I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience during my recent manicure and pedicure. From the start, I was told they couldn't properly do my nails because they were "too short," and this was commented on multiple times throughout the appointment. It felt unnecessary and honestly quite humiliating. On top of that, the colors I specifically asked for were not done, which was frustrating after already feeling judged. The overall tone and attitude made the experience feel unwelcoming and embarrassing. They also have the tools in "sterilized packets" and they are not as evidenced by not seeking the color seal To make matters worse, when I still chose to leave a tip, a comment was made implying it wasn't enough. That was the final straw. I left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. No one should feel that way while trying to enjoy a simple self-care service. I would not recommend going here if you expect to be treated kindly or professionally. read more

I've been coming here with my mom since as long as I can remember. She loves Rose - we've followed her from every salon she's even worked. My mom gets a french pedicure every single time with bubblegum base. Rose remembers and makes sure that it's right for her every time. She's thoughtful, precise, and careful with her work. I have had great experiences here with many of the technicians, but recently have been very impressed with Jason. He is thorough and cleanly - he wears gloves from start to finish, which in my mind, just makes sense. I've always struggled with dry cuticles, hang nails, and aberrant nail growth on my right thumb. I can't cover it with nail polish due to my work, so it needs to be filed and buffed. Jason got to work, and my nails look great just to my liking - a buff manicure. I have been a loyal customer for some time but I won't ever go back after today. I had paid for a $60 fill only for 5 nail breaks to happen within a few days. And when I went back to get them fixed they said I needed a fresh set- so she ripped my nails off without any soaking or priming. Causing my nails to really hurt and rip. No consideration for the customer and only about money. Don't risk ruining your nail beds. I still paid full price and always tip and still tipped 20% because I got the service, however I still made sure to tell her I don't like them ripping my nails off and all she said "well that's how we do it here." Eh, I'd give 3.5 if Yelp offered half points. It's clean, workers are nice, but I think I was done with both my basic mani/pedi in about twenty minutes. I'm re-doing my nail polish when I get home as it didn't cover my whole nail and you can see brush marks at the tips of my nails as there wasn't enough polish to make it to the top. I have visited Lexi Nails a few times now and really think I've found my nail place. The staff is very friendly and I never have trouble getting an appointment. When I arrive they greet me and get me in right away. This last time I got a full set of acrylics after having been just getting the gel polish. They are a little longer than I probably would like but it was hard to tell until she was done. I love look of my nails, I just think I'm going to have a hard time working with this length. I'm definitely going back and am happy with the service I've received. They have so many color options for polishes. I'm looking forward to summer and getting pedicures here as well. read more

First time coming here. I was super impressed with everything compared to all the other nail salons I've ever been to. First, they were very nice upon my arrival. They seemed very busy, but was accommodating. I suggest you call to schedule an appointment. Second, the one who painted my nails was super nice and helpful! Wish I got their name, but forgot to ask. I want there to get my acrylic nails removed and it was not a great experience. The place was clean and the staff was polite. However, the woman removing my nails seemed to be in a hurry. She used a clippers and a acrylic nail to wedge my nails off without soaking them or anything, so it ripped of some of my nail with it. When she was done she very quickly "filed" my nails but left them jagged and uneven. She said "I will smooth them out for you" they are not smooth at all. It was cheep it was only $10 so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Took my daughter and friend to Lexi Nails and would go back again. Liked that they were open on Sunday and got us in the same day for a pedi/gel mani. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is nice - like the high ceilings, lots of light and that it's new and clean. The staff provide input on colors and choices, which I didn't mind, but some could find off-putting. They are respectful thiugh, and don't try to upsell. I will start by saying I was a walk-in on Friday, Aug 27 about 10:30 but I had made a spur of the moment decision to get a pedicure. Maybe it would have been better if I had an appointment. They were busy, but the receptionist said they could do a pedicure. A man was assigned to do my pedicure. I did not get his name, but he was tallest man there and he wore glasses . It was the worst pedicure I ever got anywhere. His demeanor throughout the pedicure made me feel he was unhappy to be performing the service. He cut my toenails with difficulty, did not trim any cuticles, performed minimum filing, and used the SOAP SCRUB instead of lotion for AN EXTREMELY MINIMAL massage. I did not even realize that it was his version of a massage until he started the polish procedure. (Anyone who has had a pedicure knows how important a good message is to the customer.) He finished my pedicure almost the same time that two other technicians, well into their pedicures when he started, finished theirs. To top off this frustrating experience, one of the big toes's polish had a lump in it when I left. I let Angie, the woman who took my credit card, know that I was not happy with my experience. Since I did have a better experience the first time I went there, I would go back, but I would be sure not to have any work done by this nail technician. read more

My mother and I went here for pedicures and she also got a manicure. The location is new and very clean. I appreciated the extra measures they took at cleanliness, often missing from other salons, such as disposable liners in the foot bath. Atmosphere is light and bright and the staff was pleasant and attentive. My mother is elderly with Parkinson's and the woman working with here took extra care and time to help her move from one area to the next. I appreciated this. Went to this place because my regular nail lady is out of town. I picked a color I really liked for New Years, but as she was putting the color on my nails she said it was "too light" and used a different color I didn't want. My nails were long so I expected her to trim them.... nope. Not even file them down. She was rough trimming my cuticles as she did it while my fIngers were partially dry and not soft. Then she had me wash my hands AFTER she put lotion on them. Makes no sense. Her process is just so messed up. Needless to say, I have long brittle nails with a color I don't like. I have been so loyal to this salon for 2 years now. I have had minor mistakes over the course of this time period, but never enough to cause a problem. I went in for a fill on this past monday and was very unhappy with the result. They were crooked and the color was uneven. When asking to get them fixed, I was given an "easy fix" by filing over the color, leaving my nails to be missing the color on all of the edges. At this point I was so unhappy with my service and left to get them fixed at another salon. I wanted to like this salon from the reviews I read, but my experience was not good. I got a shellac manicure that started to lift up in less than a week and toenail polish that started to peel off in the same amount of time. My daughter got a shellac mani and callus removal pedicure and all she could say was how rough the person was doing her nails and how she criticized her for having such short nails. I went back 9 days later to have my shellac removed and they wanted to redo it for me, but after he manually peeled my shellac of a nail peeling my own nail with it I decided against having them redone. It also didn't help that it was pretty painful when he pushed my cuticles back. Ouch!! read more

However this time they failed to clean up my cuticles and the $75 spent at this place was a terrible waste- my hands look horrible. A professional place should not have customers walk out without finishing the job. The friend I was with also did not have their cuticles cleaned. Would not recommend after this experience. read more
