Went for sleep study, never got CPAP machine from CPAP & More. Called their office and they said no paperwork was received from Dr. I called the Dr and they sent it again. Waited and still nothing, just called and they said they got the results from the test but no chart notes. The Dr did not call me, CPAP & More did not call me to request more information. Now it has been 1 year and 2 weeks and CPAP & More has told me that the test is no longer valid because it has been too long. Now the whole process has to be started over. read more

I had issues with my previous Bi-pap provider, when I finally changed jobs and insurance providers I found out that I could get my supplies ordered through CPAP & More, a local company! Robin also helped me navigate getting a replacement Bi-Pap. She returns calls and is an advocate for all her patients. I cannot say the same for the other Cpap and durable medical goods providers in town. The people at CPAP & More have been awesome! They have been courteous at every turn, from phone calls to in-person visits. The wait for CPAP machines is 3 to 4 months (through no fault of their own, but rather awaiting micro chips). I was able to obtain a machine during my wait and they set it up for me free of charge, got me in for a mask fitting so I could purchase a mask for it and answered all of my questions. My machine finally arrived last week and I met with their respiratory therapist who was also wonderful. She listened carefully to how my CPAP usuage was going, made helpful suggestions, explained the differences between the old and new machines and again, answered every question! I found this place online and needed help with my current CPAP. I arrived 3 minutes prior to them closing and I could tell they were packing things up and ready to head out. All too often, be it a department store or fast food place, employees think only about their comfort, their time and convenience vs their customers. Not with these people! They were amazing, as they helped me find the two items I needed and we were laughing and joking during the ten minutes I was there! I've been to other places to purchase C-PAP items and all too often I feel like I'm bothering them. I would wager it's because they don't use CPAP's themselves and have no idea how amazing and crucial they are to one's well being! I cannot say enough good things about the people at CPAP & More. They are very professional, knowledgeable, caring and helpful. While visiting Nevada, I realized that an essential component was missing from my CPAP as a result of changing things out for travel. I found CPAP & More on Yelp and google, and am so glad that I went there. Although I was from out of town and only looking for a small part (but important because I couldn't use my cpap without it) the staff treated me as a valued customer. Not only did they go way out of their way to secure the part, but they also took the time to discuss how to get the best results with my recently acquired mask (which came from a provider near my home). For them it clearly wasn't about the money, but rather it was about being sure that the cpap therapy worked as well as possible. They didn't have to take the time to help an out of towner to the degree that they did, but doing a professional job in all circumstances and helping people seems to be in their DNA. The large selection of masks, CPAP & BiPap devices and other durable medical equipment was impressive. Searching for the right mask can be an ordeal, and they had an amazing selection. Even more important, they had the expertise and caring to provide guidance on how maximize the effectiveness and use. A couple of weeks ago I had the worst cold I've had in years. It landed me in the ER since I have asthma. The doctor prescribed me a nebulizer, and my pharmacy (CVS) doesn't carry them. Luckily, one of the pharmacists told me about CPAP & More, so I went over there and asked them if they had any. Unfortunately they were sold out. Wendy, one of the staff went out of her way to call other competing companies on my behalf to see if they had any in stock. This, to me, IS the epitome of amazing customer service is. She could have said, "Sorry, we're sold out." and gone about her day, but she didn't. I was sooooo sick and miserable from my cold that her help was so appreciated. She wasn't able to find me one, but I just had to praise this business for trying to help. Thank you so much!! read more

Robin and Bruce run a professional operation with phenomenal customer service. Once, when out of state and needing a replacement part, I received no help from every business I called. When I tried out the battery, I found that the machine lost power after about two hours. I went back to the store, and it turned out that the sales person had given me the wrong inverter -- one that was meant for charging the battery, rather than for running the machine. He said he wasn't as experienced with ResMed machines, which is what I have, because it's not what the local sleep specialist usually prescribes. He gave me the correct power converter on the spot. I went to the Supercuts next door, and about 15 minutes later when I came out, the sales person came running out of the store to tell me that in that 15 minutes, he'd spoken with the ResMed rep and confirmed that the converter he gave me was the right one. I was able to successfully use it all night long after that. Great service! read more

I have been to 2 other "providers" in town (and these were ones not listed in other people's reviews either) - they ranged from incompetent to completely dysfunctional. Not CPAP and More though. The only bummer is they don't take my insurance, but when it comes to your health, you have to do what's right despite the costs. This is the shining light amongst providers in Reno. FINALLY! A CPAP supplier who gives a d _ _ _ and who knows what they're doing. I have hired and fired two other stores in the area and was ready to throw in the towel and throw my CPAP machine in the trash. Having a good, knowledgeable store and adviser is everything, people. Key Medical was a disaster, so I tried Bennett. I got a mask that was about 50% okay but still, it was pretty much hell trying to get it to work and it woke me up continually. My doctor suggested I try CPAP and More. They were not on my insurance, but they were a last ditch effort to get this right before I go back to the land of low oxygen and heart issues. What a delight! I was given a same day appointment, for gosh sakes. Key was 3 weeks out and at on one occasion, I was made to wait 6 weeks and fought with rude people at the front desk. Bennett didn't usually return calls and was 2-5 days out for an appointment. They continually botched my supplies order or charged and forgot to ship, and it was just infuriating. The gal at the front desk at CPAP and more really taught me a lot I didn't know and gave me lots of great pointers. Since they were not on my insurance I was asked to pay $50 for the visit and it would be applied to a mask if I it (which I did). The owner took me into the fit room and the first mask he put on me has been a wonder. I am FINALLY sleeping well. With previous masks I'd wake up all night long with air blowing out my mouth and horrible noises coming from my face. Before that I went through six masks that didn't work for me from Bennett. I HAVE to keep going to Bennett until my machine is paid for, then I intend to switch to Cpap and More for all my supplies. My gosh it was well worth the money and you know, all supplies go on deductible anyway, so with Bennett you end up paying out of pocket more or less. Might as well just buy from this store. I reviewed them early on but wanted to review again to say that after a year, I remain extremely happy with this supplier. Their customer service goes above and beyond. They are always kind and compassionate. Their store front is staffed and open daily. A real person answers the phone. They respond quickly to e-mails. Now with the Phillips Respironics Recall upon us, I cannot imagine going through this ordeal without being in their competent hands. I am a retired RN and ran a business for 32 years. Very disappointed with CPAP & More. I had an appointment and drove from Minden with prescription in hand. The appointment was to transfer service because I was moving. The lady took a copy of my prescription. A couple of weeks later they called and said they didn't have a copy of the prescription. The phone message they left gave two differing email addresses to send a copy of the prescription. I sent it to both. Never heard back from them. What a waste of time. Guess I should be happy that I found out that they are incompetent prior to transferring service. I have since found a competent group in Carson City. read more
