To my surprise, I was informed that I would still be charged a 50% cancellation fee. I explained that only a few minutes had passed since placing the order and that no actual service had been performed. Despite this, they still processed the charge. Charging customers a substantial cancellation fee within minutes of booking, especially when no tow truck was dispatched, and no services were rendered, feels extremely unfair and misleading. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company and would encourage others to carefully review their business practices before using their services.

Castro's gave us the total fee during our phone call. They took only 45 minutes to arrive after we called. In comparison, after 4.5 hours on two different holds with GEICO, GEICO had not acquired a tow truck for us. GEICO's towing service is a waste of your time and your money. Meanwhile, Castro's was careful with the front apron on my daughter's SUV, so that it was not scraped as her SUV was towed onto the tilt-bed. They got us to our auto body shop quickly and didn't charge us until the car was delivered. I will call Castro's FIRST the next time I need a tow in Tarrant County.
