Featuring both Harley Davidson and the Hard Rock Cafe checked both those items off my to-do list for souvenirs. The center seemed about 50% occupied but there were some decent shops still in there. We went to the pharmacy which was a good deal. We were able to pick up a pair of flip flops, a shot glass and some medicine in one stop. Plus the conversion was 1US to 20 Peso vs 16.50 at the port markets. I am giving the 3 stars on the three places mentioned above. That accomplished most of what I wanted to do in Cozumel. Except for the HRC I did not see any other restaurants here (Carl's Jr appeared to be out of business). I felt that for more touristy shopping the better option is the shopping center across the street to the south. To be fair I am reviewing this center because of the pharmacy. They had for us what other places nearby did not. I would give them a 4 star review.

It's right near the port, so it's easy to walk to and a convenient first stop once you get off the ship. Inside, you've got a mix of shops, restaurants, and places to just cool off for a bit. Whether you're looking for souvenirs, grabbing something to eat, or just taking a break from the heat, it works. There's a good variety too. You can find local items as well as more familiar brands, so it gives you options depending on what you're in the mood for. It's also a nice place to just walk around. Clean, easy to navigate, and not overly overwhelming. Overall, it's a good stop if you're in the area. Convenient, easy, and a nice way to ease into exploring Cozumel.

I found they have many options. There are large signs pointing you to the cruise ships. This plaza can be a bit confusing. Today the escalator were not working. If you can't navigate stairs then beware! Later on in the day, it caused a long line of cruisers trying to return to the ship. Due to a lack of escalators, the line was 2 hours long. I returned long before this happened. Come early and take advantage of the large Cozumel sign for a photo op.

The only thing I would say is the checkout can be very lengthy even when it's only a couple people. But I can see the workers are working hard which I appreciate. If you are new to Mexico, specially Playa del Carmen, then definitely go find your nearest Chedraui. They're literally the Walmart of Mexico!

Bring your own bags or buy more. There are ATMs near the entrance to get pesos from credit/debit cards. There is a security guard at the entrance monitoring all the comings and goings. You may be asked to check packages or bags you bring in with you. Remember to tip the bagging person, they don't get paid otherwise. Many of the department workers speak little English. The taxi stand is outside at the street. The man at a table will tell you which taxi to take. There are the usual sections of toiletries, household furnishings, fresh fruits and veggies, meats(out in the open without refrigeration) bakery, beer and wines and so on. Some flower bouquets. Eggs and most milk are not refrigerated here. One of the trickiest parts of shopping here if you don't speak Spanish is ...dairy products! There are many brands of yogurt, but finding YOUR particular home favorite or anything similar - best of luck! "Sin Azucar" means without sugar, but it could have other sweeteners. Without "gras" means fat free. Butter and margarine are hard to tell apart. I highly recommend the Google Translate App with camera: hold it up to the product and it will actually show the photo with the words in English (or other languages)!! One thing I appreciate is that high calorie foods have a warning label, on candy and cookies, for example. One thing I dislike is that nutritional information is so convoluted it is virtually impossible to decipher. There is not the uniformity of the nutritional content that we have in the US. There is information, but it may be per 100 ml and you are holding a 373 ml bottle that is intended as a one time drink, so a calculator is necessary if you want to know how much protein or calories it contains in total. For some reason, there is NO grape jelly here! Teas are not clearly labeled "caffeine-free," so bring your own or guess.

The rest of us ate Chinese "Cajun" food which is similar to what's offered in all US malls. Everyone was fed for about $35. The food was a little greasy but filling. It has every store you can think of from dirt ass cheap to very expensive and upscale. There's TONS of food options, a 4D theater, cheap covid testing, and a huge discount grocery store. I could've easily spent a full day here exploring all the goodies! I'm most impressed with Calcium nails where I got my gel acrylic nails done for $14 USD. I was also amazed by the grocery store. It had clothes, food, shoes, towels, alcohol, literally EVERYTHING. Like a big ole even cheaper Walmart lol. It can be very packed in the mall and a lot of people just walk right into you. I thought that was weird but hey what can ya do? I'm definitely looking forward to going back and exploring the mall even more.
