Highly recommend coming here if you need urgent care. The doctors and nurses are kind and friendly. They take time to listen to your concerns. They provide quick resolutions. I was suffering with pink eye and didn't want to drive that far to my family doctor so I came here instead. They were able to help and prescribed me with antibiotics. The only downside I would say is it's always super busy with very long line ups out the door. Sometimes you may need to wait more than an hour - it's insane. read more

MARKHAM STOUFFVILLE URGENT CARE CENTRE At approximately 7:30 pm on September 28, 2025, Dr. Babak Sharifian wrote a prescription for my spouse. Instead, he wrote another patients name on her prescription. Also, the date on the prescription was September 25, 2025. What an IDIOT this doctor was. Without checking the prescription I took her prescription to a drug store at 8:00 pm. The pharmacist could not fill the prescription because my spouses name was not on the prescription. In desperation, I called the clinic. No one answered because it was after their 8:00 pm business hours. My spouse called the next day to have the prescription re-written so she could have her painful rash treated. Of course the attending doctor wasn't at work and only he could rewrite the prescription. So my spouse had to suffer another long day with the discomfort. She called the next day on September 30, 2025 and got to talk to this doctor. He placed blame on the numerous patients charts he had on his person. According to my spouse, he only had one chart in the examination room. The doctor did not apologize for his grave error and played the blame game. My spouse is not stupid. Unprofessional, hurried and unaccountable this doctor was. I hope another patient who experiences a loss takes this doctor to court. That was our first visit and will be our last to this charade of an urgent care clinic. Largest walk in clinic I've seen in gta! Kinda sad I can saw that, but kids and germs takes you places that's not the beach. Hours are great from 8am-8pm, there's always people in waiting room but worry not, as they try to see everyone fast. Which translates as, bring mindful YOUR session with the Doc can be 5 mins or less. It's hospital style here, so you enter your room that has a medical table and curtains drawn for privacy. They refer you upstairs for X-rays, across the hall for blood work but no MRI here. Being a walk in and not your family doctor, they may not be as thorough since they're the back up. Today, straight forward, my kid has pink eye, need drops, but Doc went through his lines so fast I had to stop him to reiterate when it's safe to go back to school. It's annoying if you need more time or a second part question, like trying to catch a butterfly. So you need to be firm and advocate if it's not clear. He said good luck to me and disappeared. Tip: there might be congestion in hallway or people sitting outside, don't be discouraged as it could be for another office. read more

I had the unfortunate need to visit the Markham Stouffville Urgent Care Clinic early yesterday morning in the middle of an ice pellet/freezing rain event. I came here from Pickering in the bad weather because they opened two hours earlier than where I usually go to in Pickering and there was some urgency to my situation. I had been here a few times in the past for minor injuries when I worked in Markham. The staff have always been friendly and courteous and the facilities are always clean. The doctors, even though they may not always have been able to provide me with an immediate remedy, have always been professional. Having diagnostic imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, etc.) conveniently located one floor up, makes this one of the best places to come to, outside of a hospital. On this visit, the waiting time was very short, maybe due to very few patients in the bad weather. I did have to go upstairs for x-rays and that was also very fast. The total time of my visit (examination, x-ray, and diagnosis) was under 45 minutes. They couldn't fix me but they prescribed remedies that should fix me within a few days. Hopefully. I've been to a few walk-in clinic's in the past, and this one is among one of the better ones. I've been to this particular one a few times, and one thing that I've noticed is that even when the waiting room was full, it still didn't take hours of waiting. They have a TV playing CP24 to watch while you pass the time, but everyone is on their phone anyway. I wouldn't come here for anything thorough. It should only be used as an emergency last resort, and I came in since my regular Dr. was booked for 5 weeks (!). My problem was relatively minor, and while the doctor wasn't really able to help, he was able to check a few things that I just couldn't myself. The visit was super quick when I did see him, but he was efficient and had a ton of other people to see. He referred me to a specialist, and I was on my way. The check in process was relatively easy, as a first time patient I wasn't having to fill out forms on a clipboard or anything. Glad to have found this place among a sea of other clinics. Lots of other medical offices and labs in the building too, which is convenient. read more

