This is a small business operating out of 2 locations: Canton Mall, & Santa Rosa Mall both located in Bayamon. It's a small kiosk inside the mall.
The owner & operator Carmen is a very nice lady and offers friendly customer service. She offers fruit smoothies & frappes made-to-order. She also sells ginger lemonade and guanabana juice. I like that she uses FRESH fruit, not frozen fruit.
She also sells hummus and guava with cheese, a local Puerto Rican dish.
I go there for the Frozen Bananas though. She takes a frozen banana, dips it in milk chocolate, and you can choose the toppings of sprinkles, almonds or coconut flakes. It's the perfect treat for anyone who has a sweet tooth, like me. It really hits the spot, and it's way cheaper than an ice cream ($7 for Ben & Jerry's or Cold Stone-- that's ridiculous!! I'd rather buy my discounted movie ticket for ladies at Plaza Las Americas/Plaza Del Sol on Wednesdays with that money).
Anyway, it's nice to finally have a business offering something on the healthier side for those of us living in JUNK FOOD town, a.k.a BAYAMON. It's all fast food here, which is why I hardly eat out in Bayamon.
I just wish that she offered more juices, and green juice as well. But she has to cater to her market, and the general population here only likes anything laden with sugar. I'm more health conscious, so my taste buds are very sensitive. I usually tell Carmen not to add any sugar if I get a frappe-- but she usually adds brown sugar and cinnamon to the smoothies, so if you're picky like I am, tell her how you want it & she'll be more than happy to accommodate. Oh yea, and I wish she offered the frozen bananas in DARK CHOCOLATE :(
One thing I don't like (which has nothing to do with the business) is the mouthy and nosy customers (the locals). If you're not From Here, you'll find that Puerto Ricans are generally nice people, and they will strike up a conversation with you anywhere you go. One time this lady told me her whole life story while I was waiting to pay my water bill. Like bruh, I'm just here trying to pay my bill man. I don't care about your problems. Anyway, since Carmen's business is a kiosk & not a walk-in establishment, she gets A LOT of these customers who just like to hang around and talk your ear off. I just pretend like I don't speak Spanish so that they'll leave me alone.
Other than that, it would be nice if she had some chairs so that customers could sit & enjoy their food. But I totally understand trying to get customers moving along. So it's more of a grab-&-go kinda food.
