We ordered three of their frozen chocolate drinks, and every single one was absolutely delicious. Thankfully, it wasn't busy when we stopped by, so it was the perfect place to cool off and take a break from the heat. The café had a modern, inviting atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I asked if one of the frozen drinks could be split for the kids, and although they didn't split it for us, they happily gave us two extra cups so we could divide it ourselves. It was a simple gesture that we really appreciated. The frozen chocolate drink was rich, creamy, refreshing, and perfectly chocolatey without being overly sweet. Even the whipped cream was delicious, especially with the chocolate pieces on top. Everyone in our group loved it, and it quickly became our favorite sweet treat of the trip. Whenever we're craving something cold and chocolatey during our stay in Puerto Rico, this will definitely be our go-to spot. We can't wait to come back and try their bonbons before we head home!

Let's just say that the chocobar at this location was not what I was expecting. It's like an express version of their original one in Old San Juan. This is located in the lobby of the Condado Palm Hotel. There are 2 entrances. Don't make the same mistake we did by trying to access at street level. That door is locked. You'll need to enter through the hotel lobby. The service is very slow here. There was only one other person there. We ordered a box of 6 chocolates and payed for it. I'm guessing he was making a drink for the other guest because he asked us to wait a few minutes. It ended up being longer so he told his colleague (who just came back from a break) to make up the chocolate box for us. Unfortunately, it took even longer as this other guy was more interested in the 2 young girls who just walked in. The chocolate bonbons were good, but nothing unique. It's the same artisan chocolates that you see everywhere for the same high price. Perhaps this location is better for their specialty cocktails in the evening time. I was looking forward to trying the choco-latte at some point. I doubt there will be a next time.

The colorful ornaments from an artist named Susana López Castells caught my attention. I couldn't pass up the image of Calle de la Fortaleza in Old San Juan adorned with hanging umbrellas. It has both the Puerto Rican and American flag in the image which is exactly what I wanted. I kind of wish I had bought a tile or a magnet to go with it. The prices are definitely higher at the airport, but the service was very good. She wrapped up the ornament very well without me even asking. I'd return for more souvenirs. There's a huge variety of items including candies and snacks to take with you on the plane. Check it out when flying in or out of SJU.

This spot is right on the corner of an intersection near the church & tour guide map in downtown Old San Juan. They've got a big chair with the country flag painted on it that all tourists stop to take a photo sitting in. They've also got all kinds of souvenirs, magnets, stickers, trinkets, even drink cousies where they'll give you a beer if you buy one. Stop in here and grab some things while in area.

Rolled ice cream is cool and all, but what we pay for isn't really the ice cream: it's the experience. Watching them pour the liquid ice cream onto the cold surface, chop it, spread it, and roll it is what we're paying for. And Below Zero has blocked off the area where you'd usually watch them work. The weight was long, I'd estimate 10-15 mins. The ice cream was really good and I would highly recommend, just be prepared to wait.