I went there 2 times. First to have my symptoms assessed which they were, although it was done in 5 minutes and the first doctor ( BABAK SHARIFLAN) was brushing me off but I guess he seemed more polite than the last one. I got a requisition form to go get an exam done and I had to come back for the results. I called this place for 3 days in different times and no one ever picked up the phone call, I also emailed. So I had to call the other place to find out if my results were faxed or not. I went there yesterday and I saw 4 receptionists taking and chilling and doing nothing at all because there was no lineup (which no one critiques that as long as they do their duties which is pick up the phone and or reply to emails) I did confronted them and ask why is it that they don't answer the phone if they seem to have time to talk to each other. The phone was blinking red and I'm guessing other people were trying to call. They had no way of explaining themselves, obviously. The second doctor (the worst) NADER TAGHADOS didn't even know what was the reason for me to visit the clinic and read the results in 2 minutes and referred me immediately to someone else AGAIN. When asked a question his answer was: NO. I was this close to ask why they chose to be in the medicine field. My father is a doctor and he would never provide such a horrible experience to someone who is a little scared or trying to figure out their symptoms.. ALERT: Recently we received a letter from the Markham Stoufville Urgent Care Centre Clinical Manager stating the we tried contacting you on behalf of the doctor, please come to clinic to discuss your abnormal results with the doctor. This caused a concern as we haven't been to the clinic since last year and the doctor did not raise any concern at our last visit. After visiting the clinic, as they are not available over phone 905-472-8911, Ms. Sabrina (claims to be the manager) said that their standard system is to send such letters to all patients and the letter should be interpreted as "a follow up with doctor if required" and not as "abnormal results" as noted in the letter. When I checked the website Nash Adhya MD is noted as the Clinic Manager on their website. This episode apart from gross negligence in their communication and justifying that is the way the system communicates, also creates the suspicion if the clinic is trying to increase their appointment to generate revenue. Hope this is investigated and the system is fixed immediately to avert a legal action against fraud. read more

The best walk-in in Markham. This place has been my go to for the last 3 years. The doctors are knowledgable, always diagnose me correctly and the process is usually moderately quick depending on how many people are in there. My last visit was for an Ultrasound of my shoulder. Arrived at 10am on a Friday, saw the doctor, went upstairs, got my ultrasound, went back down, saw the same doctor again, prescription and back home by 12:30. This place blows MSH out of the water. Way faster and the staff actually treat you like a human being! read more

The line at this walk-in clinic moves fairly quickly and I soon found out why. Dr. Sharifian spent all but 2 mins with me. He did not ask about my medical history nor did he spend time asking about my condition. I had to volunteer my medical history and even then, it felt dismissed. He prescribed me a medication but when I got home and started reading the details, it indicated that it is extremely important to discuss my asthma medication with the doctor before taking the prescribed meds. I noted to him that I had asthma but he never questioned it further or asked what medication I'm taking for it, leaving me unsure of whether I should take this prescribed medication. I would recommend that others save their time and visit another walk-in clinic instead. Update: I went to a different walk-in clinic to get a second opinion. Had a completely different diagnosis and the other doctor didn't understand why I was prescribed the meds by Dr. Sharifian as I had none of the symptoms and hence the meds would not have been useful. read more

Very good walk in. I've been coming here for the last 4yrs or so. It is a busy walk in, but they are pretty quick getting patients in to get looked at. They have 2-3 doctors inside usually. They can do ECG/EKG onsite, can swab for strep throat, and alot more. X-rays can be done upstairs and results sent straight to their monitors. Blood work can be done across the hall. Staff is friendly, and efficient. Lots of seating. Lots of parking in front of building. As i said, sometimes it gets really busy at times. So the wait is longer. Good hours, they are open on days you don't expect them to be.. like New years day (i think, it was one of the holidays) Tip - don't go there at closing time, they cut off walk ins about an hour before closing. read more

