Arrived and was told they didn't work on iMacs. When I pointed out that iMac was an item shown on the site, a guy said well some stores sell scooters, we do not. Idiots. These guys are great. They will responsibly recycle/dispose of old electronics. I took my aging iPhone 6S in to have the battery checked, they were very professional and pleasant to deal with. They checked the battery, determined that it was failing, and then replaced it for me on the spot for a very reasonable price. I was very pleased with the experience! If you've got a hardon for being hard on cell phones, you need to have TechRX on speed dial. I have a habit of dropping my phone and cracking the glass. These techs can fix and return the phone quickly. I am typing this review on my laptop while I wait for them to replace the cracked glass now. read more

I originally contacted Pedro Sunday evening, May 1 since I have a six-year-old iPad2 with a battery which was going bad. He was quick to get back to me with store location, and said he would order the battery Monday and to expect it to arrive Wednesday ($75 parts and labor). On Tuesday at 12:20, someone called to say the part was in so I said we would be there shortly (I live in Perry while the store is in Warner Robins so a 30-minute drive). We got there about 1:15 and was told it would take about two hours so to return at 3:15. Initially the tech said the battery might not be bad - I had been a network administrator for 7 years and a Microsoft certified MCSE so felt I knew what needed to be done with the iPad so said to go ahead and replace it. We returned at 3:15, and there seemed to be some confusion regarding which iPad I had brought in for repair. Apparently there was a white one with a broken screen (mine is black with an intact screen) so finally figured out which was mine, and that I was seeking a battery replacement. I was told to come back in an hour. We returned at 4:15 and was told it would be 'a few minutes'. About 30 minutes later, after sitting in their lounge area, they brought it out. It took a while to come up but also had a white cloudy area along the long edge of the display - he said this indicated there might be some liquid inside - so they would fix it and would be finished by closing time (6pm). We went to supper, came back at 5:55 and the tech said there was a problem with the LCD display (which they replaced without cost) but in putting it back together, they had done something to the wiring near the on-off switch (see below) so would need to keep it overnight to fix that so to return the next day (Wednesday) after 12 noon (they open at 10) to pick it up. I called at 1:30 since no one had gotten back to me by noon, and they said it was just finished. I went back, talked to Alex (who is good to work with), we went through a quick test, and it seemed OK. I took it home but discovered the 'closing the cover to put it to sleep' function no longer worked. I called Alex, and he said it might be a setting change. I rechecked this plus a hard reboot with no help so went online for a possible fix. Discovered there are two different cables that run from the on-off switch to the volume control (remember they said that had to be replaced?). With the wrong cable, the cover switching was inop. I printed off the explanation and took it and the iPad back again. I again talked to Alex, showed him the explanation and left it with him. He called back a while later to say they had discovered that the four cables they had in stock did not work but an older on from another iPad did so would have to order one taking 3-5 business days. A week later (Wednesday), Alex called at 4:30 to say it was ready and worked. I arrived at 5pm, the front camera didn't work so said it would be about 5 minutes more. At 5:30 (another half hour of waiting), we tried it again and all is well. So a two-hour job took a week to complete. 1 Star for Service but 5 stars for Alex trying to help so 3 star average. read more
