It is not information you just get out of a text book- it's information from someone with true experience with her own kids and she is a delivery nurse. We took the childbirth and newborn essentials classes. My husband and I feel confident and excited for our first born to arrive. One of the best parts about her classes is that in the end you gain a resource as Karen welcomes you to call or text her in the future with anything. Apart from the fact that the homework and various assignments serve only as "busy work", the assignments themselves are full of technical errors that make it frustrating to complete. Most of the staff takes forever to respond over email or any other type of communication and the responses are vague, uninformative, and in some cases slightly rude. There are hidden fees everywhere, including a $100 fee for missing a clinical shift with very few exceptions, and extra supplemental material that costs an additional $100+. This was absolutely not worth the money so don't waste your time.

Luckily I spun the wheel and all was well. I guess I have experience in sliding now.
