I approached them 3 times to find out wha was taking so long. Finally after 1 1/2 hour later I git my medicine and this was after I had submitted my insurance detalis in advance to speed up the process. It was simply shameful to make a patient in pain wil for a full hour and a half for the medicine. I dont equate it to good patient care.

The reception told me that it's $20 for with reading for each step. I even repeated on the phone if "$20 including reading?" She said yes! Other locations are $30 for each step. I need the 2-Step test so a $40 payment for work sounds good to me instead of $60. I come in, it was busy so reception told me it will be about 40mins wait (which is probably longer anyway) so to come around 1:30pm since I had my baby with me. So I did. I waited an hour for the dr anyway... how convenient to be seen for not even 5mins. 3 days later I come in but only waited 10mins (so nice even though my baby wasn't with me this time). I was seen for 5mins again to do the reading and the Dr (a different one) told me that I had to pay $40. I told him what I was told over the phone and he apologized. Said that it's $20 for the injection, then $20 for reading since it's usually different Drs each time. I could've just went to a different location.. How could they mess this up? I do like how they have pillows in all their rooms and the sliding doors.

The whole process was easy to follow even as a first time donor. Check in with the receptionist - touchscreen screening Qs - go into a room with one of the staff for other Qs and hemoglobin test - if all is good, you will be led to a chair and have your veins checked - give blood - rest and snack to recover - be on your way. Whole thing took about an hour (giving blood was ~10min ish). When they checked, they worried my veins might be too small (apparently a common issue for smaller Asian women?) but Marisol was able to get in, no issue! I will be back :)

The check-in process is very smooth and quick. There is a required questionnaire with each visit... better safe than sorry. I came for the plasma donation and was informed it would be appropriately 45 minutes for the entire process and if I would like to use the washroom first and pickup any snacks to nibble on/ drink The process was painless and they came to check in on me multiple times... maybe I looked pale and scared I would faint? I booked my next plasma donation as I was exiting for the following week and look forward to the next visit

So they moved from their original location at Pacific Mall. Unbeknownst to me, I ended up on a…read morewild goose chase trying to find the place. I learnt that Silver Star Rd, extends to Mcnicoll but there's a gap in between. And they aren't in the plazas across the street from the mall. Instead, it's in a brand new excessively big plaza. Only the bottom floor of the building is occupied by a dental office, pharmacy and this medical centre. A WalkIn begins at 1:15pm on Saturdays. It's basically first come first serve and existing patients (like me) can come and line up for their doctor. Due to my huge detour, I was late and when I got there finally was 1:30pm. There was already 20 people in line, and I had to convince them to tack me on at the end. They also did tell me I'd probably be waiting til 3:30. I was all the way already, oh well. Although brand new, the office seems really unorganized. With 3 ladies, they are trying their best to deal with random patients asking them questions. I guess the benefit might also be to you, as you can sneak in through the line if you get in on their good side, but it's determent to others. Okay , so I had 2+ hours to kill. There were a few lunch places - Chako BBQ, Yummy and some Malaysian Noodle Place. I chose Yummy. They have free wifi. Now, if you have some time to kill, bring your device here, as opposed to the Starbucks across the street which was full of students studying. I left lunch, thinking that I could go to the Foot Massage place and kill another hour. I went in, and it was so sketchy. Dark - and the lady basically chased me out and made sure that I had left by pieaking out the door a 2nd time. Also she says their rate was $40 for half hour and $60 for an hour. What kind of Chinese place has these rates? There's also a Rona across the way if you're inclined to go there. Other than that, you're basically stuck. I went back into the offices, and decided to wait. There were power outlets in various places so I was in hand with Laptop for some distraction. When it was almost my turn, they called me on my cell, which was a nice gesture, but I was already here. I was out of the place by 4:00pm with my medical mission accomplished. Just a lot longer than usual.
