I really enjoyed this busy restaurant in the heart of State College. Walked in and seated quickly. The tables were buzzing with patrons. The Lemongrass soup, as it is called, but is Tum Yum soup and is a full of flavor treat. Spicy, savory and filled with chicken and mushrooms. I love spicy and this has a bite! The chicken satay appetizer is 5 skewers either a side of peanut dipping sauce. The Beef Salad is really a Larb Gai. Spicy! With lime tang and a ton of fresh veggies! Did I mention spicy?! The pad Thai and all entrees are huge!

This place has been a constant in my life since I was a freshman. They definitely had a change in chefs since then and the foods a bit different, but still very good! Our waiter took a minute to warm up to us, but by the end I felt like we were besties. He went out of his way to make sure our meals were to our liking and even offered to grab more chilis when he noticed from literally across the restaurant that my food wasn't as spicy as I was hoping, mans was out here doing the lords work. The ambiance is always cozy and for a BYOB you're not going to get a nicer spot. I will say their portions aren't huge for the price but for a few bucks you can add extra veggies or noddles to it and it's well worth it.

Ordered take out. Got the Cozy Thai fried rice and spring rolls. Delicious. Fresh veggies in the fried rice. Good flavor. The spring rolls were still crisp when I got home. Great portion sizes. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food and great service even during busy dinner time. Most authentic I've had in the region so far. Sam Tam was delicious. Difficult to find this dish outside Thailand.

I was gonna take more pics but got distracted people watching. Busy place but the dude up front was very friendly and patient. The food was excellent. I had the green curry and will be back to try other things. I recommend.

Wow! All I can simply say is WOW! This has got to be one of the best Thai food places I have been too. I visited yesterday with my boyfriend as we were in town visiting his Alma Mater. My boyfriend studied at Penn State for years and talked about how much he loved Cozy Thai and how frequently he would visit. It's been four years since he's left State College and he said the food was EXACTLY as he remembered it. We both ordered the lemongrass chicken with fried rice and shrimp cakes. OMG! The Lemongrass chicken was sooo delicious. It had a nice crisp to it and was slightly sweet. The also served a large portion which is nice because you'll definitely have leftovers to take home. The shrimp cakes were delicious as well. I would HIGHLY recommend visiting and definitely try the lemongrass chicken. The menu states that Cozy Thai's best seller is the Pad Thai, however, I feel like the lemongrass chicken is definitely a hidden gem. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

Food is always great AND piping hot. I don't know how they do it. We order from here a few times a year.

The food was delicious. You order at a counter and the food arrives pretty quickly after you sit down. Very good and recommended.

They also brought our check after about an hour at which point we hadn't received any of our food yet (not even our appetizer). I would go back but only if I have a lot of time to spend there. For food we had the chicken dumpling balls as an app, very good and a good number of them. I had the pumpkin curry it was very tasty, less curry sauce and more stuff than what I'm used to but good. And my fiance had the chefs special sushi roll, he loved it

Lemont is a cozy and quaint town at the base of Mount Nittany. Kamrai sits in the middle of the "business" area in Lemont. It's located in an old victorian style home with an enclosed porch. There's plenty of parking in and around town with sidewalks to access the restaurant. They offer thai & sushi as menu options. By luck we stumbled across Kamrai on this evening as we were in the area around dinner time. We got porch seating, which is great, and opted for some thai and sushi offerings. It's an old establishment but it has it's own charm. Service was good and the food came quickly. I got Spicy Udon with pork and it was delicous. I also tried their shrimp tempura. Overall it was a great visit.

We shared three dishes - beef stew, drunken noodles with tofu and beef ribs. They were all really good. The ribs were meaty, slightly sweet and fell off the bone. Served with a sunny side up egg, spinach and rice. There was an egg with the stew as well and it made the dish feel silky. The beef seemed slow cooked and the basmati rice went well. The tiramisu was solid, light and airy and very pretty plating. Service was a little apathetic, but the food was good enough to offset. Reasonable prices too. Would definitely go back if we lived here.

It is truly incredible and has ruined other ramen for me because of how good it is. I compare every ramen I get to it and they never measure up. If you do not really have a tolerance for spice, you can ask for it less spicy. We also got the chicken and duck rolls, both are very good. I do not know if there is a menu item in this restaurant that's bad. The seafood explosion is delicious and so is the popcorn chicken. We've had the cheesecake, the truffle bomb, and the lava cake, once again, all amazing.
