Truly unsure how to start this. My current hair has been damaged from going to black then to…read moreblonde. So my front was short. My biggest fear was a Mullet. I bought 125 strands of bellami. This isn't even average. She put in 85 strands. Only 11 & 15 on my sides and the rest in back to reach 85. As any client we trust the person who is doing our hair, being lied to is just not a great feeling. She said I didn't have enough room for 125 strands and I didn't need them all. Need vs Want vs not enough room!!! I had MORE than enough space. The Shrinks were spaced a lot, between each row was at least 1" of hair and so much room to go up more on my sides. To prevent a Mullet, if a few are seen when I put my hair up...it's absolutely ok with me! She refused to apply any where they could possibly be seen. So now I have to wear my front top pulled up to even look decent. After looking at her reviews she has around 2yrs of experience, but website says different. I understand the learning process, but own it! I didn't call/text/go back to ask if more could be applied because she was very certain they wouldn't fit and her personality is more defensive than accepting corrective criticism. I have been doing shrink Links for 10yrs since 2012 and it's my favorite method. Being an extension technician, I took her bullshit and didn't call her out. I truly wanted my hair done! Owning MerMama Hair Extensions here in Mesa, you won't find mullets in my salon suite. Needless to say, my search is still on to find someone who has the experience to perform this method while using proper amount and great placement to prevent mullets.
