This complex has gone downhill very quickly over the last two years and is not getting any better. read more

If I could rate it at a zero I would. The previous management company was great but the current ones are completely rude. Lost our checks on multiple occasions and once we moved out are now claiming we owe them for new carpet. When I did the walk through the lady said everything was great. Then several weeks later we get a over $700 charge saying they have to replace the carpet, that the manager Nick accidentally said it hasn't been replaced in 5 years. We only lived there one year. So there were possibly four other leases between when the carpet was originally installed until we moved in. We forked over a non refundable cleaning fee as I'm sure the other tenants did, which I'm assuming the carpets were shampooed and deep cleaned. These people are evil. Don't move in here! read more

I loved living here - I lived here twice!! I lived in a 2 bedroom the first time (Which has it's own entrance) and then a 1 bedroom when I moved back. The apartments are all well maintained and fairly up to date. You have an icemaker, dishwasher, laundry, tons of cabinet space. Even the one bedroom that's 700-800sq ft seems large. You have huge windows which allows a lot of natural light in. It's pet friendly, which is huge for me. They have an amazing 24 hour gym, a pool. It's a little gem in Round Lake and I would absolutely refer any of my friends here. I've never had any issues with any neighbors. I'm on the second floor and I really never hear much noise except for the train every so often but now I'm used to it I don't even hear it. The maintenance staff is phenomenal. They are always very quick to respond and fix everything quickly. Everyone is so honest and friendly. You couldn't ask for more really. They make everything really easy, you never have to stress. For convenience, there is a Chase bank within walking distance as is a CVS, Great Clips, gas station, Subway and a few others. Jewel and some shopping isn't far off and you are close to Gurnee Mills. The only reason I am moving is because I work in Lincolnshire and the commute there (45-1 hour each way) is just killing me. I'm in the office longer hours so I needed to be closer. However... if my job ever changes I can guarantee this would be the first place I think of to moving back. If you are looking for an apartment (1-2 bedrooms), pet friendly, in the Round Lake/Lake Villa/Gurnee Area, please check this place out, I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

Absolutely love this place. The management cares about u and they make it so easy to move in. The prices are great and you can see them ahead of time online which makes it even better. I have had a great experience thus far with the apartment and me and my girlfriend both love it. It's new it's clean and if you ever have any maintenance issues they fix it within the day if not within 24 hours 100%. The only downside is you can hear the train pretty close and in the middle of the morning and late at night and you can hear the train horns it's kind of hard to go to sleep but other than that you're close to the train so you could take the train to the city if you need to and you're close to Volo and you can go shopping there are also close to college of lake county if you attend there which is what I'm doing. The best part about this place is that the prices are unbeatable. I love it. read more

when the habitat owned this apartment complex it was great. but with eagle management running things - i would never ever rent here. they are scams and liars and cheats. please do no ever rent under eagle management. me and my husband rented and during the last year before we decided to move, eagle management took over. claiming they aren't changing our lease. per our lease we had to leave the apartment in the shape it come in. and we did. i have tons of video and photographs to prove how the apartment was left. this is how many of the tents left their apartments and are now getting charged to basically remodel the entire apartment. i have numerous friends who left because eagle management failed to take care of the sidewalks in the winter, the noise complaints and their tents. they are straight up assholes. even their head management team is bullshit. save yourself the troubles and rent somewhere else. liars cheaters assholes is all this place is good for while eagle management is there. read more

My husband and I have lived here for almost a year, and couldn't be happier. The staff is incredibly helpful whenever we have questions and maintenance requests are nearly always taken care of within 24 hours (depending on issue and when the request was submitted). We have one of the largest apartments in the complex, and it is incredibly spacious and it feels more like a little house than an apartment. All of our neighbors are friendly and respectful. The only think I am not wild about is that the floors seem slightly bouncy on the second (probably third floor as well). So when you walk too heavily/walk very quickly by the kitchen or the tv (set on a stand against the wall) things seem to shake a little. I wouldn't recommend doing jumping jacks not near doorways. However, that being said we have not had a problem with stuff falling though, so it's not really an issue, more of just a minor annoyance. If you are looking to move to the Round Lake area, this is a beautiful little oasis of a complex. It is very safe, comfortable, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend taking a look at this place if you are in the market. read more

Rude staff, nosy maintenance (called my husband about maintenance needed to be done, came and did work without either of us present). These people only care about money. They want to charge us and arm and a leg for everything. So many fees just to get an apartment here/move. Thank God our lease is almost over so we can move. One more thing, don't leave a bad review on them with your name present or they'll hunt you down and ask you to take it down. Also, when confronting them about an issue, they went on to inform my husband that I was lying. Don't live here if you like to have extra cash, or if you like to have nice customer service. And more about nosy maintenance people; One day as I was minding my own business, a man hired by this place to cute grass, weedeat, etc. was looking into my window. read more

Overpriced and you pay for everything. The area has gone downhill. Crime is high. I moved in with a checklist. When I moved out I was told to go over the checklist. All I did was put a couple paintings up which caused a few little nail holes in the walls also I don't smoke cigs or cigars . A couple months later I received a bill in the mail for smoke damage ? Anyway along with that and the shitty area I would not recommend living here. read more

Coventry Glen is a wonderful place to live, especially for first time renters. We lived there for 2.5 years and loved every minute of it. The property staff is very friendly and helpful. The free 24 hour gym and use of the office were great to have at our disposal. It is nice and quiet, beautiful scenery, they have a nice little park for the kids to play in and a volleyball net set up. The pool is always neat and clean and the path for walking/running is beautiful. We have been gone for a week and already miss the smiling friendly faces of the staff.
