I came here with my husband and some friends to hit some golf balls on the driving range on a…read moreholiday Monday. Mt. Paul golf course offers a 9 hole par 32 course. Their driving range has 20 covered stalls on ground level, and 10 stalls on the upper deck. We didn't have any golf clubs with us, so we had to rent everything. Club rental is $2 each, which is pretty good. The cost for a bucket of balls is $4 for a small, $7 for a medium, and $9.50 for a large bucket. This seemed a bit expensive to me since I'm used to paying ~$6 for a bucket of balls in Vancouver. However, they offer a great deal which is a large bucket of balls and breakfast for $10 before 11 AM if you're an early bird. You pay for the bucket inside, and you get a receipt with a code on it. You take that code to the ball machine on the right side of the driving range, and fill the bucket there. The driving range is nice in that it has huge nets caging in the range, so there's no loose balls flying everywhere. It also makes it easier to see where the ball goes if you consistently slice left or right (like I do). I also like that you get a nice view of the hills in the area, and can enjoy the driving range without being cooked in the sun. The course was in great shape, they set up dinner and dessert for us and even stocked the beer cart with his favourite drinks. They were friendly, professional, and fast with food and drinks. The price was very reasonable and we definitely would recommend it to others! Thanks for saving my butt and making my husbands day.

Oddly, maybe because the pace of play was good, we didn't see a Player's Assistant on the course the entire round. We used the Red Book to get a discount. Call me cheap but at that rate, I would play again but likely not at the regular rate.

We've stayed at…read moreRustic Cabins 7A and 1, and I prefer 7A for the added space and seclusion from neighbours. 7A is a short 5 min walk from the shower house/washrooms which lets you appreciate the starry night sky and catch a glimpse of the snow hares that hop by the solar panels. If you don't want to walk, you can drive and park by the front office lot. Showerhouse: super clean, warm, spacious, flush toilets, hot showers, tap to fill up on water as the rustic cabins don't have running water. Rustic cabins: Full size fridge, oven, gas stove, electricity, wood stove (for heat). 7A doesn't have extra outlets so we had to unplug the oven to charge cell phones etc. Fully stocked with plates/bowls/cutlery/pots/pans/paper towels/dish soap. Bring your own bedding and food. Fishing is a love/hate relationship - its a bit of a tricky lake to get a hang of but the regulars love it and come back every year. Might want to have at least AWD coming in as its quite hilly and snowy but we did peep a civic parked at the front office lot. Richard/Debbie and the crew are very friendly and helpful.

We did the online special. 9 holes, power cart, 2 drinks, $35. Ya. Can't beat that deal. And Friday night is Buffet night. $14.95. Delish. Best deal in town.

I love the topography of the course. The course is in excellent shape. We only play 9 . Today, we had cart, green fee for $ 24. Bar-goon !!!!!! Weather was great. Not even too busy. I like the new menu in the restaurant too . We saw a whole flock ( if that is the right word ) of Big Horn Sheep on the course.

They legitimately can't be released into the wild so these are a bunch of disabled animals who are cared for so they can stay alive. Nice place to walk around. Just hated the compost toilets. Gross. If you're gonna make tiny buildings, might as well make proper bathrooms! Gift shop has a lovely selection. My kids cajoled me into buying two small crocheted bears that are apparently made by one of the employees. And if you buy $50 worth of merchandise you can get a tax receipt. Cheeseburgers at the Blue Heron restaurant were decent.

We are here in the first week of June and the weather is beautiful with flowers blooming which makes the park even more amazing! Parking is available but can get busy during nice weather days!! There is also Gelato Shops nearby (hint hint), get a nice double scoop and savour the creamy sweetness while walking along the park! * No Dogs Allowed in this park.

I had a great time here and had to come twice to on two different days to catch rare or exotic Pokemon like Kabuto etc. As well there is a couple of gym here if you want to battle. Parking is not free. So this is definitely not cool. But if you continue to walk along the Riverside, you do hit more and more pokestop along with the nice view.
