Jeffrey ended up getting my 90 day breathalyzer sentance turned into a 2 YEAR sentence because of his complete lack of effort in my case. in hindsight, I would've been better off representing myself and i would've saved myself a lot of money doing it. My mother and I live well over an hour away but chose him due to his "years of experience", we clearly made a horrible judgement call. He refused to speak to both of us on a 3 way call because we both work very different hours and had no time to personally drive the hour+ drive to his office just to have a phone conversation. If you want to talk to him, just know that it will take at least 3-5 business days to receive a call back no matter how many times michelle promises he will call you back ASAP. He never looks at your case until the day of court and therefore usually doesn't have a clue about what's going on. He will go to court dates for you and never let you know the outcome until you repeatedly call his office and wait days at a time for a response. Save yourself the time and stay as far away from him as possible.

That attorney was a bit too…read morebusy to handle a complex custody case and I like when the person I'm paying is responsive and let's me know what is happening if I ask a question and not ignore me for days at a time. I spoke to several others in the area and Johnathan was the ONLY one to give me a straight and honest response about my case. He did not give me false hope by telling me I would get everything I asked for. He instead was realistic with me and he is extremely responsive! If I have any sort of issue he responds to my email so quickly and I know that is not the case for most family attorneys. We are still in the process of getting everything ready so I will update how it goes during hearings etc... but so far he's the right guy for the job. When I asked my original attorney about the three people I interviewed he hands down told me Mr. Marks was the way to go and he wouldn't drain my account like the other ones and he is very good at what he does.
