Their estimate was outrageous- we needed two outdoor faucets replaced that were leaking. Their bid of $1200 included over $1,000 in labor charges alone. I asked for a breakdown of charges but didn't really get a clear answer. I hired someone else, licensed and bonded, and the job took 90 minutes, including a run to the hardware store. $1,000 for basically an hour of pretty simple work felt like an incredible ripoff to us. We paid more for the estimate fee to Cross and Sons than we ended up spending on parts and labor with a friendlier company.

I told him I had a previous company that came out but my toliet continues to get clogged and this time over flowed to downstairs . He told me that the issue could be in the pipes If I had some one to snake it and replace parts . He just proceeded to tell me what he think the issue is but could not look at anything unless the warranty company gave him permission. So he sat on my tub and got on the phone . He said the toliet was not clogged because I had unclogged it. I wanted them too check things out he refused to do anything but charge me 85. I asked can he snake it he says no ..can you change a part he said no ... so I preceded to say you came out and did NOTHING. He also had said if the warranty would not pay he would do the work with his company so at that point I knew i Was getting ripped off. I lost 85 and canceelled the service with Choice Warrenty lost money for doing that . On top of that the guy asked why I had an attitude he trying to help . I was very professional and just told Him I never had someone say they think this is the issue and did nothing else . I will tell all my friends and family not to use Premium PLumbling or Choice Warrenty . Worst experience ever lost 85.00 in fifteen minutes and the guy did NOTHING!!! They recommended a remediation company, and that company did perform the work. Unfortunately, that entire process turned into a complete nightmare and has caused ongoing issues. Later, I had contractors do some work and called Premier back out to check the plumbing. At that visit, they quoted me nearly $2,000 for work they claimed was necessary. Fortunately, I had another licensed plumber scheduled right after them, and that plumber confirmed that almost everything Premier said I needed was unnecessary. After reading other reviews, I'm now questioning whether I even needed the original remediation they recommended in the first place. Overall, the entire experience felt like a cycle of referrals, rising costs, and very little transparency. Based on my experience, I would be very cautious before using this company.

My family and I recently purchased an older home. The existing pipes were galvanized…read more I requested quotes from 4 plumbers to remove all galvanized pipe and I stressed from the meter to the house (Main line). My top 3 quotes all included replacing the galavanized pipes and a new hot water heater, which I needed. I personally called Doug and told him I wanted all the galvanized pipes replaced from the meter main line. He said they can do it and to text him my info. Within a week I chose them. They were the cheapest he said he'd beat my lowest offer and he did by a little. We confirmed the work to remove all galvanize pipes, install Pex, and install the heat. Doug and Scott came Thursday May 23rd and completed the work Friday May 24th around 8pm. He advised they had problems getting the right part from the supply house. I asked him if he changed all the galvanized pipes he said 'Yes ma'am'. The next morning we were able to go into the basement but saw the main water line was not done. The main pipe that brings water INTO the house. I believe they just didn't want to do it because it took longer than they thought. I told him I was confused as to why he didn't do that. I asked for it. He said he didn't quote me for that... that is incorrect and I have the estimate and message that says "replace galvanized pipe". I asked Scott about it and he said that Doug is the boss and they went back and forth about it but Doug decided not to do it because he didn't quote me for it. Well... Doug sent me an estimate and had several conversations via text with me saying he would replace the galavanized pipes. Doug represented his estimate as the full services I requested. He confirmed to me that he was replacing ALL galvanized pipe. He NEVER told me he was not doing the main pipe. I would have never chose his quote. It didnt make sense to do so. I wanted the all galvanized pipes replaced. Doug commited Fraud. Doug had the nerve to tell me they would go back and do the water line for the discounted price of $800 since they were already doing work on my pipes. They usually charge 1800. They owe me between $1600-1800. Pending. Doug is slow to respond and ignored my request for a refund. They left trash (coke bottles, wrappers) in my yard and basement and old pipe pieces everywhere. I have photos. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This is clearly unethical. We called their office multiple times to explain, they refused to make things right.
