WORST DOCTOR EVER! We'll start with Type of care: lil tough on zoom sometimes but I have NEVER and I mean this NEVER in 41 + years of my life met a more incompetent physician/physchiatrist. EVER. So start improving there. Competent physicians who know internal medicine..So anyway Get this. This guy! first of all my appointment was actually set for 10/31 but since Dr.(?) ,seriously I'm really questioning he has a medical degree no joke. I spoke to 5 different specialists (all same specialty as the most incompetent of incompetent physichiatrists I have ever met. ) My father is a physician and isn't crazy bout too much dosing and he was like this guy was literally bartering medicine with you on the phone. It was almost laughable until you realized how bad it was. They could not BELIEVE the incompetence. And I am very sure whoever reading this is like yea right . I can make up 5 Dr names no problem. But ask yourself this? If you already got all 5 n I just leave on the line for me out to dry like that that's messed up. But for this CLOWN!DM me and I'll bend on it.. No diddy. So we sat and wrote all the ridiculous shit this guy pulled. I've been on 3 meds long as I can remember ambien for insomnia 10mg for long as I can remember along w 30mg ir addedadsl and 15mg xr adderal for ADHD again like forever. O wait side bar*****it just keeps getting better. This fool left back in October and forgot to tell the patients who had appointments and then all his staff had to scramble like crazy to fill his patients rx's at least until he came back, which was like TWO WEEKS...wtf. These are SERIOUS MEDS AND VERY SICK INDIVIDUALS. I can't.....anyway back to this moron. Conversation starts: So he tells right from the git. Trouble sleeping I'll give you more ambien. I said you can only take 1 at bedtime 10mg ir is the max. He goes oh really? I said yes. Then I said Well the cr is 12.5mg so can't hurt to try just sometimes insurance gives me a hard time filling it, but I'll def try anything at this point. Ok 3 down (so I thought....o so I thought) then I just mentioned bcuz it was mentioned in our last appointment 3 months prior and Dr you specifically said you did not want to give me any Xanax and the adderal xr at the same time and I absolutely respect that even though I'm having a real difficult time sleeping at night mainly due to anxiety. The ambien is still doing its thing but lately especially since getting laid off last month one at bedtime even just a.25mg just maybe take off slight edge but you know...I absolutely respect if you don't feel comfortable with that even though.25mg wouldn't even make my 6 lb cat yawn. So for no reason other than I have no fuckin clue this dude cut me completely off my 15mg adderal and I am going through such bad withdrawal it's crazy. Honest. That is all that happened. Like maybe when he heard me say Xanax he automatically just went into this guy is ONE of those guys. Remember the name ya'll Dr. SAMUEL AMPONSAH! Cuz it ain't going to last. N now that purposely put me rapid withdrawal the ambien is almost worthless. I'm shaking like a scitz right now (hey maybe the .25mg would have helped with that or the kilonopin he SWORE he would prescribe me last week spoke 90 days earlier (in case Xanax hits too quick he likes klonopin more. HA! He said that! He actually said that too. until he hung up the phone right in my face and never answered again. I figured he'd probably just sent the old scripts he always used to but he actually prescribed less ambien and DOUBLED ON SOMETHING like Prozac. Shit was crazy! I'm already an insomniac and now he put me on a medication known to give 41% of NORMAL patients insomnia. Me and my family have reached out to the medical board. So pray for me guys. See if they can get a better Dr who understands not only medicine but human beings. I know it's hard out here fo a pimp. I do. They are really coming down tough on these drs to be such fuckin puppets but this was out of CONTROL. Sorry rapid withdrawal doing it thing again. Gotta go. I went to school at CPC high point school. The Middle school was okay, that's why I have an extra star. In The High school I didn't know who was more immature the students or the assistant teachers, excluding Tara. Ms. Tara and Miss Karen and a few others are the only reason for the The extra star. Otherwise, I would've rated it one star! A lot of crooked things, including bullying going on at that school! The teachers even bullied the students! Do not go to this school! Miss Karen retired and so did Miss Tara, it was sad how teachers were so awful. Especially "babs" she is immature and not as smart as she thinks she is. I heard she finally retired. I would normally never do this, but as it concerns a center of psychiatry that is low cost for those of us who are living in poverty, I believe this story needs to be told. I started going to the CPC center in Matawan/Aberdeen NJ in early 2015. It took a few months but eventually my psychiatrist was able to adjust my medication to the right dose. I have to take very high doses of anti-anxiety medication at night or I don't sleep, which makes my anxiety even worse. I had an appointment scheduled in the middle of December and then received a call saying my psychiatrist had to leave for a while due to a family emergency. Well, these things happen so I just made sure I rescheduled with another psychiatrist so I could make sure I had my medication. I arrived at 5 PM on the newly scheduled date only to find out that they had canceled my appointment (I wasn't told why) and not rescheduled. I had already been without my medication for over 24 hours so my anxiety was high at the moment. I was repeatedly told by everyone who was there (about 3 women) that they couldn't refill my medication, and that I had to leave since they couldn't do anything for me. I became very scared (going through the night without my medication is horrible) and I told this one woman that all I had to help me get through the night was alcohol. I didn't want alcohol, I don't really even care for it but I was trying to impress upon the women at CPC that I had to have my medication. In response to me saying I would be forced to use alcohol to stay calm I got a careless reply of "well that's your choice"! It was not my choice, I desperately needed my medication and it was very obvious that I wasn't going to get it. They never apologized or showed the slightest concern for my condition. I had no real choice so my husband and I left. I spent that night becoming irate from the anxiety and experiencing panic attacks. It was one of the worst nights of my life. They refilled my medication in the morning, but I was already a wreck by then. It's been 9 days since that awful night and I'm still having nightmares. I'm not sleeping well and I'm dizzy during the day. What did the CPC do for me? Nothing, they've referred me to a different location because they didn't want to deal with someone who was showing signs of her illnesss. They've closed my file and refuse to see me. I'm not saying I was a saint that night, I was scared and angry at them for cancelling my appointment without telling me; I know I have a temper and that's exactly why I see a psychiatrist. As "professionals" in psychiatric care they should have shown me empathy and tried to help me, instead it was just "go ahead and get drunk, we don't care". It took me several months to build up trust with my psychiatrist and now I'm not allowed to see her, they're sending me to a different care facility. I live with enough stress as it is, and the CPC in Matawan/Aberdeen only made it worse. I'm putting this story out there so others won't have to go through the misery I did. I'm sorry I never usually write a review of a business such as this and especially a bad one. I was attempting to make an appointment but had some questions regarding insurance. They said to call another number which I had been transferred numerous times before. Left a few messages since no one ever answered and they were never returned. But worst of all as I walked into the building it smelled like someone had went to the bathroom (both 1 and 2) in their pants.
