I had been procrastinating on getting my mani/pedi because of the bad experience I had in Milwaukee right after I moved here. Since then, we have finally found our home in Pewaukee and I knew I had to find a place. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile by the owner and he took me to my chair right away. I was assigned to Suki and she was just a doll! She took very good care of me and she was such a delight to converse with, I didn't even sleep during my pedi like usual. Although it was more expensive than what I am accustom to, it was definitly worth it. (the pricing back home is more competitive due to supply). The chairs, tubs and stations were obviously new, but you can tell that it is very well taken care of as the staff takes pride in their stations. I booked my next appointment with Suki and am excited to call Lavish Nails my new home :-)

I have had great experiences here with many of the technicians, but recently have been very impressed with Jason. He is thorough and cleanly - he wears gloves from start to finish, which in my mind, just makes sense. I've always struggled with dry cuticles, hang nails, and aberrant nail growth on my right thumb. I can't cover it with nail polish due to my work, so it needs to be filed and buffed. Jason got to work, and my nails look great just to my liking - a buff manicure. The salon is bright, lots of colors, nice staff. New tools for every customer. Highly recommend!

It felt unnecessary and honestly quite humiliating. On top of that, the colors I specifically asked for were not done, which was frustrating after already feeling judged. The overall tone and attitude made the experience feel unwelcoming and embarrassing. They also have the tools in "sterilized packets" and they are not as evidenced by not seeking the color seal To make matters worse, when I still chose to leave a tip, a comment was made implying it wasn't enough. That was the final straw. I left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. No one should feel that way while trying to enjoy a simple self-care service.
