And when I visited these places I made it a point to seek out bakeries. I have to say, the Gering Bakery has got to be the best bakery I've had the pleasure to experience!!!! The sandwiches were prepared quickly and we enjoyed them at our picnic. The cranberry turkey sandwich should have been on a croissant but perhaps they ran out the day we visited and it had a different bread that was still delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is abundant and they have drive through service as well. The interior is nicely decorated and clean. Overall there is a welcome vibe to this place.
