This cute little sidewalk cafe had just what I was looking for: a light, late lunch at an outside table. I chose the rocket pear salad, a lemon frosted cake, and of course a flat white. In the U.S. we call rocket arugula. So this salad was mostly arugula with other greens, a few thin slices of pear. and shaved Parmesan with a tasty drizzle of dressing. It was topped with a different kind of parsley. I liked it. The cake was a bit taller than a cupcake and had lemon flavored icing on just the top, decorated with something I couldn't identify. The waitress actually called it a lemon tart, so it was different from what I expected, but it was tasty. The flat white was just what I was expecting. The wait staff were very friendly and efficient. It was noisier than I like due to a woman singing for change outside a nearby store and the water sounds from the water clock, which was also nearby. read more
