I generally just opt for a 'polish change' or 'polish only' instead of getting an entire manicure. I find the result to be the exact same and it's of course cheaper that way. All of the techs I've had do a great, clean job with nail painting. Never had a result I didn't like! Most recently came in for a dark polish on my finger nails and she did a wonderful job in 15 minutes. The salon itself is always clean, but it's certainly outdated. Could maybe use a little upgrade in that way, and maybe a little lower on the intense overhead lighting- just mini suggestions on making it a little more spa-esque. It's tucked into a little shopping strip off of Santa Monica, so it could be very easy to miss. Give this local spot on your next mission to get a mani/pedi!

Everyone here is very friendly and accommodating, plus the salon itself is super clean and well-kept! My manicure took ~an hour and was plenty relaxing. Especially the hand massage at the end, wow what a little bonus that was. Wouldn't say it's the absolute bet manicure I've had in my life (I always notice the smallest little things haha) but Tyler certainly did a good job. I brought my 12 year old daughter in- her hair is curly and very thick and we were having a hard time managing it. Ritchie was amazing- not only did he give her a beautiful haircut, he showed me and my daughter step by step how to style and fry her hair so we would have the same results at home. He also provided us with small portions of the same products he used so we could try them at home and told me to call him if we had any trouble. Ritchie has a great personality and is fun to talk to- he had my shy daughter opening up and we all had a great time chatting while he did her hair. I showed the nails I asked for, they said $70, and when my nails were almost done he said $85. I expressed that they had already told me $70 and that is what I will be paying.
