I had hired KCs Outdoor Solutions to build our fence and stain it. Once our fence was put up, I did…read morea walk through and was not happy with the work done, I marked anything that I wasn't happy with, Kaci the owner came out and she wasn't happy with the work either and it seemed like we were on the same page and agreed the fence needed to be redone, their guy also sawed down the metal posts which are still protruding from the ground including a huge mess of concrete poured over the yard which I now need to pay someone just to get that concrete up and get the metal posts up from the ground, Cody her husband came out the next day alone and he was so mad and agreed to only fix half of what I was unhappy with because he said some of the things I marked were "normal and that's just how wood is and all wood has minor flaws", I could feel the tension like he was mad at me for speaking up and not being happy, but this wasn't a cheap project. After replacing half the boards, I paid them for building the fence but I'm still not happy as there's so much I need to fix about 45 boards left to fix plus the concrete mess and digging up the old posts. The next day I noticed that our fence gate wouldn't stay shut and my dogs escaped so I chased them down the street, the slightest bit of wind blew it open so I had to put bricks in front of the gate in case the wind blew it open. Kaci said they would be back to fix it but then said they were too busy and the materials I needed to fix it were at Lowes. Kaci then proceeds to tell me that they don't have time to stain the fence they have too many customers to build for and didn't have time to "finish the job they originally agreed to" and tried to pass me off to another business that could stain it for me. They have blocked me from their fb business page I'm guessing I made them mad for pointing out their flawed work. Cody has sent me threatening nasty messages calling me names, he's even driven past my house when I had another fence company here. I have seen the other reviews on fb or Nextdoor app with others that aren't happy as well, but you can do your own research on that. Some customers are happy with their work and that's great for them. Also this isn't a post trying to be hateful, this was MY experience with this company, & I hope in the near future they can take some accountability and be a little nicer to their customers. Always do your research before going with a company, read the reviews, going with a cheaper company may cost you more in the long run, save yourself that headache.Also- IF you have been a customer of KCs Outdoor Solutions and had issues with them I encourage you to speak up.

He let me know of a void under the slab at one place that he was able to fill. And he did a great job of drilling in the grout between tiles so the tiles in the entry didn't chip. Brandon came along behind him and leveled off where the mixture came up through the holes, and dusted away concrete residue. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because they were late due to a meeting at headquarters that ran overtime, and when they hit my mailbox on the way out they didn't come back to tell me. But their work is 5-star.

They spend 5 hours in my home (I am a retired widow living alone) and pressured me to sign right then, even offering a big discount if I did. They did not want to allow me to think about it or discuss it with anyone, but did call some finance company to "help" me get a loan. I am still getting their calls. This is a franchise whose goal is to get your money. After getting engineers' reports and 6 other quotes, I found a reputable company and the work was done at less than half the quote of Groundworks. Save your money and use a local company, and ALWAYS get an engineer's report first.
