Me & my sisters on our 2nd night.
    Lila Y.

Loved It!! Me & my sister planned doing this for a couple of months and we were very nervous. But we definitely got over that super quick, Steven the amazingly funny security guard greeted us & made us smile. We came back the very next night & Steven along with the staff made us feel welcome once again. Drinks were great, music was good, atmosphere was top tier & I cannot wait to go back!!

Last time I was at Coyote Joe's, was with Merle Haggard, back in the 90s. Brought back great memories, and it's still a real Country honky tonk. Good time!

Always a good time here, sometimes the staff are grumpy, but I still come back because I always have a good time with my friends and I love the country atmosphere even if there are a lot of city people here

$9 cover, cash only bar, $3 atm fee, and charges for water. Gave a bad Dave and Busters vibe

Ton of fun! Spent new year's night there. Even the regular line dancing patrons are supper friendly.

The ambiance early in the evening is relaxed outdoor seating needs to update the benches they're not comfortable and the woods starting to warp but, decent music, and a solid cocktail menu. It's the kind of place where you can actually hear your conversation and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. However, as the night progresses and the vibe shifts into more of a "clubby" scene which ended up being a perfect combo but let's talk charges.. feels steep for what's essentially a modest venue without standout features. Drink prices were high like the cover but not in a way that reflects upgraded quality or service. For the area, there are other spots offering more for the same price or even less but with cozy comforts and inside seating, nicer facilities so it's easy to find things not to love if you come here to support a DJ friend like I did than pay the cover and mingle. It's not a bad place by any means, and the early lounge experience is definitely a highlight followed up with the banging DJ club scene after...it's just the paying premium rates for a relatively average experience for me.

The guy even explained that he wanted to meet the band after and have them sign his poster. Too bad. They sent various other people back to their cars for other minor things too. It did not make sense or make us feel any safer. It just made going to a show feel like a chore. Once we were inside we all wanted to grab a beer. This is definitely not the place to do that! They had about 5 beers to choose from all of which I would never ever drink nor would anyone else in our group which is saying a lot because we all have pretty diverse tastes. All of the beers were like $18, even the garbage beers. I expect that price as we pay $19/beer at the hockey games but the arena offers a great selection. I'll pay $19 for a good beer. I saved lots of money at The Underground since they don't have any beer worth drinking. The bartenders at the bar on the left were not friendly and not interested in answering any questions. We ventured to the bar on the right and a few of us ordered mixed drinks.

I didn't even see a handicapped seating area. Lighting is decent and one major positive was they had the a.c. cranked up high on the July evening we were there, when it was like 95 degrees outside. 2 major drawbacks...1. There's literally NOWHERE to park in the area for free. Th cheapest lot we found was around the corner and at the end of the street in a gravel lot and it was 12 bucks. Parking right at the venue is 40 bucks. 2. Drink and beer prices inside are way high. A shaker cup cocktail is 20 bucks and it's ALL ice. Refills are 17 bucks!!!! Another thjng I didn't like is that the box office is not attached to the venue and is up the street and they didn't take cash for tickets there. They also don't give you a paper ticket...they digitally text you a receipt and your tix too. Security has a walk through metal detector and they wand folks as well.

Unless you arrive early before the music starts, the parking is terrible there and sometimes I feel unsafe to walk through those alleys in the dark alone. However the guard to the place has given me the worst impression without respect or common sense a few times that discouraging me to go there again. When I asked my friends if they experienced that, a few even said they had never been asked to show ID to go into the place. Perhaps we are Asian female and look strange. At one time, my friend came from other state and left her driver license in the car at my home. She showed that she had a copy of ID, We are all beyond 50's, the security said she had to have the real driver license. Come on give us a break? We had to drive home to get it. Last night, I went there myself, not only this guard examined my driver's license to see if that's real, check my bag and even asked me to open my jacket that was just an pullover. What authorities did he had? That's an insult to a female. Should this place hire a female guard for female as well? Someone is wrong with those guys. A smooth and easy check-in and I was able to talk to Todd before the show. I've seen him several times when he collaborates with other musicians but this was the first time solo. He played a mix of originals and covers. After several songs others joined him for several songs. They were all great on a Dave Mason original, Feelin Alright. Many know the song from the Joe Cocker cover. The band was great, Todd with some great guitar licks and a lead riff, the bass player was laying the line, the drummer on time and the keyboard player, Bazz The GranDude, with a nice mini-solo. Very impressed with the lady on the mixing board. She was out front on her iPad and got the vocal & instrument mix solid. It was a fun time and I hope to return before the summers done.
