I took a new pair of Redwing boots in to get zippers put in the sides. One boot was perfect. I wish that I could say the same for the other one. One side of the zipper starts lower than the other side and sticks 3/8" out the top of the boot. When it was brought to their attention she tried to justify the poor quality of craftsmanship. We had 2 boots done here and was very disappointed, one boot had the heal to fix and it came back with dried glue down the heal and looks terrible. The other boot needed some stitching done and it was stitched with nothing close to the color and wasn't in the same holes it was before. Also the lady who's the owner was very rude when I called to ask if they were done 3 weeks later. I don't recommend this shop. read more

This shop is great all around. Quality and fast repairs on my favorite boots. I was in Wichita for work and needed one of my boots repaired because it was one of only two pairs of shoes I brought with for this trip. Brought them in and picked up same day. I'm sure that is not possible with all repairs but they will be done earlier than expected. read more

I have had a terrible time trying to get a pair of new cowboy boots died black. This was literally my 3rd to 4th attempt at finding a business to do this simple task. I called a man there ahead of time and to check to see if they dyed boots and how much it was. The cost of the job was actually less then what I was quoted over the phone. I was VERY pleased with job they did. If I have other work to be done, this will be the place I use even though it is an hour drive to get there. read more

I dropped off an new axe to get a leather case made for it last year (2013). I wasn't in any hurry for it since I had intended to use it for motorcycle camping. After numerous visits and calls , the owner gave me very excuse from, no leather, bad leather, sewing machine broke, I finally went and retrieved the axe myself. Nothing had been done. I w/n recommend this shop to anyone for the exceptionally poor service and numerous lies that I had been told. read more

I would not give this business any stars if possible because of the extremely poor service and unprofessionalism of the shop owner. Due to an apparent miscommunication between shop owner and myself, I purchased two wrong size belts and had names stamped on them. When I returned the belts to the shop, after disputing my claim that he had ok'd the sizes I had purchased, he relented and agreed to stamp the proper size belts. One size was in stock, the other was on order. He told us the in-stock belt would be ready on Thursday; it being Monday or Tuesday (to be fair, he did not specify WHICH Thursday). My husband went to the shop the following week to pick up the belt but was told it was not yet ready. We returned a week or so later and told the counter girl why we were there. The shop owner was in conversation with another customer at the counter so we patiently waited 5-7 minutes while he continued talking. The customer obviously realized we were waiting to be waited upon and kept trying to edge farther away but the shop owner just kept talking at him. Finally, we were able to tell the shop owner we were there for the belt; shop owner disappeared into the back and after a time we heard the distinct sounds of him obviously stamping the belt while we waited. When he returned with the finished belt, we gave him the second belt, which was now in stock, and he returned to the back where he stamped that belt also. We felt it was very rude and deliberate of the shop owner to 1) ignore and keep us waiting while he rambled on to a finished customer and 2) the fact that he did not even bother to do the belt until we had returned a second time. I would not recommend this business to anyone and felt that the workmanship done on the belts was below par for a "professional." read more
