I was a tenant here from 2016 until 2020. The first manager…read morewas amazing. She helped with anything I needed and was super nice. The new management was another story. Tirzah smoked cigarettes right outside of our business. Her unprofessionalism was unbelievable because she was petty on behalf of her friend who decided to open the same business as us. She moved her friend right next to us, came into our building without asking on the weekends (we have video proof), let her friend take things from our unit and then even tried to raise our rent on us hoping to drive us out. We rented 3 spaces from here and the 3rd space had a disgusting floor. We asked if they could clean or replace the floor before we moved in but she told us she could not so I paid for the floors to be replaced. She agreed if we replaced the floor, she could do the free trimming for us. The job she did was A JOKE and I have posted photos of it on yelp. I have held back from writing anything but since we have moved out, I still feel like these problems need to be addressed because there is no way a manager of a building where people operate their business should treat tenants in this way. They made a huge hole in our wall and told us they would fix it but never did. No explanation on what the hole was even for. We also told them we did not have hot water in November of 2019 because of something they messed with. In January of 2020 I reminded if she could fix the hot water, and she rudely said she will. Then quarantine happened. Months passed and the hole in the wall hasn't been fixed, yet she's still charging every month for rent ... which makes no sense because weren't we paying rent for them to fulfill their landlord duties? In June when we could open up again and the stay at home order was lifted, we asked if they had fixed the hot water issue so our clients could wash their hands because it was essential for us to have for our business and she replies she had been too busy to do it. We moved out July of 2020 and moved out all of our things and they still charge us cleaning fees. Extremely unprofessional to come into our unit without notice, not fix essential things to keep our business operating, and reply to tenants in the way she did. Flash forward to the end of July when we had already moved out of the work spaces -- you would think that our problems would end there. We needed to change our address so Google sent us mail to the work spaces in order to confirm our address. We had emailed Tirzah asking for her to keep an eye out for the mail but she instead confirmed that we were still at the old addresses which complicated our clients' appointments because Google would route them to Creative Work Space. I have accounts from numerous clients who have told me they went to our old location, only to be told by the manager that we were still there and pointing them into the direction of her friend's business. The logical thing would've been to inform our clients that we have moved instead of sending them on a goose chase. To anyone thinking of moving here, don't! There's sketchy people around the building and there's never parking anywhere. Not to mention the shared bathrooms always get vandalized and smell terrible. The bathroom doesn't lock so people can walk in on you.

I should…read morehave realized all was not well, when my husband and I waited in the reception area and a staff member ignored us (we thought she was a client using the breakroom, but she was an employee). Run-- do not walk-- away from signing ANY contracts with Regus. The Area Sales Manager, Josefine Pokhias, will reel you in with charm, and you are then absolutely stuck and trapped. After my husband and I signed the contract, we thought better of it weeks before the lease term began, but could NOT get the contract terminated. I did an online review of Regus (too late!), and this is how they operate. We are stuck paying for this contract even thought we are not using the service. There is no way out either-- conferring with our lawyer, we learned that the contract is a "gotcha" contract of the worst kind. Appealing to the Lead Community Manager, Jill Dayton, did no good whatsoever.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business in my life and it's not even close. I…read moreexperienced multiple significant billing errors, no one willing to help or take accountability and then months and months of harassing emails, phone calls and voice mails. It was shocking and if I had more time and money, I would have hired a lawyer. This company is a completely unprofessional mess. It started with talking to a few different sales people while looking for a simple, small office. Their sales system felt like buying a used car. The approach is pretty much, how much are you willing to pay for this office? At first I was impressed as the Regus building and offices in Barkley Village were quite nice. The first sign of trouble though was when I got a $1700 charge on my credit card from Regus despite the fact that I was all up-to-date on money owed. I showed a Regus rep my statement that made it clear I was up-to-date and asked to get a credit asap. They indicated it could be a little slow in getting the refund as their help desk was busy. After a few weeks of further follow up but no action, the office manager at Regus Barkley said I could try to go through a manager named Ashley Hoon at the Regus office Bellevue, WA, but warned me she was usually unresponsive. Turns out it was well over a month and many attempts before getting the $1700 back . After that first billing error, I soon got hit with more erroneous charges. Not only did I have trouble getting the charges taken off again but they kept hounding me with emails, phone calls and voice mails. Before long I was threatened with a collection agency, all because of their mistakes. This was incompetence and indifference the likes of which I have never seen in my life. To stop even more erroneous charges, I ultimately had to shut down my credit card as they kept charging me and there was no way to remove the card from their account management website. Then I had to go through the trouble of resetting my card information with like 20 other companies who I use it with. The whole experience was a nightmare. If you are looking for office space or co-working space seek any other option besides Regus. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

This meant I had to go to another location further outside of the city than I wanted to be. During my 2 year lease they switched over accounting systems which resulted in them losing one of my payments, misassigning another payment, and taking 2 extra rent payments out of my account in the middle of the month without warning (resulting in NSF fees because I didn't know they were going to take it and had my money in savings) . They issued me late fee invoices on the payments they had lost. There must have been multiple occurrences of this because they launched a nation-wide investigation into the new accounting system, which resulted in a senior executive sending out a mass email to their entire clientele admitting to the issue, apologizing for it, and asking for patience as they reconcile. But after months of back and forth they made no amends, did not refund my NSF fees, or cancel my late fee invoices. I asked them for a letter to the Credit Bureau to correct my credit rating for the 2 NSF fees which they admitted were their mistake because I had actually paid my bills on time. But they refused to do it. I would consider this to be a highly mis-managed company and would not do business with them again.
