Even after I called twice, and two different people got my information into the system, I never received an email confirmation. When I called for the third time, I was told just to call in at the time of my appointment that someone would be ready to help even if I didn't receive the email confirmation. Of course, that was the wrong information. I called at my confirmed time and got a "let me see if someone is available". I moved meetings around to be available for this call and I was baffled by the lack of respect. The ladies were very polite and helpful, but something is broken with their reservation system or Troy just doesn't care that much. I would skip this one.

This company was great and a pleasure to deal with until recently. I've used this company since…read more2023 and had no issues until this year. I normally select direct deposit and have the preparer fees taken from my refund, which I will never do again. Unfortunately this year, things have changed. I did not get my refund as expected. I submitted a check trace with the IRS and an investigation with Green Dot bank. Green Dot provided me with the information that my checks were already cashed. Which was news to me since I always select DD. They have also provided me with copies of the checks, complete with a signature that is very obviously not mine. Now maybe it was stolen from the mail and I wanted to give Mr. Williams benefit of the doubt. However, when I asked if he could find out what happened- he went silent after multiple attempts at following up with him. Another suspicious thing is the status in Green Dot shows a status of "Printed by tax preparer" for my refund check. Again I wanted to give him benefit of the doubt, but I think we can all guess what happened there. I am filing charges and hope to get my refund, but it may be awhile. Very stupid on his part, check fraud is a federal crime. Please beware and do not use this company for your tax preparation. Mr. Williams has done this to others, just read the reviews especially on Google.