I would not recommend this walk-in clinic. I had a fall and broke my wrist, needing a cast. It was put on so tightly that I had to go to Markham Stouffville Hospital two days later to have it removed. My fingers were swollen and turning blue. On top of this you are charged $45.00 for the cast and$10.00 for a sling of muslim. This is not charged at the hospital. The doctors are in too big of a rush as the clinic was busy. The doctors here at this clinic are quick and responsive to the symptoms I was feeling over the months. There are far too many walk in clinics in Markham. A lot of them haven't succeeded and closed down fairly quickly for various reasons, so i was a bit skeptical about trying another clinic. I first heard about the Markham Stouffville Urgent Care Centre when i had to take my oldest to Emergency at MSH with a really high fever. Last week i was hit with a really bad cold and couldn't make it out to my family doctor in Thornhill, so i had my hubby take me to this clinic Sunday morning. When i walked in it was pretty busy and there were a lot of people sitting in the waiting area and standing in line waiting to be registered. It amazed me how quickly they made it through everyone in the waiting room, sometimes calling in 1-3 people at a time. I was so congested & achy that i almost considered walking out rather than waiting to see someone. I even texted my hubby (who was waiting in the car with the kids) that it was busy and that i would probably be about 30-40 minutes. Which ended up not being the case at all! I was called in within 5-10 of arriving and looked at by one of the doctors. I was in & out of the clinic in 15 minutes with a prescription in hand. The receptionist takes note of your symptoms when you arrive & present your health card - which saves a lot of time. They are open Monday - Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday/Sunday & holidays from 8am to 4pm. No appointment required, but they don't accept anyone 30 minutes before closing. Quick & efficient and definitely somewhere i will be going back to if i need to see a doctor immediately. Markham seems to have a lot of doctors/offices but not too many that are accepting new patients, so i'm so happy that i have the option of using the Urgent Care Centre again next time a cold hits or my hubby or kids get sick and need to see a doctor right away. read more

This is a walk in clinic located inside the Boxgrove Medical Arts Center. The receptionists, nurses and doctors are friendly. It is also quite quick (for all my visits I was done within 1 hour). They can also check right away the results when they do a throat swab ( compared to other places who say they will call you if there is something). So whenever I do not feel well, I feel very confident in returning to this clinic. read more

Unreliable, I've had a cough that lasted for almost a week now, the doctor quickly listened to my breathing and said I'm fine it's just a sinus infection. Even with the green and brown phlegm. He prescribed me a steroidal nasal spray. I knew something wasn't right due to me coughing all night. I went to another walk in for a second opinion, she actually said I'm developing bronchitis and needed antibiotics! That's why I've been coughing so much. I've been here a couple times before (barely any waiting time) but I find myself doubting their diagnosis and going to another walk in to find out it's something else. It's always unreliable. This is an extremely efficient walk in clinic. I came here for some shots on a Sat afternoon and I had waited all about 2 minutes in the waiting room before I was escorted to the patient area. The area I was escorted to did not have any rooms, just beds and curtains (hospital style?). I waited about another 2 minutes before the doctor came by, asked what I needed, and promptly called for a nurse to give me my shots. It was all business, no small talk or niceties, which I guess keeps patient flow going. The facilities were clean, which is very important. I'm docking a star because the nurse was not very professional. She asked that I undress for the shots, but when she left the room, she did not close the curtain fully. Then, when she returned, she did not check (no door, can't knock?) before opening the curtain and I was in the middle of undressing. She pretty much exposed me! This lack of care annoyed me, but for the swift service, I put up with it. Also note with the lack of doors, you can hear other patients, so the lack of privacy is also a pitfall of this clinic. If you don't mind potentially walking out of your appointment and locking eyes with another person who heard some of your medical issues, this place is worth a visit for the quick service. Don't expect any in depth diagnoses or good bedside manners though. read more

I went to the Clinic on Saturday morning, May 13, 2017. I was having a very bad case of allergies and what I was taking was not helping. The doctor who saw me, only read on the sheet I had written when signing in that I was there for allergies, never asked for any symptoms or if I was having dificulties breathing. he was so eager to see the next patient, he never asked if I was using any other medicine and only prescribed eye drops. He never even let me talk and gave me the prescription for the eye drops. I was about to ask him about my symptoms and he said "The eye drops will take care of it" I was amazed how bad this doctor was. I would never recommend this clinic to anybody if you actually want to get well or want your loves ones to get a good prescription. I'm sure the clinic knows who I'm talking about by the date and time and also there must be hundreds of other patients who had the same experience with this physician. read more
