We also asked for two ranches and didn't receive either of them, which was frustrating, especially with fries. It was disappointing enough that I ended up adding my own steak at home just to make the sandwich feel more filling. For $20 a plate, I expected more. Probably wouldn't ever order from "The Winery" ever again.

My 1st time (yea I went twice in one day) my husband and I ordered iced coffees. They grind their coffee beans fresh on the spot. It was delicious!!! We went back a 2nd time and I got an iced Americano also deeellliiicccoouuuss. My daughter ordered and iced chai latte and it was creamy and tasty! This place beats Starbucks by far. Now let me tell you about our sweetest barista, her name is Frankie and she puts her passion in her drinks you definitely taste the quality. I was disappointed to find out they don't serve real chocolate ice cream -- they mix chocolate syrup into vanilla instead, which just isn't the same. The staff didn't seem very approachable or eager to assist, which made the experience feel a bit off. I really wanted to enjoy it here, but overall it just missed the mark for me. read more

Parking was easy. Main street. There was so many spaces because most everything was closed. Except the restaurants and theater. Place was busy. Not so busy there was a wait but enough that it was a little on the loud side. Service was standard - I wouldn't say it wasn't friendly or attentive - everything was handled smooth and quickly. Just not a lot of chit chat and didn't really need much as far as refills or condiments go. Food was ok too. Huge portions. See pics. Friend and I split the shrimp fajitas and I devoured the chips and salsa. I did have to ask for a hotter version as the "house" salsa is perfect for those who can't handle the heat. Also wanted to mention, the frozen margarita was nice and boozy. Not overly - but enough that you could taste the tequila and it lingers for a little while. As for the main dish, good. Standard - and this is coming from someone who lives in SoCal. Don't know if I would ever be back in Chadron but if you're on the road and in need of some decent Mexican in NE - it's not bad.
