I let them take advantage of our family…read more TLDR: I believe they overcharged us. $409 for 5 seconds of diagnostics and 25 min of labor including 3 trips to the truck (one was to retrieve a replacement pin for one that had been dropped in to the wall), and a $60 part that they itemized as $340 on my bill. I called multiple times to speak with the field manager and was not able to connect with him. We had a leak in our shower that the technician with five seconds of looking at it determined he was 99% confident on what the issue was. He started repairs at 1:46 PM and finished at 2:11 PM with everything working. Our work starting window being (11-2pm) My issue comes with the fact that I think they overcharged us for the job that they did. After writing the check and thinking over the entire interaction, I began to feel very uneasy with how everything played out. I was not given a breakdown prior to the service beginning. Only a line on a phone to sign that I agreed to the price. I was not offered the opportunity to read what I was signing (nor did I ask, which is my fault.) no shoe covers were worn in our home which now has subsequent consequences for my time of needing to get out of the spot cleaner. Only after the project had been complete was I given an explanation of what labor went on (again my fault for not asking prior to). When I initially made the appointment, I was given the price for the service call, but I neglected to ask what their minimum job cost is (still not sure of what that is). Afterwards, I called the office trying to get a better idea of why the cost was so high. My frame of reference being that we had had a kitchen faucet and a disposal replaced within the last year with Fitzgerald and neither of these items including parts cost more than $400. The lady in the office was very kind and offered to put me in touch with the field manager. He did give me a call back after a few days however I was not in a place to chat with my Twins screaming in the backseat. I did call two other times to try and get in touch with him and have not received a call back to date. Overall, I learned a lot from this experience, and I believe it's important to share so that others understand how to advocate for themselves in an area in which they might not be technically skilled. Ultimately, they are well within their right to cash my check because I did agree to the price. I however will be asking a lot more questions next time, and probably be seeking a different company. I took their marketing for face value and feel like stewardship was mishandled. Our technician rusty was great! Very respectful that we had three children napping when he came to do repairs. After the repair, he explained to me what he did. Was very courteous to me. My only qualm was that he did not wear shoe covers and our home and had to walk through our master bedroom that has beige carpet and I will need to get out our spot cleaner to clean this up.

We have been customers of Comfort Solutions for over 8 years...and wouldn't go with anyone else…read more We initially retained them for annual maintenance on our HVAC system when we first purchased our house when we moved to the Atlanta area, the existing unit was about 11 years old at the time and we always keep household units under maintenance contracts. When we needed to install a new unit, Comfort Solutions was definitely priced competitively and awesome in getting everything up and running. We've had a few manufacturing issues, and Comfort has responded exceptionally well to ensure that our unit was kept up and running. This locally owned company does it right...they stand behind you and their products and services, no matter what. Strongly recommend them for servicing, new units or annual maintenance contracts. They are definitely the way to go.

Follow-Up Review: Continued Refusal to Address Significant Damage…read more I'm posting this follow-up to inform potential customers that Assured Comfort Heating, Air, and Plumbing still refuses to accept responsibility for the significant damage caused to my home--originally exceeding $100,000 in mold remediation and repairs. During an attempt to correct their own sloppy workmanship, they caused an additional $4,000 in secondary damage, which their insurance company did not cover and they refuse to reimburse. Despite being formally served by the Marshal's Office, Assured Comfort has failed to respond to my small claims court filing. As a result, I'm now pursuing a default judgment in Fulton County Superior Court. Given the unprofessional service, extensive damage, and complete lack of accountability, I strongly advise prospective customers to seek a different provider--there are many reputable options in the area, such as CoolRay, Premier Indoor Comfort, and Casteel Heating and Cooling, all of which can be easily found on Google with far better reviews and ratings. Don't risk going through the nightmare I've experienced with Assured Comfort.

The original contractor that installed our Air Handler were atrocious. The unit was not installed right, building codes were violated, parts were not replaced, vents were restricted, and the emergency heat didn't work, fuses were blowing on a weekly basis. After 2 other companies failed to come fix our unit, our warranty company assigned Anglin air to come out. I got my first phone call the same day they were assigned to the case. The dispatcher, Judy, did an A1 job throughout the entire process. From scheduling, to updates, to detailing what needed to be done, I was informed the whole way through. Not to mention, I was in Utah for 4 days and these guys did the ENTIRE job before I got home. I trusted them to get in and out, sight unseen to me, and just relying on my home security system to make sure there was no funny business. Came home on the fourth day and went to our attic to inspect the work. They did a compete makeover. Changing supports, adding new duct work, replacing the duct tape I had to use to keep the thing in one piece with actual concrete plaster-like material. Turned on the air and swoosh all systems are on full blast. I even noticed some insulation reinforcement on our freon lines which were not there before. I'm no HVAC expert but I seriously wish I had these guys the first time around. This ordeal was a complete nightmare until Anglin sent their troops in. I used them for years to recharge my system. After techs determined my single stage system was beyond repair. I opted to replace it with a variable speed unit. I was told that I needed to replace my water heater, because the new unit was wider than the opening, and was being blocked by the water heater. The job was not specified correctly, nor double checked for compatibility. The indoor unit that was installed was not compatible with the outdoor unit. At the end of the 2nd day the correct parts will installed to get the now 2 stage system functioning as a 1 stage system. The 3rd appointment was a no show. The 4th appointment verified that an additional $300. In parts would be needed, but not in stock, and would require a 5th appointment. The new unit was narrow enough to fit past the old water heater. $1,200. For a new, lower quality, water heater was a needless expense. I opted to complete the install myself, pulled new wires, installed thermostats zone control board and programmed both the control board and the inside. They worked with me with pricing, but I would have ended up with a higher quality system for less money, days earlier. Really nice people.
