It was simply shameful to make a patient in pain wil for a full hour and a half for the medicine. I dont equate it to good patient care.

The reception told me that it's $20 for with reading for each step. I even repeated on the phone if "$20 including reading?" She said yes! Other locations are $30 for each step. I need the 2-Step test so a $40 payment for work sounds good to me instead of $60. I come in, it was busy so reception told me it will be about 40mins wait (which is probably longer anyway) so to come around 1:30pm since I had my baby with me. So I did. I waited an hour for the dr anyway... how convenient to be seen for not even 5mins. 3 days later I come in but only waited 10mins (so nice even though my baby wasn't with me this time). I was seen for 5mins again to do the reading and the Dr (a different one) told me that I had to pay $40. I told him what I was told over the phone and he apologized. Said that it's $20 for the injection, then $20 for reading since it's usually different Drs each time. I could've just went to a different location.. How could they mess this up? I do like how they have pillows in all their rooms and the sliding doors.

Despite the referral form stating no consultation required book procedure promptly, they refused to book the procedure without a consultation. They booked the consultation for TWO months later at the end of May. The original receptionist to book the appointment was dismissive and uncaring. Thankfully I was able to have the procedure done elsewhere in a timely manner. The receptionist who cancelled the appointment was unfazed but polite.

The whole process was easy to follow even as a first time donor. Check in with the receptionist - touchscreen screening Qs - go into a room with one of the staff for other Qs and hemoglobin test - if all is good, you will be led to a chair and have your veins checked - give blood - rest and snack to recover - be on your way. Whole thing took about an hour (giving blood was ~10min ish). When they checked, they worried my veins might be too small (apparently a common issue for smaller Asian women?) but Marisol was able to get in, no issue! I will be back :)

I came for the plasma donation and was informed it would be appropriately 45 minutes for the entire process and if I would like to use the washroom first and pickup any snacks to nibble on/ drink The process was painless and they came to check in on me multiple times... maybe I looked pale and scared I would faint? You can do everything in this one building. For example, you can get your blood tested here right away or if you need an x-ray or ultrasound. There's all sorts of practice here, such as psychologists, dentists, etc. I also like how there's a pharmacy on the ground floor. Its so convenient! They're usually pretty efficient so you don't spend a long time waiting for your prescriptions - which is great, especially when you're sick. Call me old, but I do hope everything stays the same here - even that one sllloowwww elevator.

The appearance is a bit run-down and the interior is pretty depressing, but it's packed with family…read morepractitioners and doctors accepting new patients. There's a walk in clinic on the third floor and the X-Ray, Ultrasound and blood work laboratories are located on the second floor, so doctors have easy access to test results. Dr. Hong on the third floor is the most punctual doctor I've been with, but she only works on Fridays since she has four kids at home. She's fairly young and I don't think she's too experienced, however, she gets me my flu shots and makes sure I don't have major problems with my health. Transport: Driving would be most optimal, but there is a TTC bus stop in front of the Medical Centre.
